OnePlus 5T Pre-Order - OnePlus 5T Questions & Answers

Hey guys. Does anybody know if the 5T will be available for preorder from oneplus.net? I know O2 is doing a preorder but I'm interested in the unlocked version.

Oppomart seems to have preorders:

There was no word in conference about preorders. In case of 5 they mentioned it at the end.
Also on official site - no word about it. guess we have to wait for 21st or go oppomart.

Yes I got the email yesterday. I'm able to purchase today starting 8pm EST in New York with a special offer code. This offer expires in 24 hrs.

I went to the Brooklyn event. I got an email with an "invite code" and at the event we got a paper slip with a $40 off discount code printed on it. But alas, I inputted it during the preordering while a OnePlus 5T was in my cart and it said my order doesn't qualify. I inputted it again after that and it said the code was already used. I proceeded with the order nonetheless and emailed customer service to help out.

If anyone got the email and its no using it, please pm me the code.

I'd also like a code for preorder if some has a spare. I know sales open in about 30 hours or so from now, but I'm eager to buy!

It's not easy like clearer photos was from last time

I think the chances of us getting a code in the next 9 hours are almost zero. These are unique codes given to people that paid $40 to go to the NYC presentation.

Just wait for tomorrow at 9:00AM EST to order...

im flying from Portugal to Turkey tomorrow when the sales open. maybe i will leave my details to a friend so he can order it for me. thats why i was asking for a pre order link in case someone wont use it.

I hope they ship in a reasonable amount of time..

[Q] Anyone recieve info on their Negrielectronics preorder?

My order date is 9/22 opted for free ground shipping. Order still says processing. Anyone from Negrielectronics get a tracking no. yet?
I ordered the 18th and nothing - their site now lists expected shipping as 10/4 for the black Note 3.
Between tax and other fees buying from t-mobile locally, it still seems worth it to wait, though it's annoying it'll probably be early next week at the earliest to get these phones.
Most likely will ship Saturday or Monday for everyone. Hopefully we get them by next Thursday. But it's worth the wait for the price, just a little jealous from all the people who already have theirs.
I only pre-ordered mine today, but I was able to use a coupon code (NE20OFFCART) for an extra $20 off. If you guys didn't know about that, you might still be able to get them to apply it before it is charged to your account.

Maybe they are going to be backordered, and 10/10 is when it is estimated to be available for anyone who is going to order from now on. Just a thought, but most likely not true.

Some people are going crazy over not getting their device as fast as possible. Patience is a virtue, and for your amazing price, I will gladly wait. Please don't take what some of these people say personally, because for many of us, we are really appreciating your hard work!

We have increased our price. Why? Because our cost is higher. All orders placed prior to the price increase will be charged the lower pre-order price! All new orders would need to pay the new price. (One of the many benefits of Pre-Ordering).

I was going to preorder one today. I added it to cart for 689.50 and then when I went to checkout, the price just increased to 729.50. WTF?????Can the price change in my cart? The price just changed when I was creating my account.

It's the same thing with any other retailer, minus a few. Unless you've made the purchase, it's always susceptible to price changes.

200 trade in promo

I just ordered the note4 on 24th first time ever will have a note phone!
Now question to people who did the trade in promo.
I ordered my note4 on the phone couldn't do it online, on 24th I want to trade in a 10$ worth phone on Monday.
Then mail it to them both receipts dates are different so question is if they will accept it? it says it has to be on same receipt but it's impossible in my case.
The promo is extended til 31st because of Verizon having it on 23rd i Think.

You probably need to ask them. The preorder did not require both to be on the same receipt, but the other offer says that it does.

I emailed them no response.
I went to live chat on samsung and she said it should be fine.
Anything you can suggest? if any stores around me would have i would do at the store but none had them and had to do over the phone. couldn't due it online due to some error.

Umm i read if you mail all paper work to them it will be ok.
I will go to corp store and trade in phone 10$ worth and ask to print my note4 receipt plus trade in.

yeah I just saw that but oh well if it works cool and if not then it's okay. my order is pending now and as we learned with the 10 launch that means it should ship soon. probably looking for Monday or Tuesday arrival since I paid for next business day.
Just to update. I just got my FedEx shipping notification just now. they are coming Monday. hopefully they start selling them everywhere soon.

I emailed Fed Ex and told them "Dimensions 35x30x7 cms" shown in the tracking i information I got from your website are length and/or width. If the fool in customs clearance is too ignorant to know that, then they shoild be looking for a new job.
That bad part for me is, once it finally makes it to the US destination, I have to wait 8 more days for it for it to be sent to me at my APO address. Had I known it was coming from HK, I could have had it shipped direct to my Korean apartment address.

i just called and raised hell. I told them I am well aware that they are holding up 100s if not 1000s of packages for the same reason they are mine and you all's. He told me he can also clearly see weight and dimensions in the info, but I have to wait and call back in an hour when the IPD(International package distribution) department opens. Anyone want the number? 18002474747. opens at 10 am EDT.

I just got off the phone with FedEx International Dept. and they told me it's a bulk shipment that cannot clear customs as it stands now. They said no idea as to when it will clear!!!! Once it clears 24 to 48hrs until delivery. This SUCKS!!!!

The Microsoft store 30 mins away from me have plenty instock and Ill be hear waiting for days to get mine. This is BS.

mine has been released and is moving again. I spoke for everyone that had a phone stuck in Memphis so I hope everyone's else is released and moving as well.
I wouldn't be too happy guys the shipment cleared TN and went back to AK and it look like it's going back to China I'm like you waiting for the phone.

What method of payment did you use?
I spoke with PayPal earlier today & they told me that if I refused delivery, as soon as that shows up in the shippers tracking (FedEx), you will receive a refund instantly upon request....................Ditto if you could show a current customs issue/hold.
If using PayPal Credit, the refund process is going to be much longer, up to 90 days, which is typical for any refund on PayPal Credit. You're not liable for any payments on the credit amount or interest, but, for it to go away completely, three months on PayPal Credit.
I'm going to call PayPal again, to get a 2nd opinion, just want to make sure the answer is the same & if so, I may refuse delivery, not too pleased with the runaround with Razer, no phone support for orders, just chat & email.

I was gonna refuse shipment,but,after another call to PayPal,refunds aren't "instant" after refusing shipment,as I was told earlier today.
At minimum,not until the returned merchandise is actually received by Razer & probably guessing a few days tacked on to that.
My reasons for returning were two-fold:
1) Not pleased with the lack of telephone call support for order issues.
2) Ordering from the Microsoft store would save on state sales tax (none for me,YMMV depending on which state you reside).
The savings on the sales tax,while it is a decent amount,in my case $56,isn't worth the extra hassle of returning it to Razer & awaiting the refund process.
My angst w/Razer will subside by tomorrow & as if I'm gonna refuse delivery on a new toy,LOL.................. :laugh:

wow that is pretty confusing. it looks like it was on a later shipment, and looks like it went straight to AK. then somehow made a trip to China and back to AK.(in a matter of hours) Maybe all these orders overwhelmed Fedex. Yours shows red but says it's been released. Our travel info is completely different too.
* after reading all the confusing wordage again, it almost seems like it was scanned for AK destination before it left, but then got held in China to get proper documentation, so it wouldn't have the same problem ours did.

Same story. But ordered two phones. They were delivered from California for less than 24 hours by DHL express.
Although I have not ordered any special shipping service.

I also came from my good old Nexus 6 to OP5T
I still think Nexus 6 the best Google phone ever made. Had zero issues with it for 3 years.
I'm not a student so I cant buy it with the discount ( or there's another way? ) anyone o had bought it without the discount can share how much has paid?

I bought mine on the release day and received it on Black Friday (which is no special day in Canada). Paid about $740, used a referral code from a friend.
Very happy with it. It works perfectly on Public Mobile (which doesn't sell phones and expects you to have one unlocked, though Telus-locked phones will work).
IIRC there was only one shipping choice, DHL (yuk) and the phone shipped from California HST-paid so it didn't stop at customs.
