Odin : Complete(Write) operation failed. - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a samsung galaxy tab 3 7.0 wifi sm- t210 . Few days ago I decided to get back to stock firmware ( I had a custom rom installed StockROM-Refreshed edition-T210-V1.5 ) games were not running smooth. Before Flashing I did enable usb debugging I'm sure then I went to TWRP recovery and fully wiped everything by going into (advanced wipe) every single option. Then I went to odin and tried to flash stock firmware provided in this forums(xda developers) and Odin was first hanged at setup connection then I disconnected and reconnected the device then tried again then it was at Initialzation for 10 Minutes or more then it said:
Without Pit file :
> File analysis
> Setup connection
> Initialzation
>
> Set PIT for mapping
>
>There is no PIT Partition
>
>OSM > All threads Complete succeed 0 failed 1
With Pit file :
> File analysis
> Setup connection
> Initialzation
>
> Set PIT file
> DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET
>
> Complete(write) operation failed.
>OSM > All threads Complete succeed 0 failed 1
On the device screen there is no downloadd bar or anything
Then I installed a wrong custom rom for sm t110 in twrp recovery now my tab cant even get to recovery whenever I try after The manufacturers name it shuts down. I can only get to download mode. Battery Green icon dont show only the one with circle (Loading ) Shows.
Then I searched alot then found Repair firmware 4 Files BL, AP, CP, CSC. installed all together with pit files and without pit file without repartition checked with repartition check but no luck.
When I go into download mode the device status is :
(Odin Mode
Product name : SM-T210
Current Binary : Custom
System Status : Custom
HW REV : 0x5) it doesnt show brackets lol...
I have tried different usb cables different windows, Computers but no luck, Different odin version 3.07 1.85 3.09 3.12
FIRMWARES I HAVE TRIED:
these 2 came with Repair firmware 4 Files :
T210XXBNH5_2432755_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 one of them is 4.1.2 and one 4.4.2 android version
T210XXAMGE_1256430_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
downloaded these 2 from this site :
T210XXANC2_T210OXXANC2_T210XXANC2_HOME.tar.md5
T210XXBNL1_T210OXABNL1_HOME.tar.md5
Now please guys help me! i have tried every single thing and I don't normally post threads without googling and i googled alot..
And I Press home + power button for 30 seconds before going into download mode. Cuz without pressing home + power buttom for 30 secs it doesnt power on.
I know it is not hard bricked cuz it doesnt show nand write start fail error. so there must be a solution.

[GUIDE][PRO DUOS] Recover B5512 from soft brick using ODIN

I have soft-bricked my phone by trying to install a different kernel and ROM on my Pro Duos B5512.
Flashing only the kernel in the thread by championswimmer didn’t work because of a md5 mismatch.
This guide should also work with other samsung models if you find the right firmware (search on http://www.mod2xtreme.com/ or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1656825)
All credits go to manoranjan2050 for his great work in uploading the firmware for all the samsung galaxy y devices!
Go here to find the firmware package for the y pro duos
http://www.mod2xtreme.com/showthread...-Firmware-List
There I downloaded the latest firmware for Europe. Using Odin3 v1.85 I flashed successful and my phone is back up and running!
Here is a step by step:
1. Download and install KIES by Samsung (Odin needs these drivers to work)
2. Download odin3 1.85 (search on xda)
3. Download a firmware pack on mod2extreme
4. Open Odin and put the phone into download mode (volume down+Home+power, then select volume up to enter download mode)
5. Wait for your computer the finish the automatic driver program and your computer should recognize your phone
6. Now select the following files in ODIN (make shure auto reboot and F. reset time is selected)
-> PIT is the .pit file in the firmware map, the box in ODIN to Re-partition should be automatically checked now (if there isn't a pit file then this remains empty)
-> BOOTLOADER, select the file which has BOOT in the file name
-> PDA, select the file which contains PDA in the file name
-> PHONE, select here the file which has MODEM in the file name
-> CSC, select the file which has CSC in the file name
Info:For Save Use Do Not Use Boot loader and pit file. Do this only if everything else failed!
When everything is set-up click start and keep your fingers crossed! When everything goes according to plan your phone should restart, copy some files to system and the reboot again. Your phone is back to life! (boot could take 2-3 min)
Hope you fix your phone!

Nice explanation..
1. Suggestion..
Add "[GUIDE]" to your thread name.. It helps to identify what it is in mobile xda app.. and change mobile name to galaxy y variants.. As i suppose your guide covers both y duos and y phones... And lastly add link to manoranjan2050's thread (link)who is doing great work of providing all latest stock firmware updates to both duos of galaxy y.. So anyway good info..
hit thanks button! If above post helps you..

dude the download link dosnt work..
Thaks for the great guide. In Nitubhaskar's compact kernel thread for our device he gave advice on how to flash stock kernel and recover from soft brick in case you brick phone while flashing custom kernel. Can you add some of that info here and credit the appropriate persons? It would be great to have all relevant soft brick info for our device. Yor thread is dedicated to recovering from soft brick and so would be the best place to have all the facts in one piece

Hi, I have not used odin before, but my phone (B5512 galaxy y pro duos)
has a firmware from another country and I want to have my own
(because then I can write in my language). I have downloaded a file which
has "modem"," csc" and "pda" files only and it's the firmware other people
from my country have (B5512XXLF2) . I think my phone has Polish firmware (B5512XXLL1)
while I want the Greek one. Also, these two types seem the same
(the only difference in the code is the year month and version)
but one has greek keyboard and the other doesn't, what's the deal with that?
Will this method work for me? If not can I recover my phone?
I have not done this before and the phone is less than a month old and I am scared!
Thank you.
Recovery via odin should be possible. As for flashing Greek firmware I recommend you talk to Deadly or another expert via PM before proceeding.

I can access download mode. So I tried to flash another recovery. Odin says successful but the recovery is still the same ????
I also tried to flash a stock rom with Odin... nothing changed
So I dont know what to do next

well flash philz recovery via odin
untick "autoreboot" in odin. Once flash is done, keep pressing power button until it reboots (normally will go to recovery)
when in recovery, if you choose option "reboot system now" and you get "yes - disable flash recovery", select that option to avoid stock recovery overwriting cwm
now proceed with wipe and after flashing rom ,fix permission and wipe cache and dalvic cache twice then reboot

I wanted to try this, but this download contains just one file. Even if I extract the tar, there are not the files included which are discribed in the thread...
quite strange....
I simply cant flash anything with Odin. Odin says success, but nothing happened to the phone. I didnt read something about people who are having the same issue
This drives me mad .....

well its not sds for sure so it seems either recovery has gone corrupted as,the pit file u said is not required though u can find it here to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1896696 post 4 no4 pit file16gb
but i would suggest you to try the recovery thing as mentioned in the link as see as the one i mentioned is used when it does not enter recovery try this version http://d-h.st/vCc
keep the power button pressed it should enter recovery leave the power button when u see samsung logo
I did it long time back so dont remember exactly whether to keep pressing power button or to hold power button worked for me as auto reboot was not working for me so did the other way round as mentioned to you

Im glad to hear that it is not sds.
I tried to flash the recovery of your link:
If I leave the phone connected if I press the power button after flashing just the battery symbol apears after a while.
If I disconnect the phone, it tries to boot normal...no recovery...
If I tap on the power button again and again nothing happens.....
If I try to boot into recovery with the 3 button combo there is still the old clockwork recovery.
I also tried to do a emergency recovery with kies. Kies does download all the files and when it starts to flash it gets stuck at 0 % and sais phone is not connected in the right way but it is...
In Odin mode the phone displays
custom binary downloads : Yes ( 1 counts)
But did flash the recovery at least 3 times ...So why does it still display 1

do u have kies installed when u trying odin if yes then delete it just install the samsung drivers nothing else and disable your antivirus too.
orelse u may try
thats quite strange ok now its time to try the mskip tool just delete all old samsung drivers and kies
and start fresh from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923956
and as far as the count in concerned its 1 as you were only able to enter recovery once thats why after that u were not able to so as many times u enter custom recovery the count increases

i would say no until there is an error which shows no pit partition found but after the above steps if it does not then u can give it a fresh start flash the pit first then the firmware . check youtube as how to do it there are vidoes described on how to flash pit and then the firmware.
i would suggest not to do something which you are not sure of and land urself in other issues though flashing pit and firmware is fine but i am not sure about the bootloader maybe u can ask in that specific thread , keten might be the best person to guide you in that case if its safe

Note 10+ SM-N975W Boot Loop After Update

Hello all,
So I recently updated my Note 10+ and while the OS will load and I can unlock my device, it reboots about 30 seconds after the OS loads. There is a notification showing that it is finishing up with the update each time the phone restarts. This will repeat over and over again and I really would like to avoid losing all of my data (both my internal and SD memory is encrypted). I've tried leaving the phone for a bit to see if it would stop, turning off bluetooth, wifi and location and plugging my phone into the charger. Nothing seems to work.
Full disclosure, about 6 months ago I followed a bloatware removal thread on these forums and uninstalled a handful of apps. I was careful to avoid any that I thought might cause issues and I've done OTA updates since then without issues but I figured I would mention it in case that's part of the issue.
Model: Note 10+ (SM-N975W)
Carrier: Telus (TLS)
Bootloader: Locked
Update: OTA via carrier
Appempting To Update Firmware Via ADB
1. I downloaded firmware matching my model and carrier from both Sammobile and using Frija as well as the ADB Platform Tools via Google.
2. After using apply update from ADB via Samsung recovery and trying the firmware files from the above sources my ADB progress never shows above 0% and my Note shows Verifying update package indefinitely.
3. Disconnecting my Note shows the following errors via recovery;
E:Failed to read 6 bytes data at offset 5983263248: I/O error
E:Failed to read footer
Update package verification took 90.3 s (result 1).
E:Signature verification failed
E:error:21
Install from ADB completed with status 2.
Installation aborted.
Attempting To Update Firmware Via Odin
1. I downloaded the 2 most recent version of Odin from XDA and chose Reboot to bootloader from the Samsung recovery menu
2. Opened Odin with admin privileges and loaded the BL, AP, CP and CSC (CSC_HOME) files. All MD5 checks done.
3. Hit Start and 2 seconds later I had Odin showing PASS! as well as the following;
<ID:0/003> Odin engine v(ID:3.1401)..
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..

4. Phone reboots and problem continues.
Any help you guys can offer would be appreciated. Let me know what other info you need from me.
A quick update. I attempted to put the previous firmware onto the phone via Odin and soft bricked it. It failed to boot and gave me the option to wipe the device or try again. I managed to get it back into download mode and used Odin to flash the latest firmware onto it and it boots into the OS now but the bootloop still occurs.
Edit: tried to restart the phone in safe mode but it hangs on the Samsung logo for a minute and then reboots and loads the full OS instead.
Try Smart Switch for PC, emergency recovery as I remember. Based on SN# maybe it'll be able to flash the latest firmware for it.
Turn phone off. Take out SD card. Hold side key (side key must be set to power off mode)and volume up key in at the same time until you see Samsung logo. From here you should be able to flash what you need to.

Phone Stuck on Dowloading (Do not turn off target)

Hi,
Phone; SM-AF520F
My phone has been restarting on its own from the past month and I ignored it. It showed me occasionally Google services failed or system UI is not responding.
I factory resetted the phone as any noob would do and the restart occurrence went to only at night, which I was unbothered with. A little time passed and the phone went to the downloading sky blue screen.
I'm aware with flashing roms and stuff but I never really tried it. I tried everything;
i) Used Odin, three different versions
ii) Used Stock firmware, three different versions
iii) Used Smart switch
The phone only went in download phase and than in the phase where you press home button, volume and power and it shows fonts in the left hand corner. Odin always giving me errors, sometimes stucking on setting up connection.
Two errors:
i) There is no PIT partition
ii) Write operation failed
There are always these things happening.
When I restarted with volume down and power key, the system showed, there was an error and try smart switch, updated my drivers but when I go in the settings to emergency recover my phone, it does not show my phone.
After restarting the phone couple of time, Im in downloading mode again, in between the screen also turns full sky blue with no text.
I tried installing custom recovery but the image didn't load, ( I dont know what i am doing at this point, even if this was a good idea).
I have scavanged every forum, every post, everything on the internet but I just can't seem to fix it, I tried every possible thing and it just dosent work. I know it can be fixed but I don't know how. I know I'm doing something stupidly wrong but I can't seem to figure it out.
This is an old phone, I'm going to buy another one soon but I just hope it works for another week? Can I wipe the whole system and start from scratch (Which i dont know how to do).
Any type of help would be greatly appreciated, or just tell me to give up hope on it so I can just throw it away and move on.
1-Install 7zip application in windows
Then using 7zip, try to open file (in stock ROM files) -⇾ "CSC_ODD_***"
2-There is your phone pit file for a520f.
Extract that file and keep it between your stock Rom files.
3-Download the Odin from this link and open it:
https://dl2018.sammobile.com/Odin3-v3.14.4.zip
4-Go to download mode (blue screen) in your phone!
Add 4 part of your ROM to Odin.
Then in pit tab of Odin add your phone pit file!
5-In option tab of Odin toggle Re-Partition option.
6-click on start and wait until it shows a green icon and phone restarting!
It must be fixed!

Thank you for your response.
I did what you exactly said, previously it failed at the instant, now it moved one tab and than failed.
I tried the provided Odin, than tried two roms with, with the pit filed extracted and enabled re partition.
The error occurred: Complete(write) operation failed.
The error occurred every time I tried to flash, it never worked.
Do you think there is anything else to do?
Try this way to go download mode:
Press vol-down + power until phone restart
Then instantly press vol-up + Home + Power to going to download mode!
If it not works for you! You can use (eMMC programmer or easy JTAG) to writing rom on your phone memory (Last Option)!
I gave up on it and asked for professional help. Idk what he did, but he fixed the phone. It was sluggish at first but it works like a charm now.
It took 7 minutes to turn it on, than It said, there was an authorized user who tried to access your phone, use your previous email password to access your phone. I put it on my previous details and the works okay after some updates.
I wonder what he did? And i never knew android has a feature where if somone tries to reset your phone, google account locks it? Wow.
Is flashing a custom os a good idea? I'm afraid I'll brick it or something or just keep running one ui and wait for it to die again.
Thank you for your help btw, made me learn alot.
