Xenonmod bootanimation - Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Themes, Apps, and Mods

Now, I gotta say this: Xenonmod is not real, but I really am looking towards making a ROM. This will most likely the boot animation for it.

[Q] Just got my first smartphone. What now?

Alright, so I got a secondhand MyTouch 3G Slide yesterday off of Craigslist. I've never had a smartphone and I'm wondering what I should do now? I would like some custom boot animations I think. (Maybe the one from the original droid?) Also, general customization would be nice, but I dont care about overclocking or trying lots of roms. With that said, being able to upgrade to vanilla 2.2 (or even 2.3 but that seems doubtful with this processor) would be really nice.
My main priority is stability. I want everything to work right, all the time, without bugs.
So I just want to ask the experienced veterans here what my best options are to get custom boot animations, froyo (either vanilla or with sense), and utter bulletproof reliability where everything works as well as it does now.
I'm not an experienced veteran or anything, but you'll want to read these, I think.
[UTIL] New Root Method as of 8/13! -> UPDATED 10/18 for NOOBS! <-
and
The Slide Rom Bible *updated 9-8-2010*
Froyo Roms are towards the bottom of that first post.
Do you know if the device is already rooted?(Doubting it :x)
As for boot animations... Ahhh, I don't have any idea.
I'm using Cyanoginger 1.0 (A theme rom, replacing CyanogenMod-6) and it's been running pretty smooth, even Cyanogen before that was just fine. I've had a few hiccups getting the thing to where I wanted it, but even when it was stock, I still had bumps here and there. There's a lot of options though and I'm pretty sure they're all quite stable.
2.3 isn't quite a reality yet, but Cyanoginger is the closest thing to 2.3 I think. They're still "cooking" it, I guess you could say.
I hope maybe this can steer you in the right direction, but if you need some more help, I'm sure one of the veterans will swing by, lol.
EDIT: Actually now that I look, there's things in the second post there about the boot animations and sounds.
Thanks for the information. I'll check out those other threads.

[Q] Port this boot animation?

Hey guys. just came across this and thought it llooked pretty neat...lol. anybody willing to port it? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=945620
Sorry to disappoint but it looks like no one is willing to at least not until we get an official release of 2.2
It shouldn't have ro be ported. Personally I've ran bootimages from other android phones
Android Creative Syndicate- From spontaneous ingenuity, comes creative brilliance
Porting animations aren't hard to do as long as they are the same size resolution or bigger than the resolution of the phone their being ported to. I couple script changes and scaling. I might look into this when I get some free time for ya. Can't promise anything though.
"Oh hey look my phone runs Honeycomb!" Fail.

Threw a quick bootanimation of this together for ya. Keep in mind I edited nothing and merely pasted what frames were provided onto a 480x800 black background. Heck I didn't even test it, but should be good to go!

That animation looks really cool. But it's a Honeycomb ani. I wouldn't really feel right booting my phone to that ani when I'm on a leaked version of froyo. Then again, I'm a traditionalist

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic intro sequence boot animation

So I'm in the beginning stages of making this boot animation from the intro sequence from MLP:FiM. I'm pretty new to this kind of thing although I've been using android for a while (also learning the API... baby steps). This is mostly a first attempt and i wanted to see if I could get any interest or feedback before sinking any more time into it. I have it up and running on my phone right now and am quite pleased with the results seeing as it hasn't taken much time to get to this stage, although I'm sure refining it will be a more difficult task.
Of course this goes out to all the bronies, enjoy! (the download link is in the youtube video description. not only is the zip too large to attach, but, being a new user, i can't add links)
Also, no sound, because i don't know how to do that yet.
Awesome!
I'm not rooted (yet) but someday this will be my boot animation. ;-)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but does this prolong the bootup process? My NP appears to be booting a lot faster.
wow! ROFL this is pretty EPIC! i'm not a MLP fan, i just think that's pretty boss dude. great job so far

I don't think so. The boot time probably has more to do with other factors like the rom used, apps installed, etc. I'll admit the animation is a bit hefty at 200+ frames but that's obviously the price to pay for such a long boot animation. Anyways, i don't think the animation itself has much if any impact on boot time but maybe someone more experienced in the matter could give a more informed answer

Will the boot animation stop whenever the phone is done booting or will it play to the end no matter what?
No, the boot animation stops whenever the phone is done booting. As you can see in the video the animation loops back to the beginning because the phone isn't done loading yet. The inverse is true if the phone finishes loading before the animation completes.

Best bootloader so far!
edit: Although the image doesn't seem to sharp. Almost looks a little pixelated around the edges. Maybe that is just how the MLP intro animation is?
Something more masculine perhaps?
Awesome. I was only just thinking that boot animation was quite camp enough. Put AOKP unicorn to shame
can i get it as boot animation on my DHD ?
Pilot episode of Breaking Bad on bootup please!
Wie can someone do this with transformer and prime that would be great

Lol. That's funny. Thanks for the laugh. I wonder is their any significant battery drain related to such a lengthy animation. What is the resolution of the frames?

I'm using it, it's a little un-antialiased and quite low resolution BUT, remember this is a boot animation. 1) You dont want it to be slow and choppy. 2) You only see it once.
It's a great thing for any brony, which is why I am using it.
My rating : 9 / 10. This WILL make your phone 20% cooler

You should hit up jaekar99 on rootzwiki he has some badass boot anim. And they are beautiful I'm sure he would be more than willing to help you.

Also, check out the bootanimations compilation thread. Not only will the OP gladly link and credit you, but I posted a link to a guide there that the OP included in the 1st post.
alright to answer a few questions at once because i didn't expect this much of a response thanks guys!
currently the frames are 25% the resolution of the gnex (so 1280x720 divided by four) and they run at 12fps. if you want to run this on another resolution it's simply a matter of editing the desc.txt file in the zip. for those of you that aren't inclined to do this, feel free to post your screen resolutions and I'll get around to posting a compatible zip as time allows.

I'll think about it. If he has the time, I'm sure i could use a few pointers, although I'm not registered on rootzwiki at the moment.

Alright I'll go ahead and post this in that thread. I already have a PDF guide that i follow for this though and it doesn't look like the guide on that thread is much different. Thanks anyways though!
If you don't like it or don't agree with it, don't post negative comments. Just because it's not your cup of tea, doesn't mean you can say whatever you want.

Was my thought exactly, I kinda hope this wasn't an adult who made it. Or I gotta wonder a bit...Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead with that on my phone. Actually, I would be caught "dead". To each, his own, I guess.

Forums are for sharing opinions aren't they? be it good or bad it's still a persons opinion. I never said it looked bad, in the end I said "to each, his own".

[trial] bootanimation

Guys, my first boot animation hehehe
i know that its not good enough but i am sure that i can make much much better than this soon!

Quest for a better boot screen... ADVENTURERS UNIT!!!

Yeah yeah was feeling whimsical with the title...so, just embrace the molestation of your inner child and move on.
Now down to business...I have been really disappointed with most boot screens I have found around the internet. They are mostly really cheesy, to flashy and just plan suck...my own opinion of course. I am a real technological kind of guy when it comes down to these things and the last boot screen I can remember liking was that older energy star BIOS type one that was created a long ways back. I have been getting by with chainfires liveboot but have since grown kind of tired of it.
So, basically, I guess my real question is...Does any know of something like or willing to take on a challenge of creating something similar and/or more updated like that old BIOS boot up but tweaked specifically for the Pixel 2 XL?
Would enjoy creating something myself, but just absolutely horrible at stuff like this and to be honest no clue where to start. Thanks in advance for any help and morning ? out.
