I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab3 (7") SM-T210 .
I would like to install a custom ROM on it but need help
What do I need to do before I do that? Do I need to root my tablet? Or just go on a website and install the custom rom?
I dont really need to 'backup' anything as I just have apps, which I dont mind reinstalling
Please help and give me advice, as I might have to just purchase a tablet
Need help about the whole process and what to do!

[Q] custom rom

Hi guyz
i am writing this in hope somebody can help me with straight forward instructions:
i have rooted my samsung galaxy note 2 n7100 with chainfire . now i want to install a custom Rom, what should i do next and which rom would you guyz recommend and how to install it. i have been reading about this but every time i read i get confused as to what is the next step after rooting and how do i install a custom rom? and btw i have also taken a full backup of my device using titanium backup.
pls help..:
first, after being rooted, you need to install custom recovery - either TWRP or CWM. here You have a guide on how to install TWRP onto Note 2:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1938733
after You're done with installing TWRP, You have to put proper files onto Your SD Card/memory.
the files and steps required to get PA working on Your phone can be found here:

hope this helps!

[Q] Please Help rooting my TMO GS4 on UVUFNK2

Hi all,
Can someone please help me root my Galaxy S4 from T-Mobile. Yes I'm a noobie, and would like to root my phone to be able to customize it and use more favorable apps.
I have downloaded the MD 1.3 ROM, Odin, S4 drivers, Kies and I'm trying to follow the guide as much as possible
but it says to boot into custom recovery. Doesn't the phone need to be rooted first before I can Flash TWRP or CWM?
Sorry if I sound totally confused here..
my baseband, modem and bootloader are all 4.4.4
If someone could please assist, I would be appreciative.
I have only rooted two other phones, and I followed a step by step guide on XDA, but this version UVUFNK2 seems to be more problematic
Thanks,
Michael

The bootloader on the TMo S4 isn't locked, so you just need to flash the recovery file: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_jflte#Recovery_Installation

If you're looking to make root first go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41797176

How to stock Android???

Well, i have lenovo k8 plus, it has stock android. I want to root it, without pc and i dont know to install twrp so please help me ...???

Need help with picking a custom rom

So in an attempt to root my phone I screwed up and need a stock rom to revert and re-root. (https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/help/switch-supersu-to-magisk-problems-t3943471)
I can't find the stock rom for the latest HTC 10 with bell, so in order to undo the root I figure I could just flash a custom rom? I haven't done much with custom roms since I had my desire so I really need help making sure I don't screw up again.
If I am right and a custom rom will solve my issue with root being detected, what's my best option? Like what rom should I use and how should I flash it to be as safe as possible?
Any help at all is appreciated at this point, I can't even use google pay on my phone with root being detected :/

I can't thank you enough, I didn't think I'd ever find the stock rom, but it won't install for some reason.
I think this may be due to my own stupidity though. When I couldn't find a stock rom I was searching for a work around to use another, I followed some instructions to change something but I don't know what I changed and it didn't allow me to install the rom I was attempting to use so I never thought to make any effort to reverse it.
I believe this is what I did : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76879613&postcount=3059
Any ideas how I can fix that? or is that even the issue?
I greatly appreciate your help, I'm also going to update my original topic on this matter with the link.
