Rooting J2 Prime smg532g - Samsung Galaxy J2 Questions & Answers

Hi everyone i have a problem regarding the root of my android phone. Indeed it's a J2 prime smg532g model and i couldn't root it after having used nearly all the roots app without using computer. I followed methods for rooting my model but it didn't worked. If you guys know any rooting method for this android model without computer let me know . Also, i am gonna buy a new android phone in case i can't root my actual phone, I wanted to know who are the best phone models for rooting successfuly (using one click root apps like kingroot, kingoroot, iroot etc...) thanks for your help

[Q] AT&T SCH-i467 to root or not to root

As the title states I have an AT&T Note 8.0 SGH-i467. I understand the concept of rooting but I am totally afraid to do it. From reading other posts, I am gonna go out on a limb and ask can my Note 8.0 can be rooted?? I understand the concept of having superuser access and being able to do all kinds of customizations but basically I just want to be able to use all of my apps in multiwindows. Then I found this thread on how to (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1985240) modify apps yourself but again, I am afraid to do that or I don't think I am that tech savvy to accomplish this. So my questions:
1) Do I want to root my tablet just to have all apps open in the multiwindow and take the chance??
2) Do I want to give it a try and just modify the apps I use most?? (Seems easier than rooting)
I love my Note 8.0. It is the best thing in my opinion. If I was able to use it as a phone like the 5100 I would not even be using my Note 2 phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi
just install CWM recovery and backup your unrooted rom.
then root your rom or install new rom or anything you want.
if you don't like it jast restore your recovery.
Since SGH-I467 has a locked bootloader, rooting it is a challenge. Originally I was not going to do it knowing the difficulties, but when a file explorer complained it couldn't write to the external SD card without root, I know I must root it.
Please be aware SGH-I467M (note the ending M) is a different animal. The Canadian version's bootloader is UNLOCKED, and thus rooting it is a breeze!
With my SGH-I467 I tried many different methods. Finally I was able to root it using Kingo Root (not Kingroot). Kingo Root is actually a one click rooting method. Just proceed with the instruction by the program.

Rooting Polaroid MID0714

Hello
Today I bought a MID0714 Polaroid tab, and now I want to root it. (For the super user apps)
I've tried alot of methods, Framaroot, Kingo Android...but they all don't work
Kingo Android tells me that it rooted sucsessfully, but when I use Root Checker it tells me "not rooted"
Framaroot just tells me that my device doesnt support the exploit
Does that mean my device is impossible-root?
Is there alternative softwares/apk to install root with?
(OS: Android 4.1 ICS)
Thank you
NEVERMIND! I just needed to finalize the root, since my device is Rockchip based.
Mod close please
Root mid0714
Hi, i've bought the same tablet.
Please, could you explain me the procedure to follow to root this tablet?
As you, Framaroot tells me that my device doesnt support the exploit.
Thank you
(Sorry for my english)

I've managed to root the same tablet as follows :
1st go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2066041
and use the ABD drivers u can download there for your tablet, because when you connect your tablet to your computer with USB Debugging turned ON, you need to install some drivers.
after this, I could root it with Kingo android root (You need to click on Root 2 times after connecting your device)

Rooting the phone is really easy, infact you can do it without even using a PC (towelroot). At the moment there is no custom recovery, but hopefully we will see that change once the phone is released in more countries (later this week).
As for unroot, one simple method would be to re-flash stock, but I assume you are looking for an easier solution than that.
That's what I am looking for too because of the bloody Barclays Bank app.
I want to root my LG G3, block ads, bloatware etc and then unroot to get Barklays app working
S4min, Grand 2, Note 2 - I always rooted phones and then unrooted by uninstalling root in SuperSu app.
Is there any similar method for LG G3?
Re-flashing to unroot doesn't make sense for me cos I will loose everything I needed the root for

I don't have my G3 yet to check (and not sure I will be rooting it straight away when I do get it, I want to see how far I can go without root first), but I cannot see why the unroot method in SuperSU would not work.

Flashing back to stock should take you back as if you have never rooted. Assuming all you did was root the phone.
If/when there are further modifications such as unlocking bootloader and flashing custom recovery images this might change.

i guess you didnt really spend much time looking? as i just googled your device with the word root, and a mass amount of links for your device, and how to root it, popped up. for example http://lifeatsamsung.com/root-samsung-galaxy-j3-2016/
That's an ATT device with a locked bootloader...and cannot be rooted. the link posted is for the international version.
