This here is my personal setup and thought i'd share. Usually i test extensively before releasing to public, but if you do find something detrimental to the usage of your device that is either Force Closing or simply not working, let me know and i will in turn inform whether that is something i will tend to.
WETA is made for Music geeks like me, its main focus is stability and Audio. It is Based off latest firmware currently, and will always be using the most up to date firmware base. Rom is debloated mildly to slim down zip size. Apps debloated can be installed via play store. Rom is a deodexed hybrid, meaning apps are deodexed and zipaligned, though all framework files are left odexed for stability and speed.
This ROM is built from stock system images, decompiled and modded by me - Thanks to @ChazzMatt for the 10c kdz

Not sure yet. There is a chance this rom may simply work on the h930, as long as you select to keep your existing kernel and not flash the us996 one. I remember on the v20, that us996 rom worked on a few different variants. No guarantees though. And it may be risky this early on.

Same TWRP image the H930 uses. It's the only one.

The TWRP dev is ignoring us right now (maybe he's really busy?) -- but for the past 1.5 weeks (ever since V30 bootloader unlock success) we've repeatedly requested the title and description be changed to reflect it also works with US998.

Not that you should copy that ROM, but the point is it's a useful audio mod -- and especially since you seem to be focusing on audio properties, that would work well with your ROM.
While root is needed to make that change on STOCK firmware, if you integrate those changes into your ROM, that doesn't require root. It's just part of your ROM...

Yeah sure, I've only had the device two days, so am still trying to gather all the things I want to do to it. I'll have to look into a dual speaker mod as well. I was surprised how much I liked it on my previous device.
I haven't tested Bluetooth audio yet either really, there was all sorts of glitches with the v20, hopefully it's all ironed out in this firmware.
What's the status on Oreo? Is that incoming? Do any v30 devices have it yet? I'd love to get a system dump or kdz even if it's from an h930

Korea LG V30 carrier models have Oreo. One beta tester with US998 claims he has it, but no leaks yet.
Rumor is Oreo for all the other non-Korea models will roll out in March.
Right now all the LG executives are having fun at the Winters Olympics (South Korea) for the remainder of February. They can't be bothered with us.

When I was running the stock rom that shipped with the phone, adb detected my phone perfectly and asked for confirmation on the phone to be allowed to use adb. When running this rom, I do not get that popup and adb does not work. What am I doing wrong?

I think I know what this could possibly be, something I need to change in kernel. Flashing another kernel should fix your problem. Or flash the stock boot.img from somewhere and make sure you root again before booting

My device variant is the 6045O for Cricket Wireless. Has anyone here on that variant have 6.0? I didnt want something to go wrong with the flashing process, and I can already tell that the TWRP build is quite touchy on system mount during install

Awesome! Well I'm quite satisfied with Resurrection Remix 5.1.1 at the moment now that I have finished days and days of work getting the audio engine just right but I fully intend to upgrade to MM just not yet since 5.1.1 is just now perfect but check out the new screenshots, I have Dolby Atmos working finally along with V4A FX and XHiFi and Noozxoide too. My AIO will feature integrated /data partition so all you have to do is the TWRP restore and then boot to my version of Resurrection Remix and its pretty cool so I thought you all might really like it!

I am currently wanting to upgrade to MM. I am on a custom 5.1.1 ROM so how should I go about upgrading? From there I want to start my ROM from scratch get everything I want put into it and Transform this thread into my ROM thread. I promise I haven't forgot about this but can someone point me into the thread I should use to do the upgrade? I'm on Cricket Wireless RADIO. Can I do the update and not lose 4G?
I also have a new Computer now (More Delays On Release) I want to build 6.0.1 but I want it to be fast stable like everyone has on here. Can I bum some of the GitHub Sources? How do I obtain permission for that?

Every 6.0.1 ROM is on here are just customized versions of the stock MM ROM for our devices.
CM13 is being worked on behind closed doors.
Personally I want to see DirtyUnicorns make an appearance on this device so I'll do just that and wait for 6.0.1 sources to stabilize.

Installing this Rom will void warranty. Installing TWRP will trip knox to 0x1! Secure folder and Samsung Pay will be unusable
Hey folks! I bet you know me from the S7/S7 Edge forums
I did/I'm still doing some work there with the SuperStock-Rom (which is quite similar to this rom here on the S8+ actually), or the probably most known Rom on the S7 edge: SuperMan-Rom. So, what's the aim of this rom? Trying to be as close to stock as possible with some nice modifications as: Always up to date, knox fake, auto updated bootloader/modem. You can check full feature list below!
And why the name "BatStock-Rom"? I will do a custom rom (which has similar features to my SuperMan-Rom) with the name "BatMan-Rom" that's why.

HOW-TO Install the rom:
0. Make sure you have ticked OEM Unlock in Developer settings and have a backup of your user apps!
1. Download latest bootloader and modem from here:
Bootloader/Modem
2. Download latest odin
3. Flash BL (bootloader) in BL tab and CP (modem) in CP tab of odin. Then follow the steps on this side until you get a working custom recovery: TWRP for S8+ (to enter download mode, press power+bixby button+volume down)
4. If you are done with bootloader, modem and recovery we can move on, boot into twrp holding power, bixby button and volume up while phone is powered off
5. This will delete all your personal data! In TWRP recovery: Click on wipe, format data and type "yes"
6. Wait until it is finished then click reboot, reboot to recovery
7. Now connect your phone to PC and copy the rom file inside your internal or external sd card
8. Flash the rom and wait until it is finished
9. Reboot your phone and wait till it finished booting
10. After you setup your phone, check if magisk/busybox got installed. If not install them from playstore

Awesome to see so much development for the S8Plus so far. Seems like when the S7 Edge was first released, development was very slow to start - it picked up eventually, but at the beginning, there were very few roms to choose from.
Your Entry into the custom roms in these forums just adds more options - glad to see you here and look forward to continued development.
By the way, per the last posted question - Am I wrong or is it not possible to get Samsung Pay to work on rooted rom? (Even with magisk)? I know Android Pay works fine with Magisk Hide - but I never heard of any rom with SAMSUNG PAY working....of course I could be mistaken....

Yes. If you read aroma carefully you know why. If you update bootloader it will autoreboot in order to actually install the bootloader

That was because I did not have a s7 from the very beginning
Samsung pay was reported working on some s7 users phones. Anyway I could never verify or try myself since it's not even available in my country :/

Download the latest build
Reboot to TWRP (Keep your TWRP up-to-date cause i use the latest updated installer)
Install the Rom using adb sideload or If you downloaded it directly in your phone, just install it by tapping the Install in TWRP and navigate-select the rom.
Aroma installer will guide you through.

nope ! This is an idea of mine.
Freedom is not imperium,
It's pure stock plus anything people want. Everything with an aroma installer to give everyone choices of everything.
Kernel is also stock uncompiled - translated - added some imperium branches - compiled (translated back to the language the hardware "understands") and lastly to avoid any bugs compiled to boot.img
i wanna inform everyone about my plans.
Further more, ok customisation is one thing and the aroma installer will have everything included,
i will remove gapps from being pre-installed.
It's annoying to clean flash a rom and wait one hour for updates. Plus that LG will never update. So i don't see any reason on Gapps being pre-installed.
You will all flash seperately Gapps just like you do on AOSP/Lineage Builds to keep your phones always up-to-date.

First of all it is your rom, so its your choice. In my opinion you have to decide between stock based rom or custom rom. To many compromisses makes the system buggy and laggy as many examples from the past show. Just make a fine, clean and fast rom (just my opinion).

I will stick to stock as a base cause the biggest feat of g4 is the camera. When and if we get Android 7 LG drivers , I'm changing to lineage based for sure.

Nova isn't free !
Provider name is where it always was, in Settings -> More (where Airplane mode is) -> Mobile Networks
Nope, i only change the density. You can change it to anything you want from 530 to 640 (default) or bigger.
I bought Nova AS they Sold it as a special offer around christmas. Is IT possible to Install a few lg Apps, for example the Calender?

ill add LG gallery for h815 too. tomorrow will be there.
The thing is that h811 allowed me to keep more bloat. H815 is TOO bloated with crap from LG. You will notice that in the builds size. Although H811 build is smaller , it has more apps. Anyway , ill see what i can do. It was in my plans anyway.

Installation instructions ( TO BE NON-ROOTED ) :
-Download ROM, and put it on your phone's external storage.
-Reboot into recovery mode - TWRP (I peronally installed this using 2.8.7.0, but newer version recommended.)
-Backup what you had. (Just to be safe.)
-Wipe. (I recommend an advanced wipe, but at least do the basic wipe.)
-Install Rom.
-Reboot and enjoy, reminder, it can take over 5 minutes to boot the first time!
OPTIONAL FOR ROOT:
-After the first boot, reboot into recovery and flash SuperSU. I tested this with 2.79. Remember, it will reboot a few times for the first start up.

As you can see in the pictures above, the inverted camera display has the icon for previous pictures on the right. That looks normal, and so do the pictures (with the exception of having a green bar all down the left side for front camera, right side for rear camera). WIP.

Okay, build with working cellular call/receiving/data is up. I have only tested the H811 version, if any H815 testers could respond, that would be great!

Latest news:
I found a problem when trying to play back videos, where the video displays but is "stuck" on the first frame, while sound continues, now that issue is resolved in the 0815 build.
Also, in the 0815 build, the built in camera app can now take video. All photos taken by any non-built in camera app, such as OpenCamera are completely normal looking without the green bar in the photo. The preview window still shows up "blue" tinted, or inverted, but the photos are normal.
The built in camera app has an issue with photos taken that make it look like the colors have separated.
One step closer. Still in Alpha status. I have slow internet, so look for the download of the 0815 to finish uploading sometime tomorrow.

Yes. However, this H815 version is flash-able on H811. But here is a link to the H811 version:

However, the H815 version is in better condition, as it has working media, that alpha of the H811 can't play certain media types as in video playback, but that is fixed on the h815 release.
With that said, I want to remind you in particular that this is an alpha version. There are some cool features though, like light/dark mode (think the old slimroms trds) and what not. Today I am renewing my CompTIA certifications, so I have been studying for the past two weeks, and will get back to working on this after today.

Seems like the same issue as slim rom...menus end up being grayed out
Except on this rom all the variants are actually compataible and dont overlay properly

Add zip to either internal memory or SD card
OPTIONAL but recommended: Format data. This will erase media too.
Flash zip via custom recovery and read the on-screen information. ROM installs in 2 steps.
After step 1 is complete, you should be able to reboot to recovery and flash the zip again
Follow instructions and make the selections based on your preference

FAQQ: Will this work on A52 4G or A52 5G?
A: No, I included A52s 5G specific vendor with hw libs. This will only work on A52s 5G
Q: Will this work on A73 5G?
A: I have no clue. I've been told HW is very similar with a few lib exceptions but I honestly have no interest on supporting this device. Anyone else is free to try and flash and fix it for A73, you've got my support.
Q: How can I report a bug?
A: Try and be as detailed as possible on how you encountered the bug. If you can include a logcat then even better. The more information provided the more likely it is to get the bug fixed.
Q: Can I flash this ROM without wiping my phone (dirty flash)?
A: There have been reports of this being successful, but I never do it myself. I always try to use the same bases to make the ROMs so in theory it can be done similar to an OTA update. All up to you, a clean wipe is always recommended for the best performance.
Q: Help, I'm getting "secure check fail :" what should I do?
A: This is usually an error produced by mismatch in bootloader and the ROM images. To fix this, the easiest way is to install the latest stock firmware or the firmware best close to the version of the ROM you want to install (install February 2023 firmware if you want to install NcX February 2023 or install stock March 2023 firmware if you want to install NcX March 2023...etc...)
Q: Why aren't OTA updates installed automatically?
A: There's a bit of unfortunate news regarding this. Current OTA updates depend on TWRP's openrecoveryscript which seem to be broken on the latest TWRP official releases on both my A52s and A52. I don't like bothering TWRP devs or maintainers so I've passed on reporting it because it's really not widely used and for some reason stuff like crDroid OTA works fine on it. It could be that I'm working with outdated code but I'm not skilled enough to fix it.
If you want to keep using the latest TWRP, the way you install OTA's is following:
Download the update when available
When pressing Install, it should reboot to recovery. If it doesn't because you don't have Magisk installed, reboot to recovery manually
Once in recovery, select Flash on TWRP or directly navigate to the following directory with OrangeFox
sdcard/Android/data/com.mesalabs.ten.update/files
Flash the zip in the directory and wait for update to finish
[Optional] Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Reboot to system
If you want to use an outdated TWRP with openrecoveryscript working fine (which I really don't recommend unless you only want to use NcX and not any other ROMs), you can install the attached TWRP build which is unofficial and should not be used for any AOSP ROMs. The only benefit you'll get is that OTAs will get installed automatically.
This may be fixed in the future but for now, this is the current state of OTA updates

I've been trying but AFH just keeps getting error after error. I'll give it a shot again tonight see if it can finally upload.

Been waiting on this release for a while
Definitely worth the wait. Easily the best custom ROM for the A52s
Two days into this ROM and so far its stable and good for a daily driver. Battery life is comparable to stock A52s rom. I got 5hrs average SOT, I'm a heavy user. It's just the boot time is longer than usual but it's just a minor issue.
Also, why the name ncx?

I've been told tha tall you need is to flash BL_ from Android 13 and you should be fine but I'd flash all the fw with Odin tbh and then re-root all over again (install custom recovery)

the black ring that appears around the front camera is gone, the ring being gone makes the camera barely usable in low light, hiding the hole punch in the settings reduces the problem a bit but not entirely, other than that its working great and i haven't encountered any bug

AppLock will be removed, doesn't work well. The advanced reboot options will probably be added until next update
I see. I thought the advanced reboot options was just moved somewhere. Regarding about the AppLock, can it be atleast an optional choice? I'd still love to use it .
