Hi, I'm planning a trip to paris this Wednesday and I really want to buy the desire.
Does anybody know if it is available in paris?
Actualy, you can buy it in some orange store (if you're lucky).
Otherwise, in the FNAC (kind of VIRGIN, HMV equivalent) you'll be able to find it quite easily.
Is it available without a contract? I'm not from europe

and what's pixmania.com? do they sell through phoneandphone.com? do they have a store in paris?
Can I buy or reserve the phone online and pick it up (and pay, if reserved) from a store in paris?
I was told I can get a VAT refund if I buy the phone at a real store (not online), are there any stores like that except fnac?

It is said that the Desire is not available in any store for now.
If you're going to Paris next week, the best thing to do is to buy it in an actual store.
The Desire should be avalaible everywhere in France from Monday ! Early buyers only got it today or yersterday. As said above, you can check "La Fnac" , orange store, etc. There is also a Grosbill store in Paris :

Check the website for availability. On the webpage you have, move your mouse in "Vérifier la disponibilité en magasin" (check the availability in store) and if it's green for Paris, then there should be stock on the store.
You should see the FNAC in chatelet les halles. There are some english speakers here.
If they dont have the phone, you will be able to order it.
They are free on tmobile.com not mytmobile.... only pay for shipping & tax. I got 2....
My tmobile store does not show them instock either. But physically going there today they had around 6 on the shelf.

na, i dont think u have to pay taxes. i was looking at the same option. i am currently in UK and will be coming to USA in a few weeks and Im thinking of buying it from one of these companies and getting it shipped to USA. no taxes.
No taxes import duties or VAT. You may pay a foreign transaction fee if using a credit card. That's about it.
I just got my shipping notification from clove. Nothing additional was charged from the purchase price.

the gsm version will not be coming out in the US anytime soon, only the LTE will. expect at least 60 days before you see an official US GSM version

Does anyone know, why OnePlus doesn't ship to New Zealand or How I can buy OnePlus devices with the OnePlus warranty? Because I am in New Zealand and I cannot order OnePlus devices from there website. I have to buy it from local stores and they provide one year warranty. But if I contact OnePlus, they cannot find out anything on my phone using IMEI number. They say it's a dummy phone and they do not provide any support at all.
I did contact to OnePlus, and they said I can buy from Austrailia if my friends or family is living there. If I order that way then I'll have to pay to the customs and it's gonna cost me more than $1000 NZD.
Any Solutions...???

Your best bet, if you want a decent warranty, would be to wait until someone like PBtech start bringing it to NZ. Since they have a pretty reputable local shop, if any issues crop up, they should sort things out much better than any other parallel import shops. I'm also "very impatiently" waiting for it to come to NZ.
