Hi thanks for the comment this does not work on Oreo as of yet their are several camera issues in Oreo but think the guys over a LOS 15 have got it working for our device using SNAP.

iam using AICP rom in my moto g3 now. can i know which camera is the best to flash with this or any other rom, with all the new features like slow motion ,auto hdr etc.
Firstly, I think its not right place for Moto G3.
secondly, I can suggest you camera from Meizu/flyme os, that I found quicker/fastest camera ever on moto G series phone. find from link below...

Bro I have Moto G3 as well can you please tell me how can I root my phone safely?
So I flashed AEX 5.1 and I noticed the picture quality of front facing camera has degraded a lot. I used to get pretty okayish selfies on stock but it had gone downhill on custom ones.
My question is if there's any app that can substitute for ZUI camera in terms of selfies?

Do we just have to install the Gcam mod's apk file in an oreo rom ? I am using the pixel experience rom could you pls tell me how to use Gcam mod ? ( i have a rooted the device via magisk )

Download, install (like you do for a normal apk.) And use in the way you want.

PreRequisites:
Magisk[15+] installed
EMUI(Not Tested. It will replace Stock Camera may be) or AOSP ROM
Do Backup before Doing AnythingInstructions:
Open the Magisk Manager
Switch to Modules Tab
Click on Add option
Navigate to choose the P20 Pro Camera Magisk.zip and wait for it to flash.
Again open Magisk Manager --> Add module --> libs for 9 lite.zip[This step is only for Custom ROM users]
Reboot and enjoy

when i install this module, my device goes to bootloop

It only works on Android Pie
yup there is green tint with front cam ………...hope new version fixes that

Try to describe your error first.

it would work only on PIE rom.
Did you see this thread? That worked fine for me in Lineage 15. (Oreo)
