Razer Phone stuck in bootloop - Razer Phone Questions & Answers

I tried to update to the latest update to the Razer Phone and was able to install it successfully, but when I went to install Magisk on the new update, it caused the Wifi to stop working. For that reason, I tried to restore my old TWRP backup I made prior to updating which everything was working before updating. I wiped cache, dalvik, data and system and restored my old backup. Now when I try to boot, it gets stuck at the Razer logo and doesn't get past that. I also tried wiping data and restoring the system image only to no avail and it didn't do anything.

Have you tried booting to TWRP and booting The other [email protected]

How long did you wait on the Razer logo.. When I reset my phone after relocking it.. It took 10+min for first boot. I was scared it wasn't gonna work but I just left it alone and it eventually booted itself up

Thanks. I'll try that and see if it works. But I let it sit for 5 or so minutes.
Edit: I'll go ahead and add it was stuck at the Razer logo. It never got to the actual boot animation.
Edit 2: I let it sit for 20+ minutes and it wouldn't boot or get past the Razer logo.

Yes I've tried switching slots and it didn't work.

Any luck with the stuck at logo screen? I followed instructions from Razer and fkashall and now it won't boot to recovery download or system . It just hangs at the logo screen for better part of 2 hours now so it's not a waiting game .. any luck in fixing yours?

hi there, same here after flashing google pixel experience on razer phone1. seems to be a general problem for many users. Any hints?
Best regards
Michael

I have the same problem, but I wasn't updating or installed any new app. I was just ordering food from an app and then all of a sudden my phone restared and got stuck in a bootloop.
I reflashed the stock rom, over and over, slot a or slot b, hoping that would fix it somehow... it's just stuck there now. I could go into download mode and recovery mode. but, it's only until there.
now it's bootloop until it gets into download mode...

I could fix it. After flashing (even Android Pi) you have to do a factory reset.
IMPORTANT: THE FACTORY RESET IN TWRP DOES NOT WORK. So you have to flash the boot-sector in your system partition with the stock boot.img and reset to STOCK RECOVERY by typing "fastboot reboot" and pressing the vol-up button. Once in stock recovery, do a factory reset and return to bootloader. Now you can flash the boot.partition with twrp boot.img, install in recovery the stock boot.img, install the twrp-installer.zip and reboot to system. The bootlogo will not stuck anymore.
I hope, I could help you. Do not forget to backup before trying.
Best regards
Mellus

Stuck on Boot

Im in big trouble right now...
I had installed the StockPlusRom, and for some reason servers went down, so i decided to do a fresh start, boot into CMW and instead of wiping, and also format everything, after that, it obviosly broke everything, after that i tried sideloading (via CMW) 2 different OTA updates, with success, but they get stuck at boot logo (logo freeze), so i tried the StockPlusRom again, and with that option, i only get a black screen...
Is there a way to fix this screwed up ouya?
thanks
nevermind i already fixed it

Make sure to clear cache and dalvik. Not doing it can cause it to stay on the boot screen.
When it ends the install it will ask you if you want to keep recovery, I choose no... And tried to boot, but still gave me the freezing logo, but next time I tried I boot Into the original recovery, I installed from there the last version and it worked.

[Q] N7100 Bootloop, Custom Recovery failure.

It's a problem I've never encountered before.
After charging my phone, I go to my usual routine, facebook-ing. After opening the app, my phone hangs. So, i restarted it. Tried opening facebook again, and it hanged again. Another restart, this time, I didn't open facebook, but tinder instead, still hanged.
To my desperation, I went to recovery to reset my phone, unfortunately, after pressing "wipe all user data"(factory reset), the phone restarted before even finishing the process. Now I'm stuck in bootloop.
Then again, I tried dirty flashing the ROM I used before this madness (DN4), before finishing the format process of the installation, the phone restarted AGAIN.
I don't know what happened to this but I can't get pass "galaxy note II" logo and I can't install any ROMs.
Anyone who have experienced this problem? I've tried any solutions I could think of with no luck. I hope someone could help me with this one. Thank yo u very much.

flash stock through odin. then if everythings works fine you can flash custom recovery and rom again.
Try wiping system and flash again. But Odin seems to be the safest route here.

The only solution that worked was flashing official rom through Odin. Everything seems to work fine now. Thanks!
Congrats.

Frozen on Samsung Logo

Hi. I was trying out Blisspop on this tablet and decided I preferred CM11 so decided to restore a backup. After rebooting, nothing turned on, only download mode worked so I just flashed stock firmware using Odin (which I had used successfully previously). Now it boots but gets stuck at the Samsung Logo. I can still get to download mode, but nothing else. I've read that if factory reset in the stock recovery, it'll work itself out but I can't even get to it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Dont panic really common problem happened to me.
1. Boot into recovery, if not flash one with odin coz your gonna need something...like philz touch or team win or whatever.
2. Wipe cache and dalvik, reboot and wait, samething might appear to happen but it should boot.
Basically ive noticed a few times now on my t805 that the cache wouldnt format propperly and became corrupt and caused this.
I knew this because in the recovery a bunch of errors appeared saying couldnt acces log from cache/blah zt each time i navigated the menu of revoveryand so i wiped cache and they stopped
Booted and viola...if you see any other errors in recovery tell us here.
Good luck m8.

The problem was that I couldn't even get into recovery. But found thread on xda that mentioned if you turn off the tablet from download mode (pressing power and volume down) then you can use the normal three button method to get to recovery. And then yes, I wiped everything I could and it finally booted back up. Thanks for the help mate.

Unbricking a bootloop-ing Nexus 5x without losing data

Hi guys,
Need a bit of help. I was scrolling through Instagram when the phone froze, restarted, and now it just keeps restarting without being able to get past the Google logo. It did get to the colored dots ONCE after powering it down completely from bootloader. I was on stock 7.0 (but August or September security update), stock kernel, but rooted with SuperSU 2.76 and TWRP 3.0.2-1. I just downloaded the factory image and flashed the bootloader, boot, vendor, cache, system (radio is the same), and TWRP 3.0.2-1 and it's doing the exact same thing. I can't even boot into TWRP, it bootloops at the Google logo just the same. EDIT: I was able to get into TWRP once but the phone froze again and rebooted!
I would really like to recover my data partition if at all possible. Please help!
EDIT: I put it in the freezer for half an hour and when I took it out it was able to boot again. Copying my stuff now. Will update when it inevitably breaks again...
EDIT2: Once it warms up it freezes and starts to go into a bootloop again. Damn, most likely a hardware issue.

Mate SE boot loop after unlock

I just recently unlocked the bootloader on my soft-bricked Mate SE.
When it said to unlock it, it also said it was going to factory reset.
I was going to install TWRP to restore a full backup.
It now gets stuck in a loop factory resetting and I don't have access to fastboot.
I'm stuck in this bootloop and can someone help me?
also, I do have a working fastboot, and recovery partition, I just for
some reason can't do anything else, when I reboot it brings up the EMUI
factory reset screen.

Let my phone run out of battery, plugged it in,
vol down and it got into fastboot finally.
