So i flashed root to my phone and when i booted it up it was asking for a password after that i factory reset and now it wont boot to the system please help
update its booted up now but can you guys explain how to install twrp? and root?

Flash the stock rom, dude! Don't root your phone if you're a noob.

I rooted my gpro and install the cwm recovery
And now i want remove the cwm, i only want root
So how can i do? I don't want clean all my data. I just want restore my boot loader

Probably you installed cwm with freegee. With freegee u can lock it again.
Please someone tell me how to root my phone using coloros 2.1.5i on android 5.0? I tried many ways but i haven't rooted my phone yet, and i wanna use other roms, such as MIUI. pleaseeeeeeeeeee helppppppppppppp me, please!!!! :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
First flash TWRP recovery, then flash supersu. That's all.

When i flashed TWRP, i got stuck at fastboot screen, then my phone rebooted automatically. But it could be used normally, afterthat i rooted it successfully with King root. tks u so much for helping:good:

Im using Android 5.0 color os 2.1.5 already root using kingroot..
After I flash twrp recovery img, my fon stuck at fastboot menu

I wanted to root my nexus 5x too, first I tried to do so with the nexus tool kit....
it was all working until it came to the root process:
it said in the log:
Rooting....
Waiting for your device....
and nothing else happened anymore.
So I tried it manually with a guide.
As the bootloader was already unlocked, I continued with flashing the recovery (twrp 2.8.7.2) in fastboot.
Then it rebooted into the recovery.
Then twrp asked me for a password, (Mount) decrypt Data. I skip it without entering a password. And I didn't add a pattern or PIN to unlock my phone at the first boot up.
I allowed the system modification then... so then before rebooting, twrp wasn't asking me if I want to flash the SuperSu.
Since this I'm stuck in a bootloop.
I can boot into the bootloader and recovery, I also tried to do a factory wipe or also formating data. But none of them worked for me. I'm still stuck in the bootloop...
I have no idea what to do now....
I'm really thankfull for every kind of help!

Try to reflash TWRP over adb-console(on your pc) and then Root- Systemless version.

I'm not able boot my phone up anymore.... I can try to flash the recovery with fastboot again...if this is what you mean?
okay i pushed the supersu zip onto the phone, and just flashed it. And my phone is booting normally now

I got the phone unlocked, I flashed the twrp and the miui8+super su.
I updated the rom and lost the recovery and the root permision.
If I flash the twrp again, will I wipe the phone? If yes how can I get rooted again without losing the data?

It's important when you have flashed TWRP that you re-start your device holding the Volume UP button (point 10).
It should keep TWRP after that, it did for me but I flashed my ROM at the same time.
Just flashing TWRP & rooting shouldn't wipe your data.

Hi guys, direly need your help. Had some issues flashing saying failed to decryt phone. Factory reset. Performed factory reset. I still have access to twrp. But everytime i flash a rom it will say successful. But when i boot it up it goes straight to twrp. I really appreciate if anyone can help.

I suggest you backup your phone then wipe all partions via twrp. Then sideload your new rom
