hello guys,could some please tell me how to take pics using fingerprint scanner.I have searched but i cant seem to find the right asnwer. I am on global rom 7.5.6.0.Pleae any kind of help is appreciated.Thanks in advance.

You are on MIUI 7 and photos with fingerprint is MIUI8 feature, you will get it when you update it to MIUI8

It's starts from 6.7.21 in global and 6.7.15 in Chinese (not before that)

That's MIUI for you, they don't advertise some of the feature where there's no toggle to on - off, they just assume that people will know by themselves just by exploring.

In Redmi Note 3 fingerprint scanner works for pics in MIUI 7 also
I checked it...
Why it's not working in Max - MIUI 7 ?
This .apk is from original system from xzs firmware.
It works with xz with better pictures and less grain.
Video slo-mo working @120 fps
No scn at all in the app appeared
Manual camera works
Iso control working good
For working without error
Clear data from camera common and camera and video application before installing

You need to be rooted.
Replace the camera application from
SemcCameraUI-jniLibs64-xxhdpi-release
Folder and give the right permission.
Video application got some error if you update it when using slo-motion.
The original video app works perfect.

From the resolution of the video maybe 1080p
It is limited and can't change

No scn in the application they are hidden

Any future scope for the fully working port?
Because i am waiting for it eagerly!!! Even a full ROM which offers the same (Poco F1 Rom, Redmi Note6 pro ROM or even Mi8 ported ROM) would work too!!

hi, can u tell me please, how i can solve this problem? and why stock launcher, and poco launcher(that is third party launcher in essential, but made from xiaomi) i have this delay when you swipe up gestures to back homescreen?
i have the same problem with ALL launchers, except poco and miui stock launcher
is any way to give other launchers ectra permission to works = smooth like poco and miui launcher?
is not a big problem, but, i prefer get more better experience like this 2 launchers, with no gestures(screen buttons) i dont have any problems, only when use gestures...

Had same problem - especially lagged "back to homescreen". It took literally 2 seconds.
Tried Nova and Poco launchers, miui.eu and miuipro. No luck at all.
Now i'm on Aosip gsi rom + Nova and have no problems. Everything is very fast and smooth. Worth trying.

I was on miuipro (russian devs). Had more options but also lagged.
Have used Aosip for couple of weeks now. Everything works, thanks to MrColdbird, who made fixes.
