[MAGISK MODULE] Pixel Stereo speakers magisk module - Google Pixel XL Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hi XDA, I reversed engineered chdloc's dual stereo speaker mod into a magisk module for simple and easy installation, it is simply just flash the module in magisk and profit! I will be uploading to the official repo soon, but here is the zip for now. Have fun!
The mod is NOT for loudness, @chdloc told me that if I try to make it louder, it would cause distortion with the speakers. This is why I included the pixel speaker ctrl app
The Permissive module is Required it is inside the download folder that you can navigate via the the link
If you are on an AOSP rom with the July patch, your SE linux may be permissive already, check in settings before flashing the permissive module
Download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1JUiNXuEyeEPzbcqTdWpAW9tF_EJSyw26

Devs'll Probably want it here ....
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/themes
And great work man. I've been watching that development to see if there's some flashable zips that come out. Here it is. You the man. Crack flashing continues.
On CM Based Xenon 2-20-2018 so I'd imagine this just works on anything.
Have a good one.

this awesome thanks, works good on lineage

this is great!

Is the top speaker supposed to he very faint?

Honestly I can't tell if it works and its sound is very low or if the sound comes only from the bottom and just doesn't work properly for me only.
How should I find if the install was successful?

I'm currently in the process of implementing a tasker script for balancing this, It works when you use tasker, but trying to integrate it on boot in the module

I'm working on a way to make so that you can remove the app if you want. I just need to figure out how to put a custom shell script into the module. Any thoughts? (I'm a n00b at making these)

[MOD][SOUND][BUG FIX] Z1 Lollipop viper4android sound

This is a sound mod for stock Lollipop ROM and is tested on c6906 but should work on c6903 and c6902 models. All scripts and files are not mine. All credits go to their owners, I just made the tutorial for you to enjoy bug free good sound on your z1.
Note: this will set your SElinux to permissive, if you don't know what it means research a little. It's a security lock on your phone to make it more secure and it will disable it.
1. Install busybox on your phone.
2. Install SELinux apk and open it to set kernel to permissive.
3. Boot to recovery and flash "testlolliviper.zip", no need to wipe anything.
4. Open Viper 4 android app on your app drawer and install drivers then reboot.
5. Enjoy your bug free Lollipop improved sound.
Note: SELinux must be kept as permissive for Viper mod to work.
Script credits go to their respective owners, I do not own any of the mods. I just made this tutorial since no one has done one for our z1.
all i need is usb/dac amp option and it still doesn't work, rest are working. and it works on my ZTE v5 redbull but not on my z1 (Shame ).

Maybe it cannot be functional with dseehx mod??
Though i found a workaround
Use standard 2.3.4
trigering the dseehx (both enable/disable)will enable v4a to work for few seconds.
Enable DSEE-HX..... some seconds later v4a dead right?
now keep the music playing
now press home to leave music-> enter music again->quit->enter->quit->enter->quit
repeat a few times v4a will suddenly work (forever) when u leave walkman by pressing home = =

I got it to work too, and I didn't have any problems wei ugh them being both enabled. Might be a file you have or a line that interferes. But it's good you got it to work.

[Magisk Module][13/01/18] Collection of Systemless Tweaks

I made a simple mod for myself, but I thought I'd share it. I wanted to disable the lights of the hardware buttons without disabling the keys, which other mods provided.
All it does is execute this command:
For capacitive lights
Code:
echo 0 > sys/devices/soc/leds-qpnp-10/leds/button-backlight/max_brightness
For night light
Code:
<bool name="config_nightDisplayAvailable">true</bool> in framework-res.apk
For auto brightness
Code:
<bool name="config_show_auto_brightness">true</bool> in SystemUI.apk
Downloads:
[NOUGAT+]:-hw_backlight - only disable capacitive lights
[NOUGAT ONLY]:-MiA1tweaks - disable hw lights + night light + autobrightness quicksetting toggle
Check attachments
Updates:
13/01 MiA1tweaks_v2.zip - Added auto brightness toggle in quicksettings, next to brightness bar.
13/01 MiA1tweaks.zip -Added capacitive light disabler + night light enabler ONLY for nougat. If someone could provide the framework-res.apk who is running Oreo, I could make for 8.x also.
This is my first module, so if anything is wrong pls inform.
Thanks working great on Oreo

They're in the Magisk Module Repo.
You only need to install the modification library if you install other audio mods aside from Viper. What you might've been missing is the Audio Compatibility Patch(also in the repo). This is needed to allow all audio(such as Soundcloud that uses it's own EQ) to go through Viper. The only downside with the compatibility patch on the P2XL, it causes stuttering when 2 audio sources try to overlap each other for a good, lets say 10 seconds?

I use this viper and have to remove and reinstall this audio mod Everytime there is a viper update. I forgot to mention I had overlap over Bluetooth about 50% of the time for the duration of use. I disabled music fx and it fixed it. For viper I choose new and original theme.

These files (links) does not work, cause infinite loop. And you will have to uninstall the magisk to resolve and then just install the magisk again.
