Is there a way to confirm the E988's intended country based on the Serial Number?
I want to be able to match the right TOT file with my phone.
When I bought the phone I was told it was an overseas model, I just don't know from which country

If you have your IMEI you can use the tool above or you can use this link: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=. Just put your IMEI after the equals sign. This page will return some info including the most recent .kdz file for your phone. Post all of the info here and I'll tell you what country your phone is from. JUST REMOVE THE IMEI FROM THE INFO FIRST.
The E988 doesn't have an official TOT file because it is carrier unlocked. However, a .kdz file can be used in exactly the same way. I have seen an unofficial TOT file on baidu but haven't tried it so I don't know if it works.

Yes, this is your firmware. If you follow the guide I linked you should easily be able to flash it.
By the way, it looks like your model doesn't have the kit Kat update yet.

Yes no kitkat up to now.
Regarding the guide, unfornunatelly is the only one that I can found. And no any link working or step by step instructions.

Hmm I remember having problems downloading the files and I couldn't find them anywhere else.
I think I still have them on my computer but I won't be able to upload them until tomorrow.

Does this nv backup contain your device IMEI number
How I restore it
Restore nvram with mtk droid tools, and use your own IMEI.
Open device and copy the IMEI numbers.

Bro now I have no imei because of that the ime/nvram box is washed out I can't access it please help

You're welcome, but... How I can provide these files to you? How can I backup them from my phone? Btw it is not rooted.
can i use it to my other phone? i lost my nvram. my phone's soc is MT6750.

Hey all, I need nvram mtk6739 database file for imei repair, please help me!

I have recently flashed Nokia 5.1 Plus, X5 , but to my mistake I didn't backup NVRAM, and now after successful flash device shows invalid IMEI and serial number is of random digits not original.
So if anyone has backup of APDB and GLU file or database files for Nokia 5.1 Plus ( TA-1105 ), and provide me so that i can write IMEI on my device and the serial number and repair my IMEI on my device, that would be really helpful.

My phone bricked and I used IDT to flash board firmware(android 8). I backup the oeminfo but in case of some mistakes the base version is not matched with cust persion and preload version. And you know, the borad firmware only shows base version. The version of omeinfo I can find on the Internet is 11.x(android 10). I also tried to use otg to update.But it can only be upgraded to 9.1.0.201.I need oeminfo to return to normal. If there is anyone has this kind of oeminfo or knows that I mistook the steps, please let me know.
