Best rom with battery life? - Lenovo ZUK Z2 (Plus) Questions & Answers

I wanna get the max juice outta my phone.
Can someone recommend a ROM with over 6 hrs of sot?
I was earlier on aex 5.1
It gave me 4 hrs +. Never 6hrs.
Please also mention any kernel or battery mods using with attached screenshots.
Thanks in advance.
Currently on PA 7.3.1 getting 4 hrs 40min + sot.

12 hours sot!!!! Are u kidding us. I'm using the same rom for a week and the maximum sot i got was 6hr.

On aex Oreo latest build i m getting 7 hour + sot with all day volte and 4g data on.
I dont use any mod everything stock.
Pretty impressive.

Using aex Oreo from 2 3 days and getting 8 hours sot,
However i reset battery state so screen shot covers only one hour of usage,
Note: currently I m travelling and cellular connection is weaker so battery is draining 2 3% more than it should be.
Almost 10% per hour sot.

Can someone help me with my battery life...?

I am using a stock firmware (3.2.8) not rooted, bootloader unlocked, i get max of 3 hrs 50 mins of SOT.
have replaced the battery from an authorized service center. nothing helps.
my usage: -
mostly single sim activated.
always connected to 3g or 4g or on wifi
3 mail accounts synced (only for mails, contacts, and other stuff are unchecked)
GPS off, only when needed
not many apps installed
a bit of game (max 30 mins)
if its normal kindly let me know, coz m really confused how come people are able to achieve 6hrs of SOT.
Depends usage, franco kernal and ghost pepper cpu tweak made a good diffrence for me.

If your bootloader unlocked why not root? If you really want the best battery life then like I do I'd suggest stock based rom, root and xposed then install greenify and amplify.. both of those will control apps and wakelocks to reduce battery use and I always have positive results from that combination.
Edit - I get 5-6 hours sot

One plus 3 best rom for Screen on time

Can anyone tell me that which is the best rom for screen on time.i am using stock rom.just me a rom that can give a 5+ hour screen on time...i have posted my usage in screenshot
OOS 4.0.2 with OB7 firmware. Then flash render EAS kernal. EAS will make sure that you get the most battery out of your phone.
It doesnt fully depend on the ROM. If u really want good battery life then its all about tweaking. For example flash LOS14.1 with bluspark/ElementalX/Franco then apply a AKT profile, for further explanation of this head to the advanced kernel tweaking thread and then download the akt APK. Then choose which profile u think suits the best. U can choose from battery/balanced/performance. Then u can easily reach 5h SOT. Hope i helped you.
I have 8-9h SOT on sultan's CM13
Screenshots: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70828408&postcount=668
Beta 11 with Franco's kernel. 4+ guaranteed SOT for me with a moderate gaming ( CoC and CR .... Both battery hogger )
Plus both Sims and 4g data on one is on mostly.
If you want more battery then you should try AKT ZHANA but for me it made my phone slow. So avoiding it at this moment.
Hope it helps. Thanks!
SOT is personal and doesn't mean a lot you can leave your display on with sync off, 0 Brightness and get 20hrs...
Try different setups maybe ditch some apps and log in with optimized sd browser etc
I have got my best SOT with Slimroms
It really depends on usage more than anything else. For example, I'm consistently getting 5-6h SOT on stock ROM and kernel, no doze tweaks or anything. Never got below 4h, once hit over 9h.

my constant is with 4 hours sot with stock 3.2.8. could be better with 4.0.2 or whatever.. but i stopped thinking about the sot coz its just making me paranoid everytime i look at the battery stats. as long as the phone can hold up till end of the day then im good and as long as i can get off a charger everytime im on low battery then im damn fine

I agree with this as well. I think back to my note 4, and just wanted a better that would last until I got home.. I frequently had to plug it up or swap batteries halfway through the day.
Now with heavier use, [and more knowledge of android] regardless of what I do, my oneplus 3 always makes it through the entire work and school day.
H2OS Beta 7, stock kernel + root +greenify +juice defender(default settings). It's the best battery duration I have with OP3. 5-7h sot generally.

Battery Life on OOS 5

Just wanted to start a central thread for people to share SoT's and other battery-life-related info for the new OOS 5 build, and the other Oreo builds that may eventually follow, OnePlus willing.
I'm just waiting to see how battery life turns out, and how stable the build is, before upgrading. I figured many others would be too, so any of you brave first responders who want to fill us in would be very appreciated!
Useful info to include:
*Screen-on time (ideally with a screenshot of app usage)
*Average standby drain per hour
*Rough difference between standby drain when on WiFi/LTE (signal quality is the biggest decider here, so if you have an idea how good of a signal you may have been getting, please include that too)
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to let us know! (Remember to click the thanks button for those who help us out!)
So far so good. Pretty much the same as nougat.
i lost 40 % in around 1 hour SOT. that's very bad...
Very good, better than nougat
Hi, maybe a survey can be usefull ? Like "better than nougat" or not
After selecting location mode to GPS only, my idle drain with Oreo open beta is really low. I usually have 80% battery left when I go to bed. The other day I somehow disabled wifi and still had 80% left, so cellular battery usage is minimal.
Way better battery life than nougat.

There isn't a lot you can do about google play services and android system wakelocks, that's just Google spying on you and selling information about you. Limiting those almost always breaks something, they build their internal services confusingly on purpose because spying on you and selling that information is their core business model. You just have to do trial and error and see what works in your use case.
