It is silicone, it's the same type of silicone used in flexishield. It's a newer version that's easier to pull in out ,and provides more drop protection than normal silicone.
I got one of them for my hero a while ago.
Haha! Photoshop fail. They took pictures of the case with an HD2 in it and then photoshopped the EVO into the cutouts. They didn't even bother to remove the HD2 camera lens and flash. You can see them above the cutouts. For this, you shall not have my money.

Super Slim Cases

Just stumbled accross this over at Amazon/Play.
Imperial Hard Case Super Slim Black
Looks like a decent enough case, protects the back mainly, and looks very thin
http://www.amazon.co.uk/iTALKonline.../ref=sr_1_134?ie=UTF8&qid=1321528707&sr=8-134

STK Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 TPU Case / Black
Not sure about this one, resembles the Neo Hybrid in a way, just doesn't have sperate layers.
http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/23551468/-/Product.html
Think im gunna take a gamble on the Italk one. Thin around the back, has holes in all the correct places. Looks like ir protects the phone when its turned over.
For £4.96 you can't go wrong really!
It's hard to tell from the photos whether it really does protect the front of the phone (when you place it face down). I'd be interested in what you find!
Yeah, i know what you mean. To be fair. I nver plce my phone screen way down anyway!
Came this morning, Looks promising.
Will upload pics etc in few hours
First impressions are its very nice and slim!
Cant hardly tell its there!
Pros
Slim
Feels nice
Doesn't look cheap
Gives sight screen potection (I mean slight, 1mm tops)
Cons
Doesn't give much protection to Camera
Buttons on side could irritate some people.
To be fair, i wanted a slim case, which this is. I dont intend to launch my phone around, i always place it down back first.
Ill try and add some pics of the phone in the case soon.
Shots of the phone in the case.
I apologise in advance, The worst digital camera i've ever seen used in my life!
Gives you a rough idea, if your sat here now thinking, should I, Shouldn't I buy one. Go ahead and do it! You won't be dissapointed for £4.95
Also available on eBay for about £3
Feels rather weird having this case on, been use to thickness and the lip over on the Neo Hybrid!
How's the grip with this case?
Yeah, its alright, feels nice in the hand.
Honestly its a really nice case for £4.95, or £3 on ebay.
You wont be dissapointed!
Do you have the link to the ebay one?
Ebay Link;http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-Black-..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item2c60b78dc9
Im also going to try one of the following; http://www.obostore.com/nillkin-rainbow-silicone-soft-case-skin-for-samsung-galaxy-s2-p-1397.html
Do you think the phone would fit in a desktop dock with this case fitted?
Cheers
Rob
Probably.
Really is sllim, Like it says on the ebay link 0.3mm thick.

Excellent, I'll wait for the case to arrive, then have a look round for a dock that will fit.
Please let us know how the obostore case compares, I'm a big fan of decent phones cases and will inevitably try out a few.
Thanks
Rob

Neo Hybrid EX Copies

Anyone seen these on eBay?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Black..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item4ab0c62217
Not sure what to think, its basically the Hybrid EX, but a cheaer made version.
Anyone here tried them?
Yep I've got 2 made a review
Nice looks decent for the price.

Looks tempting, but still looks rather thick and bulky :/
Also dont like the look/idea of where the case meets the back, and the gap between it....
Whats the lip like on these?>
Asin what comes over the front of the screen
http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/20953364/-/Product.html
i got this one and perhaps it does get scratched and dirty easily it fits the phone perfectly and i have dropped my phone about 2-3 from about a meter on the floor and nothing happened so I couldnt be happier for that price
the picture at play.com doesnt really show the exact look of it, if anybody wants to I can take some photos of it.
Looks good. Just remember, you get what you pay for...
yeah could you take some pics please
very good for low price
Here you go!
I got them today, ordered them 2 weeks ago at eBay. (Got another one in blue, but it turned out that I don't like the colour that much)
The quality isn't that good, as you can see from the photos. Had to cut some excess silicone off with a small scissor.
I didn't like the glossy look so I decided to treat it with some sand paper and acetone to give it a matte look. I'm quite happy with that.
But you can't hear the click-sound when you push the power button; I guess the silicone over it is too thick. The volume buttons are fine.
Sorry for the probably worst camera and English skills.
Edit: FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, what's going on with the photo size?!
Edit 2: Saved photos as attachments.
Just got delivery of mine this morning...
Pretty decent bumper for the money, I went for the all black. Have compared it to my Walnutt and compares very well expect for the cheaper material used meaning it doesn't look or feel as good as the Walnutt but hey, my Walnutt cost me around £22 where as this was just over £3.
Looking forward to trying both with my extended battery which is finally on it's way from Clove.co.uk

Video Review: Incipio NGP Case

Hey fellas,
Got my hands on the Incipio NGP, which is a TPU case branded as "next generation polymer" by Incipio. It's a pretty simple case, but sometimes that is a good thing, as this one is made very well! Featuring an incredible matte finish, the case is thin, even for TPU case standards. That means it will be comfortable to hold and use, but also that protection won't be as good as some other alternatives. For the most part, this is good all-around case and most people should be pleased using it.
Check out the full review below;
Your reviews helped me with my purchase of the SGP ultra thin air. Nice job and thanks!
Thanks for the review. It's a little pricey for just a tpu case. Other companies offer the case and a screen protector for less money.

Cheers! Glad to help out, thanks for being a viewer
Thanks for the video/review. Definitely helps to be able to see these actively.
I love Incipio cases because it comes with a screen protector and installation hardware (microfiber & squeegee)
I have it as well. It is definitely simple but it's thin and the translucent grey one looks good with Pebble Blue (imo)...
Like he said, the case feels great. Good quality, slim, fits perfectly and even though I wear skinny jeans, no trouble getting them out of my pockets.
Biggest problem I had was (like mentioned in the video) that the side power button really lost clickiness under the case. It still worked when you pushed it, but you really didn't get a good *click* feel, so unless you were looking at the screen, you probably wouldn't think you'd clicked it. I ended up just using an xacto knife to slice out the button covering and now its all good now.
Dropped the phone once or twice from about a foot up and no damage, so no complaints...

Been thinking of cutting out the button as well, was it difficult at all or just a clean swipe through?
Only thing holding me back is the fact that it wouldn't look consistent unless I also cut the volume rocker, but it feels so great I don't want to tamper with it, haha.
Cheers dude!

Xtreme Skins

Has anyone used these before on their P9? I've just ordered some as not been able to find a decent case I like.
They seem very reasonably priced compared to others.
Unfortunately I cannot post links yet.
Never heard of them, but would like to see pics. The dbrand skin I had came off on the top. The sticker layer above the camera is simply too thin.
I was going to get the dbrand one but I think they were about $20 for one. I shall post a couple of pics when they arrive, which hopefully won't be too long.
Hey Matt,
my phone has not arrived yet but I ordered from Xtremeskins too now because the skins are dirt cheap and look really promising. Also, when I watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YrK0rkbFRc the leather skin looks really nice and georgous.
Once I get my phone and applied the skin I will post pictures here. Also am looking forward to see your pictures.
Best
Kon
I've used a black leather skin from dbrand for a while now and I reckon it's made of a similar fabric (3M vinyl).
The texture and touch is quite nice and come as close as can be to genuine leather. The cut and fit from dbrand is astonishing though I couldn't tell for xtremskins.
My skins arrived. I ordered orange and red carbon look. The first impression was nice. They look good and feel even nicer. Applying them was easy with help of their videos on their website.
The fit: I would give it 99%. Only on the sim tray and on the logo (see pictures) it is a little unaligned. Nothing that gets in the way of the beauty of this skin.
It feels very nice and adds a good grip to your phone. Suddenly, I dont feel like it is gonna fall off my hands any second...thats good.
However, the glue is not the best. On the sides it just doesnt seem like it is sticking properly. I have to constantly press it down and align it again. If the glue was a little better Id probably give it a 10/10 but if I knew dbrand had a better glue Id buy them there to be honest. I will update my review in a few days, however, I feel like this wont hold for long..sad though
Some more pictures
update: I have to revise my previous statement, dbrand doesn't even offer protection for the sides on the P9...maybe I now know why

Here's how mine ended up;
imgur . com/a/B21ls
cutouts were pretty accurate, no issues with the sides
using that tpu case to preserve the skin and phone even more
Nice, thanks for posting the link. Since you also use a case it is a little different to my use case I think Anyway, looks good
Hey Kon,
Apologies for only just replying to your post now but not had the chance due to ill health. The Orange carbon one looks good in the pictures although I wasn't keen on how it looked on the phone. I have a white glitter one on mine which actually looks decent. The material on it seems to be thicker than the Orange carbon one. I did have an issue with keeping the corners down but as I now have a bumper case on it doesn't matter too much. I decided to leave the Huawei lettering covered just to keep a clean look on the back. I'll get some pictures of it put on here tomorrow as soon as I charge up my other phone.
Matt
