Anyone else having issues with MMS?
I heard Textra works but can't get it to function right.
No one else is having this issue?

So I'm still trying to get used to my new galaxy but I'm having a problem. Whenever I take a screenshot and try to send it to anyone through MMS, they can't receive it because the file is too large. I've checked and the file gets compressed to 23kb. All of the people I have tried sending to are also on T-Mobile so that's not the problem. Has anyone else had this issue and found a way to fix it? I never had this problem on my Sensation.

Ehh. I’m not a fan. It just seems like it should be something that would work out of the box. I haven’t even gotten around to rooting it yet.

Your screen is too awesomer for your friends' phones. They're not worthy enough to see it.
Currently using Energy rom, and had to run the apn fix on it to get mms working. My buddy sends me guitar riff ideas, and they normally come in as amr files, but somehow they are being converted to qcp now as I receive them. Nothing on his end has changed, just mine. Anyone else ran into this? Would have posted this in the thread for the rom, but wanted to know if this was a more broad issue with the mms trouble we have with multiple roms, so went for the general section.

I know there was a thread on this before, but for some reason I can't find it. Currently I'm using Frosty JB V1 and I know it's not the rom issue it's a general issue.
When I receive MMS from people it shows the picture like it's a video but it's obviously just a picture. Can someone direct me to the thread that has the resolution for this?

Correct. It's how the stock app works for whatever reason. Go SMS doesn't have that issue.
I rooted and used the [ROM][JB 4.2.1] XenonHD RC2.1 (30.11.12) download. Everything is working awesome, fast, etc etc. Except my MMS. Since the new ROM I can't send or receive any.
Does anyone have a fix or idea for this? I was going to ask in the thread for the ROM but I am a noob and don't have enough posts yet.

I went and checked that out. I am not having problems with my SMS. Those are working just fine. My internet and everything else is working fine too. Only the MMS isn't working which from what I've found means I need to edit the APN settings.
Same problem here can't send mms using T-Mobile with unlimited data

I changed some of my APN settings and am getting intermittent MMS's sending and receiving. But it's still messed up.
Does anyone have a problem when people reply in groups the HTC 10 stock app adds your telephone number twice?
It will for example first time XXX-XXXX and then on the next reply it'll add another XXX-XXX-XXXX. If you use a different app it completely stops.

I would suggest using Google Messenger for texting. I had a bunch of problems with group texting on the regular app and just switched over.
That's what I did. I switched to another app and it works fine after that. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something else conflicting with the stock app or not.
