You can even download it directly from Magisk Repo. You just have to search for iYTBP and two variants will show up in Magisk.

Flshed magisk ??

It's easier if you've installed Magisk. Just download the iYTBP module from the Magisk repo and install.
But make sure you don't have the YouTube app installed before doing this.

In pixel experience it didn't flash via magisk module also didn't work I'm following instructions

Xposed module works also.
try it

2.Downgarde bootloader for DM-Verity
3. Flash Magisk via twrp
4. Turn off the phone manualy
5.Turn on & boot in twrp
6.Do the backup of boot
7.And edit boot.win in hex editor on pc
Code:
androidboot.selinux=permissive
screen in attachment
8.And flash boot back, reboot.
P.S When you set selinux permissive via fastboot you'll have freeze (braking) in system - i don't know how it say

Oreo compatible TWRP: Download (Credits: @akhilnarang)
OOS Open Beta 25: Download (Official OnePlus Website)
Magisk 14.3 (Beta): Download (stolen from this thread)
Magisk Manager 5.4.0: Download (GitHub)
You are responsible, if it kills your device, but this was my way:
1. Full Backup in TWRP
2. Reboot into Fastboot Mode
3. Flash Oreo compatible TWRP
4. Use Volume Keys to select and boot into recovery
5. Install OOS Open Beta 25
Then i did a reboot and Steps 1&2 again but i don't think this is required.
6. Install Magisk 14.3 Beta
7. Create an image of the boot partition
Code:
adb shell
dd if=/dev/block/sde18 of=/sdcard/boot.img
exit
8. Copy the boot.img file to your computer
9. Open this file in a hex exitor, add the following text after "buildvariant=user" (image in baskaflyfer's answer) and save the file:
Code:
androidboot.selinux=permissive
10. Reboot into fastboot mode
11. Flash modified boot image
12. Reboot to OOS

Do you dirty flash open beta 25?

I am not able to tell you how safe this method is.
Yes, i did a dirty flash of OOS Open Beta 25, but some apps lost their data (Jodel, photoTAN, ...) but not Google Authenticator :fingers-crossed:
I think the modification of the boot.img is device-specific. I can not tell you details about this because i don't know that either.
There might be another way to set selinux=permissive as recently described in this thread, but your bootloader need to allow the following command:
Code:
fastboot oem selinux permissive
If you are able to perform this command in fastboot mode, maybe you don't need to modify the boot.img manually. Just reboot to fastboot mode after the installation of Magisk in TWRP and type that command.

I did not try any modules but multiple apps that require root: AirDroid, AFWall+, Amaze (Root enabled). They're working fine.
Additionally, this magically fixed my ctsProfile. Magisk's SafetyNet-Test is successful on my device now.
Edit: I was able to install ViPER4Android FX for Magisk v14+ (v2.5.0.5) by ShadySquirrel without any errors, but driver status tells me that it is not enabled. Maybe because they officially just support ROMs up to Android Lollipop.

Spotify Unlimited Skips [ROOT or ADB]

Hello, XDA! Today, I'll be showing you how to get unlimited skips/song select in Spotify on the OnePlus 5.
Code:
/*
If you are rooted or you have adb enabled and installed
on your computer, skip to the bold section of this post.
If you don't have this done or you don't know how to
do this, read the whole post.
*/
This will require root (root guide for OnePlus 5 here, I recommend using Magisk and not SuperSU.) or ADB.
To enable ADB, just scroll down in Settings to About phone, scroll all the way to the bottom and press Build Number 7 times; this will activate Developer Mode. Go back to the main page in Settings, Developer Mode is near the bottom. From Developer options, you can activate USB debugging (which is ADB). You can download Android SDK Platform-Tools from here. Extract the .zip, go into the folder named platform-tools, and open CMD or Terminal (CMD for Windows, Terminal for Mac/Linux) and drag ADB into the CMD/Terminal to run ADB.
Code:
adb shell
would be
Code:
(drag adb file here) shell
but would show up as something like
Code:
/Users/username/Downloads/platform-tools/adb shell
Once you have rooted or enabled ADB, you can download a new app called jOnePlus Tools [adb/root] from the Play Store. jOnePlus is a modding application for the OxygenOS 4.5.x.
When you open jOnePlus Tools, it will ask for SuperUser Rights (if you are rooted). Select Grant to allow it to 'change' the system. It will then bring up a message that says Permission Denied and it will tell you to grant WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS by running
Code:
adb shell pm grant net.jroot3d.joneplustools android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
over USB. You can either connect your phone to your computer over USB and enable USB Debugging and run
Code:
adb shell pm grant net.jroot3d.joneplustools android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
on the computer. If you are rooted, you can skip the whole ADB step; just press GRANT WITH ROOT.
Once you've enabled permissions with adb or root, press the gear icon near the top right, press General, and then Enable experimental features. Go back to the main screen of jOnePlus Tools and press the square-circle shape near the top-middle of the screen. Scroll to the bottom and press 4k (2160x3840). It will lag a bit for about 20 seconds at most. Close Spotify if open. Now launch Spotify. (If your home screen appears to be messed up or corrupted, DON'T FRET! It may be confused because your device is telling it a different resolution. This is temporary.) If you can't click on home screen icons correctly, you can hold the home button to launch Google Assistant and say Open Spotify. When you launch Spotify, it should allow you to have unlimited skips/song select. This is because your Spotify sees your screen size as 2160x3840, a tablet size. The tablet version of Spotify has unlimited song select and skips. Spotify only checks your screen size when it launches, so you can go back to jOnePlus Tools and put you resolution back at Full HD (1080x1920) Default. If you close Spotify, you may need to change your resolution back to 4k again before launching if you want unlimited skips/select (and then back to Full HD Default after launching).

AR Core Google Measure on OP3

Anyone made the Measure app work on their OP3?
I'm also having problems what's brought me here. I was trying different versions and nothing works :/
Yep, works perfectly fine here. Do other AR Core apps work for you?
Actually I have a problem with installing AR Core itself, do you have a link to proper version?
Also can't get it to work. I tried a few different versions of the ARCore apk now, but when opening the measure app all I get is different error messages.

Yep, works perfectly fine here. Do other AR Core apps work for you?

Do you have a OnePlus 3 or 3T?
I've had ARC running earlier, but can't get the Measure app to work. I can install both APKs, but I get error when starting the Measure app.

I have the 3.
What I did was the following:
1) Download and install the latest ARCore apk from apkmirror: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/arcore/arcore-1-3-180604066-release/
2) Sideload an ARCore-enabled app like Just a Line or IKEA Place (again, from APK Mirror) and launch it so it crashes the first time.
3) Using a root explorer, go to /data/data/com.google.ar.core/files/device_profile_database/ and find the file for the OnePlus 3T (it will have "OnePlus3T" in its name).
4) Rename/Remove the "T" from "OnePlus3T" in the file name.
5) Launch an ARCore-enabled app again and it should work flawlessly.

... or it replies to you then with the error: " This device does not support AR" instead of hanging at start ^^
Fobos531´s instructions seem to work well for me. I can use the measure app now. Though I'm not yet sure how exact it is. Haven't had much time yet for testing it.
For reference, I've got OP3 (not T) running NitrogenOS 8.1
Fixed, I completely kicked ARCore APK and reinstalled. Now it works. AR Stickers does not, but I think that I use the wrong APK...

Can you try manually creating the file in that case? Create a "files" folder, inside create a folder named "device_profile_database" and inside that folder create a file named "device_profile_OnePlus3_colon_8.textproto" (make sure .textproto is the extension). Put this in the file: https://gist.github.com/fobos531/64cd45838ffb6a143a83306882d208b6
Also the file should have read+write permissions only for the owner (you can do "chmod 600 /data/data/com.google.ar.core/files/device_profile_database/device_profile_OnePlus3_colon_8.textproto") to achieve this.

Same happened to me. Problem was a too old apk (didn't use the version from the download link above at first, thought I had the right one)
Sure you used that one?

This works well for me.
I have the Skulshady's ARCore before. I uninstall it and install the latest version from apkmiror, then follow this guide and works fine.
Thanks @Fobos531 , your way works for me like a charm. OOS 5.0.3 with Magisk. Installed ArCore 1.3 from apkmirror, then Ikea app, let it crash one time, edited the filename and everything works now.
i installed the lasr ar core from apk mirror,
and downloaded measures from play store
and i didnt do anything else
and its working fine.

If you are able to download measure app from play store then it means, your phone supports this, you don't need to do anything else

[BOOTANIMATION] [MAGISK] McLaren Boot Animation [OnePlus 7t & 7t Pro]

Welcome to my McLaren boot animation thread for the Oneplus 7t & 7t pro!
There is one for the Oneplus 7 and 7 pro aswell, you can check it out Here
Must have Magisk Installed.
Installation:
Flash .zip via Magisk v17.0+ (Open Magisk>Select Modules from the Side Panel> Press the + button>choose the zip that you downloaded)
If you want to return to stock boot animation, disable/ remove module via magisk and reboot:good:
Downloads:
Oneplus 7t: Link
Oneplus 7t pro: Link
Preview:
Troubleshoot:
- If you do not see the bootanimation or you see the stock boot animation, check if you have any other magisk bootanimations actiavated?
If you do, disable them all, reboot, and reflash.
- If that does not work work: Last resort, you can move the bootanimation.zip (located in the magisk module zip: system/media folder) manually to /system/media on your phone and set permissions to rw-r-r
If you end up using this method, remember to back up stock bootanimation by adding a .bak at the end of the file name.

When you press the + button use the side bar and use a different file manager to select the file... The stock file manager does that sometimes...

That worked thanks didn't know you could do that ?
Holy sh*t it looks fantastic on my 7T Pro
This looks amazing on my oneplus 7t....
Looks great on the 7T! would there be a way to remove the Mclaren text and just leave the honeycomb portion? or change the Mclaren text to just the OnePlus logo?
Can you deactivate or remove the module?? I can't...

You should be able to disable or remove it using the modules section in the sidebar in Magisk itself.

That's the point: it doesn't work. With either 20.1 and canary. But I think it's not the only module with I get this so it should come from my side. Can't understand where from though....

Okay try this... Reboot to TWRP> mount system > go to advanced > file manager > then go to data/adb/modules > delete the McLaren folder and any other... This is the only other way I know to remove modules...

I understood
But... Mount what? TWRP? OnePlus 7T and 7T pro => still no TWRP
Anyway I could access this folder through Solidexplorer and there is no McLaren folder or any other related to this module.... And yet there are the others from my other modules...
thank you very much it looks amazing
is it possible to change the bootanimation.zip inside this zip module to "flash" annother bootanimation.zip into my 7t pro ? or the other files are somehow tied to this one ?

Update your phone to 10.0.7 and your boot animation will be back to stock.
If you're already on 10.0.7, use the manual update function in settings, and choose the OOS file you're already on. Follow the tutorial which explains how to keep root after OTA (install OTA, DON'T REBOOT, got to magisk : install/install/direct install, then install it again but to inactive slot and you're ready to reboot). Module should still be in the list but at least your boot animation is back to stock ?

? Well....
I copied the stock bootanimation.zip from my device but I can't replace the one in the module (file explorer says "system file is read only". I'll try to find a way to do it from my computer. Then you should be able to flash it upon the old one I guess, through magisk.
EDIT: I did it from my computer, try to install this module
