The case quality is really good, fits well & it doesn't add bulk (around 1mm thick), it feels great in hand & it ads more grip to the phone.
Highly recommended if u want a tpu case.
Think I'll order a second one (black) cos mine is the clear black case (semi transparent) & I think the full black one will make the device look better with all those black edges & corners.

I guess TPU cases get better as they go as this one is the best Ive used so far

just ordered one from eBay....wasn't sure which colour should get...but decided to get the solid black at the end

TPU Bumper?

So I've been looking for a TPU bumper for a while, and all I've seen are normal cases which have a back. I'm looking for one thats just a bumper and without a back. currently i have an aluminum bumper on my OPO but i dont like it much because of the sharp corners and slipperiness.
Anyone know of any tpu bumpers out there?

this isnt a bumper though. its a case with a clear back. plus according to reviews, theres a gap between the lip and the bezel of the device which doesnt look that great, and the back clear plastic scratches really easily :/

I know its not a true bumper im saying its the closest thing we got lol

I think there are no TPU bumpers available because they do not hold to the edge without slipping often. Just imagine you put a rubber band around the edge of the phone and taking it in and out of your pocket.

this is unfortunate. i think it is possible to make one though. the nexus 4 has a bumper and its completely round lol. plus rhinoshield had a model for it, they just never went through with making it.

I have been looking for one as well. I thought about getting that Orzly Fusion mentioned earlier in the thread and seeing if I could separate the back from it. I love the feel of my sandstone back, and don't want to cover it.

Looks like that might work. I think if you used a dremel cutting wheel and left a little of the clear lip around the back it might work really well.

I have one and you should be able to do that, however, it does seem like the back would be loose which means you might have to either cut the plastic from the outer edge which can be a hard job and leave some plastic left on the inside to cover the slack or fill in the slack with something else, either way it is achievable but you do risk losing £10

I don't think anything exists that is a bumper case that isn't made out of some kind of metal.

There are quite a few metal bumper case for OPO on Ebay and and Indian Ecommerce site flipkart, but I don't want a metal one.

Bumper case

I have this phone and I just recently bought dbrand skin, but would like a bumper case with no back on it. Meaning just the outside edges only. Anyone know of where there could be one?

I'm also looking for one... subscribing. I had one on my HTC 10 that I really liked (RhinoShield CrashGuard) - but they don't seem to make them for LG phones. Looking for something similar to that. Please update if you find one!

Im trying to find one too if not i might order a really flexible cristal clear case and put it on or maybe order one of the "bumper" cases that have a tranparent back and just cut the back

I doubt the thin blue frame would be that secure without the case? I could be wrong. If anyone finds one update this thread, they can have my money in a heartbeat.

I'm not a fan of the clasp closing one's and I'd prefer a more robust silicone with a big lip but as it's all we have I may give it a go. Have you ordered one?

I've had that type of case on my honor 8 (the last one posted in silver and black).
It was terrible. Not a real bumper, and it's so deep I could hardly get my finger in the hole to unlock it.
Maybe this version will be better, I'm not sure, I haven't used it, but I certainly would not recommend it.

I would love to see a RhinoShield bumper even on G6, sadly they only make them for galaxy and iphone..

I actually found one with a back that feels and looks HELLA AMAZING, I also was looking for one with no back line the rhino sheild but I would easily give up the open back for the this case ( I-Balson bumper case for lg g6)

I'm also looking but can't find one even on aliexpress.

The cheapest and best looking case I've gotten so far for my U11+

I ordered 2 of these cases via Amazon a few weeks back, they have finally arrived.
Fit seems great, buttons are tactile enough, and it looks like that full coverage screen protectors will be fine too. happy with how this looks and fits so far, especially for the $!

Which case did you purchase?
I don't like the yellowing on TPU clear cases but agree that the device color is too nice to hide.
I would love to find a matte frosted case not on eBay or that doesn't take a month to ship.

Yeah it does.
TBH i've yet to come across a case (on the 11 or the 11+) that edge sense DIDNT work with.
They would have to be [pretty ill fitting or have an uncommon design for it not to work.

Excellent case (it's like a replica of the Spigen Rugged Armor).

Got my XLevel transparent tpu cover today and I really liked it, quality is top notch, the back is transparent enough to see the translucent u11+ back, the sides are opaque but very grippy, the cover protects about 1.5mm above the screen too which is good enough and better than cheap tpu covers I had on u11

Rhinoshield bumper case

Just got my bumper case for the phone! Not really worth the review as these cases act the same on all phones.
So, as it relates to the Pixel, I got the white to match my phone which it does perfectly. Got the extra key covers in multiple colors and of course they fit perfectly. The case itself fits exactly right on the phone with the only exposed cutout being for the USB-C slot. Feels secure on the phone and clearly will not come off easily.
Overall an excellent match to the phone! Highly recommend

Also just received mine. Equally as satisfied as you are. Same white phone/white case combo.
Also looks great on the pixel stand.

Do you have tempered glass on your phones? Does the case cause the glass to lift if you do? That was one of my issues with the Otterbox Defender case. It fit so tight that it caused to glass to lift on the bottom corners.

I do not have a
screen protector on mine.

What does that mean?

Not unless you actually pull on it. It's a very snug fit. It's nice to actually feel the back of the phone in your hand. I had a clear case before and it's much more secure now with only the bumper since the phone itself has a good texture on the back

Shockingly Mitch, your not the only person on the planet with the new case so he wasn't actually only talking to you!

My Pixel 1 experience was that the feel of the rhinoshield bumper case had a slick feel (i.e. not grippy). Does anyone have any opinions on how the feel compares to prior Pixel versions of the bumper case. Thanks.

They textured it so it helps a bit but its still slick. I added grip tape to my 2 XL one and have now added it to the 3 XL.
