Bestek multi port cigarette lighter adaptor - General Accessories

Hello again! So you might know by now I am always in the market for power supplies that will trigger fast charge on a Nexus 6P, Google Pixel or Pixel 2 device! Well I found this cigarette lighter adaptor from Bestek that supplies more than 2.4Amp to the USB port plus has 2 additional cigarette lighter female sockets for more connections!
There are some better pictures on ebay than I could possibly take, but found it for a much lower price on Amazon if you are interested in snagging one of these.
I just upgraded to a Pixel 2XL and was very interested in how well it can charge my new device. I was unaware that the Pixel 2XL actually kicks into charge overdrive when you turn off the screen. So it took a while to capture this image showing it supplying 2.7 Amps!

Add to this, the capability of supplying almost 5 Amps total, and being able to switch each side off and on independently! You have a 12V cigarette lighter socket and USB port per side! Plus you have a display telling you how much current is being used! You can't beat this for the price!

Portable Micro USB External Chargers without attaching cables?

I want something that will plug directly into a micro USB phone. I'm aware of the multitudes of this design:

I had one, thought it was garbage, it made an irritating noise both charging and discharging, its connection was hit and miss as bumping it might disconnect it, and eventually less than 6 months later it stopped working. It was advertised as a 2800mAh but its charge was extremely poor. Yet, those are the only type of chargers I can find, all from various companies using the exact same design.
The Motorola P790 is ideally the type of thing I'm looking for, it even comes with a slide out USB so it can't get damaged, but it's no good since it's a mini USB and would require packing around cords:
I'm not looking for a mega charger, one charge or so is fine as I'm not trying to carry around more than a second phones weight in a charger. I find it extremely odd that with so many phones out there, there hasn't been a decent micro USB charger without cords that I can find.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Short Review: iClever 50 watt 6 ports charger

The product was sent to me at a discounted price in exchange of a review, and this review is based on my own unbiased opinion.
So I needed a charger to use while travelling with many USB ports, and I found this charger from iClever that really seem's to be great.
The charger came in a plain box without much information, and inside of the box there was a manual, some information regarding their review program, a power cord and the charger itself. At first, I was surprised by how small this charger was and I really though it would perform badly, but I was wrong - it's the best charger I've ever owned.
So first of all, there's 6 different USB ports that can output up to 2,4amps - which means they're ideal for both phones and tablets. The charger have a feature similar to Ankers chargers, and that is a smart IC that monitors the charging and limits the output current for different devices.
So after using my XTAR power meter, I was able to get about 1,5 amps out while charging my phone - and that rate didn't decrease either after plugging in more devices. The voltage stays stable around 5v, and there's no dips down to 4volts.
So I've got no complaints really about this charger, and I really like this charger.

CHOETECH USB-C Wireless Charger (non fast charge)

EDIT: please no discount codes!
Hey guys I recently acquired a USB type C wireless charger from choetech which works great. I want to get into the details shortly to keep this quick and fast as it is the weekend!
Link to product:

I have compared this product vs the Samsung wireless charger. the horrible one they gave away last year and early this year. This one actually has enough space to charge the phone wirelessly at most angles. I have yet to notice a spot where it doesn't charge. Good job choetech.
I do have one slight bad comment is that I need a longer USB type C cable. Another bad thing is that I wish it was the USB type C fast wireless charger version but that isn't a big deal.
I noticed this regular wireless charger peaks at 730 mA. I did this study over night charging as I let my phone charge overnight in my living room table.

USB C dock/craddle

Hi guys,
I'm getting my Pixel 2 in few days and I'm currently looking at accessories on Amazon. I would like to get a dock/craddle to recharge overnight on my night stand. I don't believe I need fast charging/PD for that, since the Pixel will have all night to charge. Do you have any recommendations ? I can use my Google charger power brick if the dock doesn't come with one.
How much time does the Pixel 2 takes to charge anyway on fast and slow charge ?
Thanks,
Neo.
I looked into cradles and to be honest they are way too limiting. In order to use them, you have to put the phone into a slot so that it charges, it is fixed and not very flexible.
Instead, I use a mount called a Clutchit and a regular power cable.

With it, I can just place it on the mount, in any orientation (portrait, landscape or anywhere inbetween). It just holds it and it is very easy to take and put it back on without worrying if I got it into the slot correctly. It will even hold a tablet.
I use it with a 6ft cable to an original Pixel 2 charger plug and chargers in Rapid mode.
No association with them other than I own several of these.

True Quick Charge 3.0 adapter for my Samsung S8 Active!

This is a short review of a car charger from Tattu.
I've been looking for a new Quick Charge 3.0 compatible chargers since I do a lot of driving and while my Samsung S8 Active has the stock 4,000 mAh battery, I always like to keep it plugged in for emergencies. Quick Charge becomes a pretty much must and I've been having issues with my old charger so came across this product. It looked like any other charger out there but do like the dual port design but also the way the USB slot is angled so I find the USB-C cable to be in not in the way or have that unnecessary bend with most chargers. The head sticks out just enough but not too shallow so it's a perfect fit for my Subaru.

I did test and verify that this is Quick Charge 3.0 as in the past, I've found so called Quick Charge that charged as slow as a regular 1.0A charger. My S8 Active also recognized the quick charging capability and charged just as fast as the wall charger I have at home. I'll probably get another one as I have multiple devices in my vehicle and make it streamlined with a cigarette adapter.
The fit is great by the way, it doesn't wiggle or push out like the cheaper sockets that have a weak springs on the side. It's rock solid! Highly recommended product!
