Xperia M - How to unlock bootloader and root then install custom rom? Need Help!! - Sony Xperia M

Dear XDA Community,
I have an Xperia M C1905 and I have checked the service info menu and it shows "Rooting Status: Bootloader unlock allowed:Yes" so I can unlock bootloader but I have heard that unlocking bootloader can cause the phone to bootloop. So I want to know how to unlock the bootloader, root this phone and add a custom recovery. I don't know whether I should take a TA Partition backup or not. I do own an xperia SP which I have but it is broken so the Xperia M C1905 will have to be used for the time being. Can someone from the forum show me the right links for unlocking bootloader, root, custom recovery. A set of instructions to follow since looking at the forum I got no idea which guide to follow for this phone.
Currently this phone requires the bootloader to be unlocked without causing a bootloop to happen.
It is currently running android 4.3 stock - Build Number: 15.4.A.1.9
I'm a noob at this since the last time I unlocked bootloader and added custom rom to the xperia SP was like 4 years ago.

Thread closed on OP's request.
Regards
Vatsal.

[Q] Phone bricking per OTA - strange

Hey Folks
I tried now 2 times to get on the new Firmwareversion 4.x for the Arc with root.
Every Time i tried to Unlock per OTA the Phone bricked. So the Bootloader must be open.
I don´t touched the Bootloader, but i think the Bootloader is open, because the Phone had SimLock and i unlocked the phone with SETools with Testpoint Methode.
How do I know if the boot loader can be unlocked on my phone?
It is possible to unlock the boot loader for certain releases of our 2011 Xperia™ phones, such as Xperia™ arc, Xperia™ neo, Xperia™ pro and Xperia™ PLAY. Your phone has to fulfill a number of requirements, for example, you can’t unlock the boot loader if you have a SIM lock protected phone. There are other requirements as well, depending on your market and the original configuration of your phone.

So the Bootloader must be open in a way am i right? But i can still update with PCC or SEUS the Firmware
Where can i check the Bootloader Status
Thanks in advance for Help Dudes
Setool would have unlocked the bootloader, so have a read of the unbrick thread in the dev section.

Need Help abt Xperia Ion LT28AT Jellybean flashing on bootloader (unknown lock status

Hello all,
So I managed to root my Xperia Ion LT28AT using the "Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v33" Option 0. Option 1 didn't work for me.
Atleast my root status is confirmed. I can install root accessing applications. I just need guidance about flashing a jellybean rom and I have absolutely no idea whether my bootloader is locked/unlocked.
Yes I'm a noob and this is my first attempt at flashing a rom so I didn't want to risk anything. And I did search the forum and didn't understand anything past the rooting since I'm not sure about my bootloader unlock status.
Btw I visited this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1753261 and found out under the Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status (of my phone) that the Bootloader unlock allowed says NO.
Your help is appreciated.

[Q] Problem on Unlocking Bootloader using AndroidSDK For Sony Xperia M / C1904

I have the latest officially firmware update for my Xperia M running on Android 4.3.
While trying to unlock my bootloader it got bricked and the Xperia boot animation kept on loading.
I followed all the steps and gave every commands to unlock my bootloader given in the official Sony developer website for my Sony Xperia device.
Since its not booting into my homescreen I gave my device to the Sony Authourised Service Centre where they are asking to replace a new motherboard.
DOES UNLOCKING THE BOOTLOADER CAUSE ANY DAMAGE TO THE DEVICE MOTHERBOARD?????
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum.

Sony Xperia M 4.3 Locked Bootloader CynogenMod

Device: Sony Xperia M C1905
Software: 4.3
Bootloader: Locked
Basically, every single method I have tried to root this phone has failed. All I want to do is have root access to my phone, I want to be able to:
Use CynogenMod (FOR CLASH OF CLANS)
take my apps2SD
Delete any crap from my phone
Full Customization abilities
All this can be achieve by rooting but MY BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED.
There are numerous ways out there that just don't work.
Does anybody know how to first root my phone, and then to have access to a mod?
I want the mod to be able to do all the things I listed previously.
I know this is possible with CynogenMod on other phones, but my bootloader is locked, and I just don't know what to do. Done numerous tutorials, none seem to be working or some don't even have any download links.
If someone could give me a step by step guide on how to mod and root my phone that would be perfect.
I will respond very quick, and will ask you questions if I need help.
I will listen and try to follow your steps, but please give me specific details, I'm not a pro modder.
Simply use towel root and get full root access
Just search in threads, how it works

I have tried that. I followed each step with the towel root hack.
Basically, after I've done it I go on Root Checker and no the root is not successful.
And with towel root you can't use Cyanogenmod.
You can't use Cyanogenmod if your bootloader is LOCKED, I have the same problem, my bootloader is on "Bootloader unlock allowed: NO" status, you can't because Cyanogenmod uses a custom KERNEL, which is impossible to do if your bootloader is locked. All we have to do is to wait for somebody to make a LB (locked bootloader) version of Cyanogenmod.

can anyone please help me i still didn't get an answer for my problem pleaaaaaase
Hello, welcome to the Xperia M forums. I hope you manage to find what you are looking for here, however the device is a low activity device (namely due to the lack of locked bootloader recovery).
Firstly, please see if your device's bootloader can be unlocked. To do this please follow the steps I am about to post;
1) Open your phone dialer,
2) Type *#*#7378423#*#* (*#*#SERVICE#*#*),
3) Tap Service Info,
4) Tap Configuration,
5) Look to Rooting Status, it will show one of three statuses;
5.1) Rooting status 1; Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes (this means that you can unlock your bootloader).
5.2) Rooting status 2; Bootloader unlock allowed: No (this means that you can't unlock your bootloader).
5.3) Rooting status 3; Bootloader unlocked: Yes (this means that your bootloader is already unlocked).
If you have either status 1 or 3 you are able to install Android 5 onto your device.
Firstly you will have to have an unlocked bootloader, you can do this by following the official instructions by Sony here (skip this if your bootloader is unlocked).
Then use a ROM from the forums what is Android M based.
If you have status 2 however you are unable to install Android 5 onto your device I'm afraid.
