Is it possible to Split screen of our Note 2 to make it compatible with VR ?? like the new lenovo k4 note have VR mode feature which splits the screen into two ..

Nope. That has to have a support from the ROM itself and stock Android doesn't support it yet in mm

It's my understanding that for a phone to be VR compatible it must have a compass or magnetometer and the G4 has neither.

U r worng, gyroscope sensor is need for vr; magnetometer is helpful in navigation stuffs.

3rd party apps weren't perfect and not even in case of Lenovo phones
So if there please attach a link or how to contact OnePlus to tell them to add theatre mode in upcoming update

It works but no hdr and portrait
If hdr not working fine.but why portrait mode not working
i am facing an issue in using google camers in my samsung galaxy A50. if any of you can help me use this awasome app in my smart phone.
no variant of Google camera works with Samsung a series properly.. . so instead use pro shot or cortex camra
