I have searched any feedback from Chinese forum and have not been provided with any negative feedback on this room. I have asked what MD5 is for this rom and none replied to me.

looking good so far...
But I can't open z17 for file transfer using usb yet (allthough I could select the option, it just doesn't seem to work)
so now transfering open gapps aroma using bluetooth... seems to take forever...
---------- Post added at 07:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:11 AM ----------
ok, looks like it took some time, but I'm now seeing the z17 as nx563j for file transfer, and copied aroma from this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/gapps-opengapps-oreo-unofficial-t3681960
it seems to be installing... btw, Oreo is FAST!

No sound via Bluetooth

Have you tried enabling media on the Bluetooth device in the settings?

just about to head to the car... I'll see if I can hook up using bluetooth, and will report back... don't have my beats bluetooth headpones at home ATM...
All issues I had that I know of have magically disappeared with Oreo it would seem

looks like bluetooth is idd not working... I keep getting the messages that bluetooth stopped working...

bugs:
1, the sound can't played via the bluetooth.
2, the nfc switch is buggy, when you reboot your phone the nfc is working. But if you turn the NFC off, then it's dead until next reboot.

Thank you very much for your reply. I have download Gapps mini or full version for 8.0. Hopefully either of them works. Personnally I don't want to install full version, but sometime the mini version doesn't work.
The rom by arceoxis is always equipped with Google Play which is fatastic.

I have tried LOS15 and it works. but not very really wanted. I removed it within 15 minues because the brightness cannot be adjusted.

The auto brightness adjustment is broken, you have to adjust it manual.

Found another bug, the build-in camera always in landscape mode, can't auto rotate.

I tried installing nubia camera, but it doesn't seem to work... There are many programms that seem to fail to run... Not sure what the exact reason is... Is Oreo so different that programms need to be rebuild for it?

I have already downloaded the same. But little apprehensive before flashing it. I can share the link with you.
But before flashing, i just wanted to make sure,
1. dash charging works
2. Can use the @Grarak TWRP to flash
3. Can use the @Yash98 debloater which he created for OP2.
Still looking for these answers.

Post the link... U also need modded twrp to flash it
I would also want to try Hydrogen OS on OP3, hope it totally supports English. Anybody with the download link and procedure on how to install it.
I just tried installing it. I couldn't boot it though. The error I was getting, "Need to add google account" which I had already added.
The setup language is English, however the help text which appears are in Chinese. It still has quite a lot of Chinese characters on the keyboard as well.

Thanks to @Yash98 for the debloater and @Grarak for the TWRP.
The steps I followed:
Boot into TWRP (Grarak) and go to Wipe then Swipe to factory reset
Flash in this sequence:
1. ROM (OnePlus3Hydrogen 16 OTA 005 all 1606081524 a0822b4f73da4596): Link in the above post
2. Debloater+SuperSU (H2OS_MM_DBLOATR+SuperSU.zip) - Thanks to @Yash98. (Please look in Official Hydrogen OS post in OnePlus 2 forums)
3. Open G-Apps (I've used Nano)
Enjoy.

Dash charging did work
I used Graraks twrp to flash it
Debloater did not try.
It has permission issues, permissions apps should have are not present in the system (onedrive does not have the media permission available, play services did not have a few as well after flashing google services in twrp)
standby battery life was freaking amazing. If permissions get sorted, I will DD it in a heartbeat

Failure of audio and video lineage OS

Hello everyone, 3 weeks ago I am testing lineage 14 for android 7.1.2 and Resurrection Remix, and except for the problem I have in the videos on both OS, I am very happy with this version. The case is that I fail the playback of the videos that goes very slow and jerks and the audio you do not hear anything. I just recently failed to install the versions both from browsers and playing from local files. I searched the net for hours and found no solution. With moboplayer and marking "software solution" I got the image to reproduce well but still the sound fails to hear anything. Lately the computer also does not detect the phone when I connect it by USB and yes when I start with TWRP. any solution? Thank you in advance for your help.
I've also got the Problem now: No Audio anymore and Video Playback is lagging.
I'm on LineageOS 8/21/17, I already did a dirty reflash to try to fix it but it didn't work.
Edit: I seem to have audio in Games and in sometimes in my Browser (Brave Browser). Video Playback is also sometimes working in Brave.
Youtube, Spotify, Google Play Music and Instagram (Apps) do not work properly.

Try other USB cable, also try other USB port, better on back because it connected to motherboard. For solving that problems with audio and video you need to update firmware.

There is no problem with 28th build, only problem can be with firmware version...I am using firmware included in to Global dev Miui 9, and everything is good...

Tahnks to hsss1231
Solution:
I found a way to solve it.
1. root mi 5s
2. download 'buildprop' from play store
3. Probably the first 'audio.deep_buffer.media' in 'AUDIO' is 'True'
4. Change 'True' to 'False'
then the problem is solved.

Do I get it right, this basketbuild-firmware-thimg is not connected to the actual LineageOS-ROM? If yes, any other people out there who can tell me how and if that works? I'm running on LOS 15.1 (Android 8.1) and this "audio.deep_buffer.media" doesn't appear.

Try adding it in. Though we've discovered the solution to this issue is generally mismatching firmware (especially with Xiaomi devices since they seem to change or recompile their code frequently)

THIS SOLUTION WORKS but it has to be written more clearly.
NO DATA LOSS - NO NEED TO CHANGE ROM - NO NEED FOR ALTERING PROP FILE
You need to have a custom recovery (TWRP etc.)
1. Download the latest firmware (or anyone you like) from the link. https://basketbuild.com/devs/yshalsager/Xiaomi-Firmware/Stable/V9/Global/capricorn
2. Flash it using custom recovery. THATS IT!
This does not effect your current rom it only changes some files (as you can guess grom the size of file)

Well if you like risking a hard brick you can download that file, rename it update.zip and put it in the folder downloaded_rom. Then go to the miui updater app and it should see it as an update and the installation will start. The problem is that if you are on locked bootloader without TWRP and the flash goes wrong you can throw away your phone...

No risk, no fun... I used the option in the updater and it doesn't allow me to install it. Probably because I need special privileges... In any case, these are excellent news for custom ROMs
Edit: previous to the installation of the .ZIP it asks me to be connected to the internet... It can't be connected without being connected to the internet. So definitely they check if the user is allowed to install it.
Anyways. Anyone using the ROM can give some feedback, please?
Installed by twrp and running perfect ... for now no failure
routed with magisk 16.0
So installed last TWRP, wiped all data and storage for decryption, all went ok, inastalled oreo beta rom and magisc 16, during booting phone first get encrypted again and then rom boots up. Restarting back to TWRP is asking for password again to decrypt phone. So because of that I get back to nougat and TWRP 3.1.1.0 because that is only one that is not asking password. So please help and inlight me what I was doing wrong.

Edit: previous to the installation of the .ZIP it asks me to be connected to the internet... It can't be connected without being connected to the internet. So definitely they check if the user is allowed to install it.

You have to be in the Beta Team to install those packages with the updater app. The method the Super Moderator recommended me is fastboot because it's an android version update. The ROM worked fine in the first day , no important bug that can prevent it to be a daily driver.

Nope. It's based on Demon000's trees that will be the official LOS ones.
Dual sim is not working on this rom. Process crashes on phone
Good Rom. dual sim works fine. with 1 to 2 hrs of test use. i found no uses in the roms.
This rom lacks immersive mode for few apps like skype ...... we will see back bar at the bottom even if immersive mod enable.
have switch back to rom with support for complete immersive mod.
I hope we will see more from the developer in the future update for immersive mod.
Thanks for the rom
....... MTP ......not working......
I'm having trouble with magisk. Every time i try to flash it the phone reboots back into recovery.
Happens when flashing right after rom flash and also after clean rom flash.
Any ideas why this is?
there is one problem, unstable works MTP

Thanks, missed that info.
The installation proccess works as you discribed and the rom runs great. I went to back to TWRP and produced a back, no error no problem. Later when I tried to use the TWRP back file, it did not boot up..
I flashed the rom zip file and no problem, rom boot up. But when I start up some apk most of them gave error.
I missed something?
Yeah this rom gives more app crashes and some thing are broken like theme colors. Also missing gamma conrol.
But will be better with updates i hope. Still the best rom for me.
cant connect to the PC. PCwont recognize

N975F (DBT) - N975FXXU3CTC9 (rooted) - no TWRP - cannot connect Samsung Galaxy Watch?

Hi team,
before N975FXXU3CTC9, I had N975FXXS3BTB9 (with TWRP).
Since TWRP is not compatible with UI2.1-FW, I had to use root w/o TWRP.
Everything's working, but I cannot connect my Smartwatch (Samsung Galaxy 46mm w/o LTE).
I can connect Jabra Elite 65 in-Ears and Samsung Galaxy Buds+ without probs, but only the Smartwatch is not completing the pairing in the Wearable App. I tried so much ... but I'm lost
Do you have an idea, what I can do?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Kangaroo
How you can use root without TWRP ?
Best regards
Hi EagleSoldier,
I flashed a patched stock-fw, 'cause the latest fw isn't compatible with TWRP :-|
+1
I flashed latest magisk patched firmware with odin, but also got bluetooth connection issues. Cant connect to any other device including to my gear fit 2 sadly
Hope someone got a solution soon
Cheers.

If we can chat in a messenger, let me know via PN.
For others, we're holding up the thread, indeed.

Where did you find the patched stock fw? Or how did you patch it?
I have downloaded the latest stock with Freja, transferred it to my N10+, and patched it in Magisk Manager.
After patching, I flashed it with odin.

For S-Health I have a fix. Will post later.
Bringing up S-Health again ...
Install BuildPropEditor from PlayStore, start it and look for ro.config.tima = 0. Switch that value from 0 to 1 and reboot your phone.
S-Health will work again.
For the Watch-BT-Issue, I'm working with a high experienced guy from the other side of the planet. We tried everything up to now, but before I'm switching back to UI2.0-FW, I will wait one more week ...

In N975FXXU3CTC9 (xeo) is the same problem. I fight with this.. all day and nothing
@david1350
To fix the watch issue, you have to swap the manifest.xml (attached)
Put it here ... /vendor/etc/vintf/manifest.xml
But keep the permissions.
Good luck, k72
