which is the best rom for p2?? - Lenovo P2 Questions & Answers

Aicp vs crdroid ???

In my opinion CrDroid ROM. Both ROMs are good for daily drivers though.

HighwayStar's Los 14.1

Crdroid rom is best rom ......but November patch only last update........aicp rom have December patch little bit bug and freeze. Problem

:good:stock MM

Wouldn't trade the battery life and the simplicity of stock N for another rom.

Out of topic : Cosmic OS
Any ROM without Dark screen video recording ?
(Only stock) is there any other ROM without this bug?

Stock Android 7 is the best and without any bugs.

Best is los - HighwayStar. Beautifull is ViperOs (black theme)!

for me after stock rom Mokee is the best...but the developer droped this rom with no reason

For me Stock MM is good in both terms performance and battery
i feel the battery drains faster in Nougat
What's your experience?

Stock M was good in battery life and N is also good. I can't really comment on the battery life after the update because I've got 130+ apps which can affect the battery life in the background. But, the real thing is that Android 7 has got some really cool features like; reply from notification, double tap for switching apps, multi apps, improved third party app features and so on. Hence, decision of updating OS for me was easier because I always strive for better user experience and battery of P2 is just too good to be worried about battery life.

Coltos 1.4 is best naught rom for p2... currently using this and no intention of changing untill stable oreo..

I see no difference at all. Initially it might have been a bit worse, but I'm now using S244 and it seems as good as ever.
I read some discouring posts of S251 (not battery related though) so I passed that upgrade.

VertexOS.. It is ment for stock android experience and stability
Bro go for freedom os you can't get better rom that freedom os 4.5 hr sot with slightly heavy usage super smooth earlier i was on 2.6 and currently i m using oxygenos 4.1.1 i think freedom os was gud and i most benefit of having a stock based rom is that you will get a highly optimised hardware like camera and fingerprint scanner
VertexOS or ExperienceOS
Custom rom, Tesla.
No doubt. The newly released SultanXda ROM.

But sometimes crushes.

first time flashing a ROM and i can't decide

Hello i hope everyone is having a good day
i bought an LG G3 D850 few months ago it's running on Lollipop
I rooted it and installed TWRP costume recovory only thing left from what i understood is downloading the zip file and flash it . (let me know if i skiped a step )
only problems is that i can't chose which rom to flash .
i want a rom that provides best battery life for texting , i usually get 3.5 h to 4h SOT while texting with WIFI . 3h SOT while texting with 3g and browsing facebook .
i don't care much about performance in gaming because i don't play much games only need a rom with decent camera quality and can provide better SOT while texting like 6h or 5h or something if that's possible (seen someone on youtube saying u can get 6h sot texting with fulmics rom ) .
big thanks in advance..

It's best stock for battery. For battery customisation you can tweak with different kernels.
For custom ROM.. you can try resurrection its pretty good.

so the best thing to do is installing fulmics then search for karnel tweaks ?
I recommend "CleanROM" - its debloated stock rom with xceed kernel.

Just keep in mind that CleanROM is specifically labeled for D855 only. The OP has D850. It may work, I have no idea. But there is a lot of stories of people screwing up their phones by flashing incompatible ROMs...

First step is to flash fulmics. Kernel tweaking comes later if you are not satisfied with the stock kernel.

Where's the "which rom are you using" thread gone?

I've been running Sultan's 14.1 and looking for a ROM to jump to - tried Omnirom but data didn't work for some reason..!
If there isn't already a thread; what rom are you running?

try aospa extended. i don't recommend any los/gzosp/du based ROMs if you want performance and battery life.

To be honest I wouldnt be mentioning about performance and battery life with PA. They are known as one of the worst roms on the site. This is why most people stopped using their sources and code in their roms.

Actually. No I didnt say that at all. I put los right there with PA with the roms I won't touch if they are used as a base. As for sot. That only really matters to those with no life. But I still get 5+ plus when I need it like when I need it.

It's in Guides section. Tried a couple roms. Was enjoying Pie with Pixelexperience for sometime, but needed the stock look. So tried masik, and I'll tell you I am overwhelmed. Masik X 1.7 + Insignius 10 is awesome.

I didn't find any when using it.
Masik 2.2 is perfect for anyone who wants MIUI but without all the telemetry and ads. But unfortunately if you are someone looking for gaming performance, none of the MIUI roms can provide that. Highest fps I've gotten was with Revolution OS in Modern Combat Versus and it was low to mid 20s. Compared to that I get low to mid 30s on Bootleggers on teh same game. Quality settings were used btw.
Try Pixel Experience CAF edition, better and faster than MIUI , almost perfect rom. Benchmark score is higher than MIUI or may be any other custom rom , Good battery life and everything works like stock or even better than that.

What's the best kernel for battery life (Whyred)?

Currently I'm on Official Havoc OS 9.0. I need max battery life & KCAL. Any suggestions?
I got these results with the latest PE (derp kernel 4.2), and no other mod anything. For me its already superb than miui, hope this helps :good:
i am using InsigniuX-whyred-x11-20181219-1130
its very stable kernel, nice battery life
I don't know why people just floods with same type threads everyday. Why don't first use search button? And post comment/ask there?
please kernel for miui 10.0.6.0 stable global ?
