You can't download/install it from Google Play because you don't have a compatible device. It doesn't work on the 10. You'll have to wait for someone to make a modified version, if that's even possible

HTC U11+ smart display port to U11
I downloaded it from dropbox. But couldn't install. The App is available on apkmirror as HTC Smart display 1.00.1003716. I'm not able add the link. Otherwise I would have added the link to the apk file.
I tried installing it. It installs but doesn't appear in the app drawer. Can somebody port the app to HTC U11?
Thanks

If you're running a U11 this is the wrong section of the forum.
But to answer you question, there's no need to port it to the U11. If on Oreo you can install it from PlayStore. But you won't be able to change any settings, as the submenu in settings will be missing. Further more you'll only have wake up when lifting it up, but no AOD. AOD is implemented kernel-wise into the panel driver and AOD won't work properly with the U11s panel, as it's panel driver doesn't support AOD.
Sent from my HTC U11 using XDA Labs

So no chance to use it on HTC 10?

AOD works with oreo aosp roms on the 10, but haven't used the smart display apk yet and stock oreo feature is a little bit buggy in aosp roms right now

So do this Smart display will work with Nougat HTC 10 im using Viper Magisc version.
Thanks

Yes I know that it works on the 10, using AOSP ROMs, thanks.
I've been referring to the U11, as it seems the user posted in the wrong section and is actually using the U11 instead of the 10. On the U11 I know that what I said is legit.

Hidden System UI Tuner/Quick Toggles customization feature

Does anyone know if HTC 10 has the hidden system UI tuner quick toggles customization just like in Nexus marshmallow devices? Cause since they resorted with a stock notification grab, much like stock Android, does it have that or was it disabled by HTC so no quick toggles customization?
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
yeah, i wondered that too. i want to edit the quick setting. ?
most likely will be removed by htc, but can be easily re-added with a mod
I'm betting they removed it, which is a shame because that was one of the Marshmallow features I was looking forward to the most.
It's removed
Viper Rom is all you need for customization

if u have the device, you can send me SystemUI.apk, I will mod, then you can compare...it's not a simple flip of a switch, there's some code that needs to be edited
Why don't you root the phone, xposed, then gravity for mm and then tweak the quicksettings?

You'll gonna have to root your HTC 10 and install Xposed framework and the latest Sense toolbox once the one that is compatible for the 10 is out. But for some people doesn't like to root their phone. But if you do decide to, just keep in mind that unlocking the bootloader is covered by the warranty which is a good thing for modders.

For my A9 Sense toolbox does not work but Gravitybox does.
Ultimate solution is to reactivate native quicksettings

A user has to edit the systemui.apk in order to enable System UI Tuner.
This takes decompiling the apk, editing and recompiling. The custom ROMs that have it enabled, dev's have simply edited the apk and any necessary frameworks.
This isn't something you can do yourself unless you're familiar with recompiling apk's and editing smali etc.

Do you know any other way how I can hide them?

Sure do.
Install Xposed and GravityBox.
Fortunately Sense8 is really close to AOSP/stock so many (not all) of the features/mods work. I've cleaned up my quicksettings (instead of using System Tuner) and made a few changes to my statusbar with GravityBox.

Pixel icons in CM14.1 w/Pixelfy

Hey so, first of all I'm sorry this is probably the most stupid question but i've searched high and low for hours and cant find a way or an answer..
Has anyone been able to get full Pixel icons on CM 14.1 with the Pixel launcher? I've been using daleski's build (great work btw) with Pixelfy but the phone icon and play store etc are still from MM. I know I can use Nova launcher obviously but then its the tradeoff of losing swipe to google now. I've tried every other CM 14/14.1 build rooted and unrooted but not found any way to change icons beside CM theme engine which CM 14 and 14.1 don't have or using Nova etc.
Again, sorry for the stupid question but thanks in advance for any help
