Connect your Pixel 2 XL to PC and open a Terminal/command line and enter the followings:
adb devices Enter
adb shell Enter
settings put global policy_control immersive.full=* Enter
Disconnect your device and you're set!

I know how to do it but you'll need "Root"!
1. Open a file manager (I use fx), and Grant root access
2. Mount system as rw
3. Edit build.prop
4. Add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" to the end of the build.prop file
5. Reboot !

If you have twrp and are stock, you can try flashing this.
There should be a restore zip on your sdcard in a folder called ozop if you don't like the results.

This is the best method, in my opinion. I went this route and have been using Pie Control for my navigation for over 2 months and it's been flawless.

that should not be ... is that the international version of B107?
try to make factory default, think that should work or try to reflash the B107 ...
good luck
Have disappeared because they match the folder path CUST.
First you must be ROOT
Second with Root Explorer app, go to the folder "data" and see the contents of custom.bin
Depending on the file custom.bin say, is as it should rename folders CUST.
For example if it says "Orange/dm", that means that inside the folder "CUST" the folder must exist "Orange" and within it another folder "dm".
If not there you can rename the folder "Channel" to "Orange" and within it you choose to rename the folder to "dm" much of the country that depends on where you live, could be renamed folder "namerica" to "dm" or "neeurope" to "dm"
Finally do a factory reset
Best Regards

Try installing B111 international rom and revert.
"custom.bin" method does not work. For some reason I have "unicom/cn" inside custom.bin. Tried to change custom to Orange/Dm does not work. Tried to rename Orange directory to "unicom" and dm Directory to cn does not work.
Anyway thanks

Of course, if it works, I've tried several times and if it works.
Maybe I did not understand the procedure.
I'll try to explain it better:
1. You must be ROOT
2. Having installed the app Root Explorer
3. Log in to Root Explorer and find the file custom.bin
4. You must remember the contents of this file.
5. Go to the root folder, using the Root Explorer
6. Go to the folder Cust
7. Rename the folders according to the content of step 3.
8. Perform Factory Reset
At no time should change the file contents custom.bin.
Best Regards
succed the process, but bring more painful problem.

How to enable Software Navigation Buttons and disable the soft keys?

Spotify Unlimited Skips [ROOT or ADB]

Hello, XDA! Today, I'll be showing you how to get unlimited skips/song select in Spotify on the OnePlus 5.
Code:
/*
If you are rooted or you have adb enabled and installed
on your computer, skip to the bold section of this post.
If you don't have this done or you don't know how to
do this, read the whole post.
*/
This will require root (root guide for OnePlus 5 here, I recommend using Magisk and not SuperSU.) or ADB.
To enable ADB, just scroll down in Settings to About phone, scroll all the way to the bottom and press Build Number 7 times; this will activate Developer Mode. Go back to the main page in Settings, Developer Mode is near the bottom. From Developer options, you can activate USB debugging (which is ADB). You can download Android SDK Platform-Tools from here. Extract the .zip, go into the folder named platform-tools, and open CMD or Terminal (CMD for Windows, Terminal for Mac/Linux) and drag ADB into the CMD/Terminal to run ADB.
Code:
adb shell
would be
Code:
(drag adb file here) shell
but would show up as something like
Code:
/Users/username/Downloads/platform-tools/adb shell
Once you have rooted or enabled ADB, you can download a new app called jOnePlus Tools [adb/root] from the Play Store. jOnePlus is a modding application for the OxygenOS 4.5.x.
When you open jOnePlus Tools, it will ask for SuperUser Rights (if you are rooted). Select Grant to allow it to 'change' the system. It will then bring up a message that says Permission Denied and it will tell you to grant WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS by running
Code:
adb shell pm grant net.jroot3d.joneplustools android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
over USB. You can either connect your phone to your computer over USB and enable USB Debugging and run
Code:
adb shell pm grant net.jroot3d.joneplustools android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
on the computer. If you are rooted, you can skip the whole ADB step; just press GRANT WITH ROOT.
Once you've enabled permissions with adb or root, press the gear icon near the top right, press General, and then Enable experimental features. Go back to the main screen of jOnePlus Tools and press the square-circle shape near the top-middle of the screen. Scroll to the bottom and press 4k (2160x3840). It will lag a bit for about 20 seconds at most. Close Spotify if open. Now launch Spotify. (If your home screen appears to be messed up or corrupted, DON'T FRET! It may be confused because your device is telling it a different resolution. This is temporary.) If you can't click on home screen icons correctly, you can hold the home button to launch Google Assistant and say Open Spotify. When you launch Spotify, it should allow you to have unlimited skips/song select. This is because your Spotify sees your screen size as 2160x3840, a tablet size. The tablet version of Spotify has unlimited song select and skips. Spotify only checks your screen size when it launches, so you can go back to jOnePlus Tools and put you resolution back at Full HD (1080x1920) Default. If you close Spotify, you may need to change your resolution back to 4k again before launching if you want unlimited skips/select (and then back to Full HD Default after launching).

[MOD] NavBar Gone. (Root)

I get a lot of requests to remove the NavBar. I'm posting this mod at each phone's forum themes section. TWRP flashable zip. Restore zip will be created in a folder named ozop on your sdcard.

Installation instructions for those of you that have root, but do not have TWRP. Busybox must be installed first.
1. Download the enclosed vrthemeADBversion zip and readme.txt for copying and pasting purposes.
2. Unzip the vrthemeADBversion zip to your sdcard. Rename folder to vrtheme
3. Put the readme.txt on your PC where you use adb.
4. Download appropriate NavBar Gone zip. Unzip and copy the system folder that is inside the vrtheme folder to the root of your sdcard.
5. On the root folder of your phone, find the data folder and create a folder inside it named tmp
6. Copy the vrtheme folder you earlier extracted to your sdcard to newly created data/tmp folder (/data/tmp/vrtheme)
7. On PC, with your phone connected and in file transfer mode, open CMD prompt and type "adb devices" without quotes. If your serial number comes up you can proceed.
8. Copy and paste the command lines from the readme.txt (include quotes)
adb shell su -c "mount -o rw,remount /system"
Hit enter
First time you will be promoted by SuperSU to give adb permission.
Copy and paste the second line in readme.txt
adb shell su -c sh /data/tmp/vrtheme/installtheme.sh
(If you would rather run a bat file and are on Windows, extract the ModInstaller zip where you adb is and run it instead of typing or copying and pasting the commands from the readme.txt)
Wait until everything runs, after a pause of a few seconds your phone will reboot and your NavBar should be gone.

I'm using LMT. Never thought I'd like it but in order to get this mod right, I had to try it. Now I like it. Took some getting used to.
I could put a invisible home button on the left side of your statusbar.
I use Swipe Navigation and love it. After a recent update caused it to stop working, I downloaded an older apk from the XDA thread and keep that on my device for emergencies.
Edit.. Should mention that the developer, @Splder released another update the same day that fixed the problem I had.
I also use swipe navigation and it works great. I got scared a bit because I updated it and it didn't work but i just needed to turn it back on and grant permissions again but other than that it's the best app to use if you want to get rid of the nav bar. Simple swipe up gestures from the bottom left, middle and right make it a breeze to use.

Not that I am aware of. I'm not really a power user and just went navbarless a couple of days ago. This zip will make a restore zip in a folder called ozop.
Thank you for the great mod. It was a shame that the option to remove the navbar from stock rom was no longer possible. It was the only thing that drove me to custom roms. Immersive mode is not that practical. I've been using either lmt or the pie controls from gravity box since KitKat and going back to using the navbar was impossible.
Thank you for this! Out of curiosity this will break SafetyNet, correct?

I appreciate the input. It is almost the same. There were complaints that the LMT navbar didn't come up smooth enough so I added and changed a few things. Nothing that would trigger something that one didn't.

I like the idea of the invisible home button in the status bar with the navbar removal...you think it could be flashed over that previous mod you made for me? Will this introduce lag like I experienced when I tried immersive mode? Im guessing not since it just removes it...

I like the idea of the invisible home button in the status bar with the navbar removal...you think it could be flashed over that previous mod you made for me? Will this introduce lag like I experienced when I tried immersive mode? Im guessing not since it just removes it...

Lol my fault...here's a link to the post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74048596&postcount=118
It also does center clock (in smallest text) and carrier text removal

You can try this. I had forgotten how convoluted my statusbar was so I'm not sure if the home button will work. Let me know.

How To Guide Add 90hz to settings

We are looking for the "marble.xml" file along the way.
/system/product/etc/device_features
Add lines.
<integer name="smart_fps_value">120</integer>
<integer-array name="fpsList">

90

120

60

</integer-array>
<integer name="defaultFps">60</integer>
Can you specify how to do it? Also does it need root?

Which app do we add those lines with? Via Mi text viewer? Or what? Also where do we paste them? On the finishing?

I recommend using the MT manager, it has its own text editor, to paste open the xml and look for 120, look for something related to hz and see if it will be necessary to add all the lines, or just the line related to 90hz
@Arcent I tried with multiple file managers (I have root permissions) but none of them allow editing or replacing the marble.xml file. Mt manager gives me error 'Remount RW failed /product'.

Just remount the partitions in r/w ( read write ) you can find recovery modules that do this

Unfortunately I won't be able to answer because I only do it via root, but you can try... At your own risk, the best thing would be to do it and then remove the root if you don't want to use it
Can you make magick module for that, because I can't edit system files with root too

Yes bro I do have root and magisk installed.
But I can't edit system files with root
That's why I asked for magisk module.
