Hi i got my lg opt v wet.... It works fine just very dim..... The battery got wet the most.... Does anyone want to sell or donate a battery plz.... Thanks very much

volsdeep is right, remove every thing from the phone and put it in a dry bowl of rice and leave it for about 2 days.

Okay let me try,
Recently the battery drops on my trusty defy have increased, two drops between 60 and 40 and 30 and 20. Will buying a new battery solve this? And also, maybe ot, but any reviews on the mugen 1700mh battery?
In the previous build, 18v1update and in this one, my battery when connected to the charger just heats up and doesn't charge more then a certain point. On the v1 i had to wait till a complete drain and then it charged, on this its at least at 50. Any one else facing those issues?
How is it that some people are getting mad battery life, like you ppero, and some aren't?

Before buying a new battery you might should try how the battery life is on roms like cm7, so that your not buying a new one due to some bugs in the rom

just to get this clear... you created a thread which has the exact same purpose as the q&a section?? how does that make sense? if i were a dev, id close the thread right now... wth happened to the defy forums?? up until august everything was working fine, and after that, spammers and [email protected] noobs took over...

This thread is a nice idea, but it essentially serves the same function as the Q&A section. For low-activity devices that don't have a Q&A section, this would be nice, but since the Defy does, it's more appropriate to have questions posted there. Thread closed.

You need to have experience on XDA. You joined in October. The minimum requirements for any title (RC, RD, RT and maybe MODs) are at least 9 months. Plus, you must help out A LOT. Post counts (worthy posts, not spam) and thanks (legit thanks) are also a minor key in all this. Also, attitude. If you're an a-hole when it comes to helping...well, lets just say you shouldn't bother . Calm down. Take some time to learn how things work on XDA. You're still new here so there's no rush. If you're bored, help out as much as you can in your device forums. That's all the advice I can give. Hope you find your path on XDA and who knows ? You may be a Senior Moderator infracting me in the future

But i thougtht that matter was already finished the first time round. After the dev asked the moderator to open the thread it was done so. I am aware of that issue. However why is it closed the 2nd time. Any idea?

I believe it's the same reason. Moderator gave them 2 warnings.

1st was because of a misunderstanding of Tamir asking to close the thread.
2nd is because something with ads and payments.. I didn't really get it.
Anyway, its very sad the thread is closed. I really hope it will be re-opened soon.
