I was about to place an order for the huawei watch 2 PRO (e-sim) from Tao Bao. Thanks for your posting ! otherwise I will be scratching my head as well as to with it. Previously, I bought the Hua Wei watch 2 sports (LTE) from China and managed to flash the international ROM successfully.
Hope that PRO (e-sim) will be released soon ! I will be following this posting very closely.

I am waiting for the international rom too, I am in the same situation, I would really like to integrate with my play store apps, not just Huawei app store apps.
Mine is the LEO-DLXXU

LEO-DLXXU
Tried to flash HW2Classic model LEO-DLXXU from Chinese to European-turned into a brick. Recovery not made. I looked all over the Internet until I found the pills. Tried to upload firmware for model LEO-and LEO L09S-B09, as it is written here, but without result. If anyone has the firmware for LEO-B19 thanks in advance. I will also be glad if there is a decision to return the watch to its normal state.

I can confirm that the 4g NXG46W from from https://forum.xda-developers.com/watch-2/development/rom-huawei-watch-2-4g-l-09s-global-t3602205 works perfectly on Hauwei Watch 2 Pro Leo-DLXXU model. After flashed (without flashing the bootloader) the watch works fine and 4G connectivity is right there on the watch's menu and on the Huawei Health app on phone. However I cannot test the eSim connectivity as my operator is net yet support the eSim on watch. After rom is flashed, the watch did OTA update 3-4 times, now the latest rom on my watch is Oreo with build number OWDE.180215.017
Hope this helps.

May I know why "(without flashing the bootloader)"? and how is every functions after

Cause in another post here: https://club.huawei.com/thread-16169575-1-1.html
after
fastboot oem unlock
they do all the following
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot oem lock
Do you find it absolutely necessary to skip the fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img ?
I also just bought the Hauwei Watch 2 Pro Leo-DLXXU model and nowhere to find a dedicated tutorial for flushing it to international rom. Have to check with you on if all the things, mic, sound, google pay, esim all fine?
You input will be very much appreciated!

Unfortunately not will help. This watch is for China only. At the moment the watch is not included in the bootloader, the screen is permanently black. The computer identifies the clock as an unknown device. Need a copy of the original firmware is only for China.

Chinese tablette, change/add language, flash to french?
Hi guys,
I'm on the same boat, I bought the device from China for my dad, but it only has Chinese/Korean/English language and a lot of stuff he doesn't want/need.
I would like to flash the tablet to French, but it seems the ROMS are country dependent, and I don't want to brick it just yet
What's my best option to get french on the device?
Any feedback on this will be appreciated!!

You'll have the European model with all the services of google working ..
Try to flash this latest firmware for Hong Kong. After the flash, you have to get into recovery mod and do the wipe reset factory.

I haven't. I am being careful. I am waiting on Bodiva to answer my question. Bodiva if you are seeing this can you please advise
I'm in the UK, bought my Tab S 10.5 from eGlobal Central UK and when it arrived the system software was in Chinese. I was able to change it ok to English and the model number is SM-T800. The Samsung internet app home page is the Samsung Hong Kong site. All Google apps are present and correct and there are no preinstalled Chinese apps. But I can't get Odin to recognise it in download mode. I've tried different cables, different usb sockets, I've even tried it on 2 pc's but no use. Odin does see it on Com port 9 when the tablet is booted up, but doesn't see it at all on the 2nd pc. It connects as an mtp device on both pc's ok.
So even though its an SM-T800 Tab S, it looks like I have no mission of rooting it as Odin doesn't work. I suppose I could return it as I wasn't told in advance that it would be a Chinese one I was buying.

Hi, I used the ROM Bodiva suggested. It works perfect !
The only thing that doesn't work is the 4g connection. it doesn't recognize the SIM card (null / null IMEI). I am still looking for a solution for that. But for the rest the ROM is OK, can easily be flashed through ODIN.

which odin do you use.... I use odin 3.07, but it seems odin 3.09 for galaxy s4 also recognizes the tablet, although I haven't confirmed it actually works. See if this works: go to your tablet's settings, tap general, tap "about device", then tap "build number" 7 times. Now you have developer options. Now tap that and check enable usb-debugging. If you have installed adb, open a command terminal with admin rights and type "adb reboot download" (without the quotationmarks) put your original samsung cable in the top-usb port on the back of your computer, open odin 3.07, and check the connection.

That will be difficult if not impossible until someone can change the bootloader, even in Hong Kong if you tell them you live on
the mainland, they will not sell you a 4G model as it will not work.
One strange thing is that with every ROM ever made, if you for example took the SamsungIME apk and moved it to another device
that was similar, it worked fine, it does not in this, a Hong Kong 805 IME will not even register or be recognized on the 805C. That
is enough to suspect that China does not want you to replace that keyboard, but why? keylogging perhaps.

there isnt any working modem on 9.6.6.0.OEDMIFD

I tried changing the vendor partition which broke even more stuff.
Maybe @nijel8 havent checked under ground (parking lots), in door buildings, and more which make the signal so weak.
also there is no LTE/LTE+ on the 9.6.6.0.OEDMIFD
We need someone with the un-released 9.6.7.0.OEDMIFD to confirm this

Don't be so sure as we don't know 9.6.6.0 is broken. You've already said 9.6.4.0 is fake and that wasn't true.
You installation of 9.6.6.0 doesn't proof anything.
We know for sure many times problems are fixed by fastboot rom nad we don't have global fastboot rom released yet to test.
Yes, I haven't tested mine enough to know for sure it runs fine under different conditions so I will not say it has no problems, we've had enough rumors spread around... So let's just leave it to people who have more to say...
I'm on 9.6.6.0 for a week now as a daily driver, no problem at all. So, afaik, 9.6.6.0 is not broken.

Global SKU of the phone is not available yet.
I'd suggest waiting if you want modems to work properly - possibly also extra bands and NFC.

I'm not sure if you are aware what are you actually using. The phone does not have NFC. https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_max_3-8963.php That is one of its weak point.
You cannot enable something by software if the hardware is missing.

I'm aware the version currently doesn't, and of course it can't be enabled without the hardware.
However, I was told by a retailer (who are selling 'global' units) that the true global version was not available yet, would be a distinct hardware version, and that it may carry both extra bands and NFC.
"I'm not sure if you aware" that other global versions of Chinese phones have added both an NFC reader and additional bands? It is not unlikely in this case.
I had asked them about the likelihood of a Max 3 Pro coming soon (and with NFC) as Malyasian / Indian e-tailers had re-added pre-orders for the Pro, with October expected date. They said they didn't know, but gave the above information about the global Max 3.

Well I did read about the device quite a bit but I haven't seen anywhere the global version would have NFC. I doubt Xiaomi would change the hardware in the global version. M3Pro on the other hand as you say may come with that but its up in the air yet...
It's rare that Chinese brands release any information ahead of availability of global SKUs, even if the hardware differs (which it not infrequently does).
We'll see.
The Max 3 is apparently among those devices that'll be officially available in European markets .. that makes it a lot more likely that bands and NFC will be added, as there have been in other phones.
I didn't think that there was any difference between the original Chinese variant and the International/Global variant which they began selling in Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines last week, but I was wrong. My Chinese Mi Max 3 arrived from tradingshenzhen with an unlocked bootloader and xiaomi.eu flashed as I had requested, and with xiaomi.eu 8.8.9 it works great. But a friend recently came home with a Max 3 purchased in the Philippines which is running v9.6.7.0.OEDMIFD (Global). When he goes to the Mi verification web site and enters his IMEI it says "you have a valid International Version". When I go to the site and enter my IMEI it says "you do not have a valid International Version and may encounter difficulties - please purchase from official distribution channels in the future".

Ok, I am getting irritated by you already...
Don't give your opinion on something you don't completely understand. As I said your installation procedure is so lame I don't even know how to say it without offending you. Believe me that is not my intention...
First you don't have global version and the OP question is specifically for that one.
Second you don't have fastboot global rom to begin with. There are so much more to the rom than what is it in the recovery zip. Otherwise Xiaomi won't be releasing both.
Third how do you know if Xiaomi didn't place some restrictions preventing Chinese devices running Global rom properly hence your problems...
So until you flash fastboot Global rom or better yet for this OP get global version try to not spread false information.
Peace...

if u get installation failed in dload or force download, try downgrading to emui 8(if u are on 9) and then downgrade to a firmware with june patch of 2018 for ur device and then unlock it using slock(currently down check @huaweihax telegram channel) and then rebrand to whatever u want

Okay, but this is not ANE-AL00, read carefully " P20 Lite(Model NO. HWV32)" . If I'm not mistaken, it's Anne-L12JPZ (C791) build number . Unfortunately, there's no Service ROM for this build number with Google patch june 2018 or lover. Comprende? Have a nice day!

There is a firmware that was released on May for ANE-L12 and it will work even if it is not JPZC791
My friend was able to flash ANE-AL00C00 firmware on ANE-AL00C675 device when it was locked
I found this one in firmware finder app or check their official website
http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G3205/g1789/v134050/f1/full/update.zip
Give this a try and read this thread before u try to flash this but slock service is down rn so wait untill it's back

A/ since android 7 you can flash from dload folder only Service ROM. Using update.zip from fullOTA-MF the process will stuck at 5% and error message. Did you know?
B/ downgrade to lover build number is possible using Service ROM only. Did you know?
C/ Service ROM can be found here
https://androidhost.ru/search.html
or here
easy-firmware.com (paid service)
Did you know?
P.S.: Don't write about things you know nothing about. It's fun, but dangerous ...

If you are running EMUI 9.1, try to downgrade to EMUI 8 using HiSuite.

Huawei MatePad 10.4 Chinese Firmaware bricked

Sorry for posting here but there isn't a MatePad 10.4 forum separately.
I have a Huawei MatePad 10.4 BAH3-W09. I tried to downgrade it to install google apps as many of you have tried as well. I didn't know it was a Chinese variant and tried to install a EU firmware. This resulted in a bootloop. It just bootloops into recovery every time. I tried recovery with histuite, wifi upgrade and via USB OTG. All fail. I tried factory reset and wiping cache. When I wiped the cache, the recovery changed to Chinese. I took it to the official Huawei service and they told me there's nothing anyone can do in Europe as it's a Chinese variant. Could anyone help me to get a chinese firmware for this? USB OTG update might still work with the correct firmware. At this point any working version will do doesn't have to be old enough to install google apps. Although that would of course be preferable, if it's even possible with Chinese firmware.
Here is a picture of the info on the box if it's necessary.
I did PM you, we'll give a try to BAH3-W09 C00 Emui10.1 B108 and B135 dloads.
hello, everyone. I have a tablet huawei matepad 10.4 model BAH3-W09 Chinese, and I want to change firmware by putting the Italian one, and now my question is, can I do it without creating bootloop? can I do that without sending the device to brick? and if I can do that as a program, I have to use? where can I find an EU firmware?
Thanks
@accery's BAH3 devices was finally fixed using paying tools and some time
@Mark887 I did PM'ed you about your BAH3 rebrand.
Hi all,
I have bought for my daughter's christmas a tablet Huawei Matepad 10.4 (BAH3-W09) in france. I would install on it playstore, youtube... with googlefier. But LZplay doesn't work as firmware is over 10.1.0.150.
Do you have solutions as older firmware, other technic....

I'm a new user too (from France...), so correct me if i'm wrong !
This what I understood, the tab has a release date in 04-2020, and we need a firmware from an older date, so we can't rollback enough for a Googlefier install...
The only "workaround" I found is to use Vmos pro (free from their site) and then create a Virtual Machine which can add Google playstore etc...
But I think it's a lot too annoying for a kid...
Actually, I use petal search to find my kid's apps/games.
For Google stuff you have to use the Quick app center...
Sadly, I haven't find any solution for Family link...
Hopefully this can help you until there is a solution...

Question I bought Chinese version of IQOO9 and want to switch to Funtouch OS

HI friends, I have made a mistake buying iqoo9 from Aliexpress without reading the OS description. I read somewhere that vivo is supposed to be offering the option for owners to switch to funtouch is that true will I be able to do that or was that just a rumor?
Thanks in advance
Hi guys,
same situation for me. I have bought the IQOO 9 pro PD2172A and I would try to flash PD2172F ROM but I don't want to brick my phone.
I hope there is someone expert who can help.
Thank you
Same situation for me!
Bad news guys I contacted Vivo. Switching is not possible as the Chinese version is made for Chinese audience and won't let you flash funtouch. At this point all I can hope for is to be at least able to access USB debugging and remove vivos bloatware.

Hi mate, can you post us the link please? I would try to convince them to give us the possibility to switch to Global rom. At the end we have spent a lot of money for this flagship and if they don't want to lose customers in the future, they should make us happy in someway.
So there's no single way for us now to be able to flash something different onto it? Nobody tried?
the main problem is to find the original ROM so in case of problems you can revert back.
Hi there,
I've got 9 Pro version and I am interested too. is it possible to unlock bootloader? Developer options are very limited - most of functions are grayed.

Unfortunately you can't. They won't even let you use root account to use adb debugging mode to remove their crap bloatware. Unfortunate that an incredible phone like this with amazing specs is locked. I would be happy if they let me at least use adb
Do you think it's possibile at least to flash the Global version over the China version?

No the Chinese phone are branded with different model code even if we assume you manage to get to bootloader which they already have locked and when I asked them they said no. We don't allow bootloader access for phones made for Chinese markets
Traying to find the correct stock software to the Chinese version of Iqoo 9 Pro I found instead software to F model not A. I didn't know the F model does exist at all. Recently Vivo released this model (9 Pro) to India market but I am not convinced it is V2172F. Possibly this software could be downloaded to ours 9 Proses after bootloader unlocked. Am I right?

I don't know about the Indian version I looked for the model number but don't seem to find it. Either way there is no point of that. I already tried to do extract the boot file and attached it to magisk here is the catch you can't run that without bootloader unlocked
If you looking for chiness file, you may find on PAID website, such as ROMDevelopers ETC
Quick update I managed to remove a lot of vivos bloatware, not all but most of them using adb appcontrol just wanted to leave this here in case someone may find use of this info
Hi Moe990
I am doing the same and building a list of what is safe to remove.
A few weeks ago I removed an APP that disabled my NFC (Google Pay) - I had to factory reset my phone
Have you managed to remove :
- Music and Video players
- Phone / SMS / Contact APP
Thanks
Nah not everything is removable. But I'm glad with what I removed so far
I noticed I cannot google back up my phone. its greyed out ... so annyoing
