14.1 - How do i sync/backup the gallery automatically? - LineageOS Questions & Answers

I have activated app-data syncing with my gmail account, but my photos still aren't being synced like they used to before i installed LineageOS.
The gallery app itself does not have any kind of options / settings menu as far as i can see.
It's a hassle to manually upload or share images when i want to share them.
How do i get my photos to sync every time it is on a non-mobile internet connection?

Contact(s) Photos Won't Sync With FB

Photos on Contact (That Already Sync To FB Account) Was Not Sync-ing.
So Contact(s) Photos Display Nothing. I've Already Try With "Infinite" Button, But It Doesn't Affect Anything.
Note: All of My Contacts in Phonebook Display it Photos Synced With FB Before. But Later, I Logged Out My FB Account, And Then When I Logged In With My FB Account, All Of Contacts Photos Synced With FB Was Gone.
I Think Theres Some File Which I Must Delete To Recover The Setting To Retrieve Photos With Infinite Button, But I Don't Know Which Files I Must Delete.
Is There Anybody Experience This Problem?
Please Help ...
Do you have the facebook app set to sync in the settings menu?
Menu > Settings > Accounts and sync > ensure that FB is set to sync. Appologies if you have already checked this.
Already Done It
Wheter With Mobile Internet Connection (3G) and WiFi (High Speed) Still The Photo Of Contacts Won't Load.
ok, here's what i did, i removed all FB accounts. re add, and re authorized.
next make sure your Contact app has been configured to display contacts synced via SE Facebook Integration (click the icon with 3 persons at the top left of the Contacts app).
by the way, i believe you can actually view the contacts FB status from Contacts list, but apparently this is not happening.
anyone able to help?

Picasa, get out of my gallery

Ok, so I'm sick o my picasa albums showing up in my gallery. And under accounts and sync I turned of the picasa syncing as well but they are still there.
Is there a way to remove them? I also tried to delete the google account off my phone then re add it and quickly uncheck the picasa web album sync but I can't be fast enough haha.
I know there's a solution! Help me!
Thanks!
Go into Accounts & Settings -> Your Gmail -> Uncheck Picasa Sync [you already did this].
Go into apps and find gallery. Clear cache and data.
Reopen gallery, you're good to go.
This should work:
- Settings / Accounts & sync / your google account / uncheck Sync Google Photos
Then:
- Settings / Apps / All / Gallery / Clear data, then Force Stop
just tried both of those things didn't work

Click to collapse
Same for me...
can anyone offer some help here?
Yep,
Go to Apps and click on Google+
Click on uninstall updates.
Go to Accounts and Sync and check if Sync Google Photos is ticked or even present. Make sure it isn't.
(If you're using google+ continue reading)
Go to the Google+ app
Log in but make sure you do not choose Instant Upload
After logging into the app, go to setting and double check if the Instant Upload setting aren't ticked. Then go the Account and Sync and check there as well if Sync Google Photos isn't ticked.
Go to Gallery to confirm the Picasa albums are gone.

Looking for a two-way WiFi sync (Android/Mac) for the gallery

The USB connection on my Mac works fine with the little tool, but I would rather have some kind of wireless magic.
This is what I wish for: I'm coming home, my Nexus says "hello" to my WLAN and checks every X minutes if my Mac is active. If yes, start the two-way sync for the whole gallery – that means camera photos, screenshots, WhatsApp images and so on are transferred to my computer and new images are moved over to the phone.
If WiFi is disabled, the phone is in a foreign WLAN or my Mac is not reachable, the Android app should sleep.
There are a few apps, but I haven't seen the perfect solution. Take for example …
Dropsync: Multiple folder sync in the pro version. This seems very nice for Dropbox sync and should work with some aliases on the Mac to my Dropbox folder, but I have the extra step with the cloud in between.
doubleTwist AirSync: Looks nice, but I have no clue if it can be configured to run in the background (Android and Mac).
There are a few more apps with a PC background service which are unsuitable for me.
Is there a "nice and easy" app?
I use Google + and Picasa. The new Picasa desktop client syncs Google + galleries.
I have my phone set up to sync pics to G+, and my Mac syncs the G+ pics to the desktop client.
I would have opted for Picasa & Google+, but I can't get it to sync all folders on Android and the desktop app is a horrible mess with graphic problems on my Mac (Snow Leopard). :/ Or am I just too stupid?
So … this seems to be an unsolvable Problem.
I have all of my Picasa photos synced with Google+ - so everything I add to Google+ (Instant Upload to a PRIVATE gallery) gets synced over to Picasaweb. If I ever need my photos, I just grab them from Picasaweb. I don't keep photos saved offline because I have 20gb of storage on Google's servers (only $5/year - so cheap). Plenty of storage for docs, photos, etc.

[Q] Cannot delete Picasa albums

So all of a sudden today my LOG decided to start syncing with Picasa which i was not even aware i had an account for. It only synced a few photos but it will not allow me to delete or hide the albums under the gallery settings. I have already gone under the sync options and my goggle account and turned off the ability for it to sync with Picasa but even after disabling that option and re-syncing the entire account the pictures still will not go away. Can anyone tell me how to remove these? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
This is most likely because you have a Google+ account. If you don't remember uploading any pictures to it, check if instant upload is enabled on your phone. As for deleting the pictures, you'd have to either log in to your Google+/Picasa account online and then delete them form there or download the application and delete them from there. Very inconvenient for sure but that's the way to do it!

Honor 7x won't sync automatically

So at first I thought it was restricted to my photos but then I realized that the phone isn't syncing across all apps unless I open the app itself (while on wifi). So for example, I have the phone set to backup my snaps only on wifi, it won't actually do the backup when I do connect to wifi unless I open up the photos app.
The same applies to google keep, contacts, firefox sync... etc... Any idea why this is happening and how to make it more automated (like seriously? I have to go into each app I want to back up for it to actually sync??)
Phone rarely goes into battery saving mode. I also went in Accounts to make sure all the apps are switched to syn and they are (firefox, which hadn't synced for days, synced just as I checked that setting- a clear example of what's is wrong).
On the other hand, google photos doesn't even show up in the sync settings of my main gmail account but does in my secondary. I wonder if that's why this is happening...
BND-L21 running EMUI 8
On settings -> accounts ->google in menu option having " Sync Data is on" just check it.
