Hello guys,
i want to update the new 2.2.1 Rom with Kies, i already installed the Kies registry Patcher v.1.7.0.0, because i live in Germany.
But if i want to update my Phone, i get this error message:

So i'd like to update a new rom, how can i do this?
Like in my question. Is there OTA update for UK generic or I'll just have to wait till it's released? My 2.3.3 phone is rooted and I don't want to lose it when updating via SEUS.
I'm on UK generic and no ota update for me yet
I flashed back to 2.3.2 and only get the first update not the 4.0 fw
Only a matter of time though I guess

Me too, patiently waits for the OTA update here, good thing they already released it yesterday.. I'm using UK generic too. TS, the availability of the OTA update depends on your place.
can someone confirm OTA update is available for the uk ?, i updated via pc companion and lost root but so I am waiting for OTA to become available

Yes i received the xloud update (4.0.a) last night over ota and root is still kept. Uk r800i.
If you flash 2.3.2 again then root and ota it will update you to the xloud firmware with root.
1 question do i have to unfreeze all bloatware before i can perform OTA for the new firmware 4.0?

Yes you do or else the update will think you have uninstalled them. Just make a list of what you have frozen. Unfreeze > ota to 4.0.a then refreeze whats on your list plus a few other new things.
I just received the upgrade via OTA i guess is to 4.0 since i already have 2.3.3 and the size is 78 mb. I downloaded it correctly, it try to update but after 3 reboots (normal reboots the phone does it itself) it says that could not update, does anyone nows why? I have a rooted Xperia Play and it isnt unlocked.
PD. Everything seems okay it didnt mess up anything, just didnt update correctly.

Same here on my GF Play, I just removed bloatware. Any help?
I've heard from several threads here that an update to 368 is available? Just want to confirm there is really a 145 -> 368 for Canada region?
When I check update from phone it just says "unable to connect to server", when I check from PC Companion it says "update server is inaccessible".
I'm still on the same version but get " there is no software update for your phone " message, CMON Rogers wake up.... I hate that cie.....
For me for the last 3 or so day I get on PC Companion that new version is available (4.0.2.A.0.42) and got once OTA but it told me I need to use computer.
Still trying to figure out if that version can be rooted.....
All the released firmwares to date can be rooted.
Any news on Rogers update availability?
hey guy i had a software update from ATT that i could only postpone and it was going to automatically update at 11pm tonght . i know this update will remove my root so what i did was removed the software update app with tibu and now the update notification is gone do u guys think my phone will still update.

And when im tryin to update via lg bridge he finda an update
But the connection always abort at the first step.
Can anybody help me pls i wait since 1 month on an update
