Audio FX and other similar equaliser apps are not working in LOS14.1. This is not any device specific , I tested on other devices too. Moreover other equaliser apps such as Music FX.apk are also not showing up.
I CANT EVEN DISBALE Audio FX so that they could work.
I also tried Viper4Android, But there also no luck :crying:
I used to get some effects on stock rom too:crying:
I am not rooted , custom kernels , other sound mods just have clean LOS14.1.

There have been updates some weeks ago. What device/version/audio source did you test?
Merlin ( Moto G Turbo ) latest 15Feb build and other devices such as Osprey (Moto G3) , condor (Moto E) and D802 ( LG G2) , currently using Merlin but all of them are having same issue
Tested with Headphones and same with speaker also
Also mentioned on respective forums but i think people are least intrested in Audio
My moto e works with Dolby Atmos 6.5.1-for-Nougat-20170407-Condor.zip from afh. Installed when audioFX didn't work.

I got the phone and couldnt get to work the following.
*color mode changes dont work ( leEco, natural mode, vivid etc )
*HIFI does not work.
*Rogers ( canada ) APN settings were not populated so no LTE !!!
*Malware on the device ( automatically installed a lockscreen which was full of adds, when i was asleep. In the morning, i saw some huge male breasts and an ad to reduce them! )
*Few apps do not work from google play store. Google says your device is incompatible with this app.
*TWRP install failures
Here is how i fixed it.
* cucous 12.1 fixes color issues 11 still had issues.
* HIFI still does not work! I'd like to get this working. ( any one?????)
* went to the carrier's webpage, and re created a new APN manually. works fine then.
*few apps not working from play store- Cucous 12.1 fixes this. (atleast few ones i wanted )
*TWRP 3.0.0 worked fine. TWRP 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 didnt work for me. It wouldnt go into system. It will just boot back into TWRP.
I tried installing viper4android ( flashed zip ) on cucous 11s ( not on 12.1 )and worked fine. ( this is a huge. Viper4android pleases audiophiles in every way possible. Better than ATMOS, i'd say. ) I'd still like to get hifi working to get more power to my headphones as they are power hungry ( sennheisers hd598)

I'm using the CM12.1 collapseromer ROM from date: 20160628 on my LeTV 1 Pro US/CE version

Hifi (Dolby Atmos and Viper4Android) works with this fix perfect: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67579077&postcount=109
1. I flashed the ROM with TWRP 3.0.2 which works perfectly
2. Then flash right after ROM OpenGApps arm64 5.1 nano version.
3. Next the AudioFX / Atmos fix (https://mega.nz/#F!Gk1S1ayZ!xKjkMk4uXAM_ckFRzX9QbA)
The ROM has right now only problems with Cell Tower/ WiFi location service (so the power save mode). But GPS and Device location works.
The first ROM from Collapseromer (20160512) had problems with playing videos, this was fixed in the newer one (20160628), but the new one introduced, like described above, the WiFi location bug.
Color temperature can be customized in "Live Display" settings.
Notification LED is working in all colors and can be customized in the supported APPS like WhatsApp, NINE....etc.
BTW for the newer ROM 20160628 you don't need the mute switch fix its already included !
We who are with the collapseromer CM12.1 ROM are still waiting for a CM13 ROM for the LeTV 1 Pro US version. As all mentioned version will actual brick your 1 Pro US phone right now !

I think audio fx of cm cant work in miui, even maybe no one tried to port it, but there are so many awesome sound mods available which are so far better than audiofx, I prefer dolby atmos you can check it from here:-

I just tested several Sound Mods for Android. So I want to share my best settings for the HTC U11 + U sonic Earphones with you.
Working on:
Stock based ROM (8.0 based)
LOS based ROM (8.1 based)
Install Viper4Android via MagiskManager (Get it from here or directly under Downloads in Magisk, I am using Viper4Android 2.6.0.4 with the new Material Design)
Reboot
Install the AINUR Audio Mod (Get it from here or install it directly through Magisk Manager -> Downloads -> Ainur Sauron.)
Reboot
Install AML(Audio Modification Library) via Magisk or flash it from here
Reboot
Open Viper4Android. Driver Status should be working now. If not dirty Flash your ROM and start again at 1.
Load my HTC U11 Profile that I attached to this post. When using Viper4Android FX greater or equal to version 1.6 than use the v2 Profile. Everything lower than Viper4Android FX 1.6 just use the v1 Profile. Unzip the attached File to the Viper4Android Folder at the Internal Storage of your Device. Dont forget to load the Profile in V4A.

Did you already installed another soundmod? This happened to me after I flashed ARISE. Only a full wipe helped me out. I am also using Leedroid R124.
I uninstall sauron and aml befor i try to flash all the stuff in the way you describe it. Before i have sauron only.
After i uninstall dolby in twrp the phone boots up normaly.

Hmm maybe its a problem with sauron that Dolby dont work when you flash sauron before. As I said I recommend a complete wipe then it should work without any problems.

I saw in Leedroid thread that you have to change a line in arise_parameters1.prop , to avoid bootloops
After flashed as your instructions, everything works like a charm bur only ANC not work anymore
I finally got it to work, but sound quality is not as good as on Dolby Atmos Nougat, I think I will stick to V4A + usb dongle boost mod till dolby is updated
Will just the viper4Android work and give good sound quality

Actual Dolby can't work while V4A works, at least with me, I have to disable one of them so the other work, but anyway actual dolby on oreo is not good as audio quality, it was way better on Nougat
I have yet to get Ahrion's version of Viper4Android FX to work. Even his AM3D Zirene Sound hasn't worked for the 11 since Magisk. The only one that works for me is ShadySquirrel's for Magisk v15.

I can use Ahrion's version, but it has to be the v1.5.2/2.5.0.5 version. I've never been able to get any 2.3.4.0 versions to work on Oreo, due to the driver not being able to install.
Anybody get Dolby to install? I'm getting Api error

I'm running both Unity versions on Lee's rom, have to restart Viper everytime i start playing some music but apart from that little annorance it is great

I must reckon the new Dolby port on Oreo is pretty good, I am using dynamic selection to boost both surround and bass. Always be sure to have Dolby surround mode On (green icon)

How did u get Dolby to run? Mine opens up and close right away. I'm on ledroids rom.

Features:
- Enable dual speaker (report if it works, is a little diferent from my old a7 2018) may be work in GSI and Customs.
- Optimize the audio using dolby in any preset, modified to feel more bass in music mode. So GSI not support it and customs if not change so much the dolby function.

question currently running PixelOS rom and i'm rooted would like to instal a sound enhancer was going to do vipper but after watching Munchy 2021 video it looks like a pain in the azz ,and not sure if that method will work on android 13 unless changed since then what are my options ? Im rooted is their a simple instal module or something I can install ? just want to enhance the sound of a bluetooth speaker , I know this rom comes with miui headphone enhancer but it only works if you plug in head phones kind of a waste , any suggestions or help would be great!
