FM Radio Play/Pause not working on earphone button. - Xiaomi Mi Max Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hi All,
FM Play/Pause using earphone button not working. When i press button on earphone, It stops FM and resumes Music player (Google's Music Player or VLC). I experience this issue with all Rom except MIUI ROM's. I even tried install couple of stock FM radio apk's but all crashes and some doesn't even install on any stock rom.
Can anyone have a solution for this or any changes i have to do, Please guide me. I am FM lover and want to have play/pause using earphone button.
MIUI Roms are having that feature.
Please replay or email me to [email protected]. :good:
Also, All Rom's Camera shows dark in video mode. Is there any settings i have apply here, Please let me know.
Thanks

Hy all
I switched from the Defrost Rom to a Sense rom and now i have a problem
With Defrost and the Stock Music Player i could switch the song without turning the device on via the Volume Up and Down keys in the Stock Android Music app
Now with the Sense-Rom I can not do this anymore. Is there an app or a service or whatever to do that? I don't like it to take the device everytime out of the pocket and turn it on.
I don't want to buy a Headset with controll butons, because i have very good headphones!

Didn't your phone too come with the headset that has pause/next track/previous track hardware buttons on it?
you do not even have to take the phone off your pocket this way
Argh xD
The headphones that were with the phone are terible. They sound even worse, than the iphone headphones... so this is no solution!
Ah comeon... There must be someone who knows this!
I read once, that there is a service (that requires Root) that will enable the function to switch the Track with de Volume U/D buttons, but I never found what's the name of it!
I´m also missing this feature in Sense Roms to skip the song with a long press on the volume button. Nobody else is missing this?

stop button of BT headphone not functioning when in ICS

Is anybody experiencing the stop button of BT headphone not functioning when in ICS.
When I was using gingerbread, I did not have any issues with using the stop button of a BT headphone.
Now flashed Mr.X stock ICS rom - both the stock music player and ubermusic, poweramp, etc the stop button of the
BT headphone will not function.
Maybe If I push the Bluuetooth services from Gingerbread to ICS, will it fix the problem?
All of the music players that I tried , under the ICS when I use the BT headphone the play, pause or stop button do not function. Be it the stock music player or a music player that I DL from the market. When I go back to gingerbread, the play, pause, stop button works/functions.
I think it has something to do with the ICS rom.
Is anybody experiencing this issue?
My BT headphones' buttons work, but only with the stock player. I'm on stock rooted Telus ICS.
The most irritating bug is with my BT handsfree in the car (Motorola T505), I can't initiate a call without physically unlocking the phone and going to the voice talk app, the phone won't take a command while locked.
Let me install again the stock music player, I'll check if it works.
The last time I checked it did not work
Yeah you're right... I checked it again, it works with the stock music player, other players it doesn't!

[Q] Is it the ROM or the kernel the changes the Bluetooth MAP?

I hope I'm using the correct terminology concerning Bluetooth. Here's my situation:
When connecting to my car's built-in bluetooth audio with stock ROM the music artist, song title, album, etc work great. I can skip and pause songs. This also works on other TouchWiz roms like i747z. This is using Google Music.
However, every time I try to use any CM builds I lose those features on my car radio. I can still skip songs and pause but I don't get any of the music info. So I'm wondering if it's something in the ROM or something in the kernel that is causing that loss of features.
Has anyone seen something similar and figure out a way around it. I love CM but I really miss that feature when I don't have it. Thanks

That's actually a problem with AOSP 4.2 and I don't think much can be done until we see official 4.2.
P.S.: It's called AVRCP.

Some more info would be nice: f.i. what headset are you using, what button do you push
Sorry for the brief info. I am using a tekfusion twin subwoofer earphone which has is actually an headset. I have the call receive/end button on the earphone. Earlier when i had not rooted the phone (and even now in other phones),when i double click that button on the earphone , the last contact from the call log would be called. Now when i do the same, the music starts playing from my default music player on the phone. Please help regarding this. Thanks in advance.

Install an app for changing button behavior just go to play store and type in headset button or so

Default is a subjective state, perhaps the creators/modifiers of CM10 have changed the default action of the button to open the music player? For me that would be logical. Gives me an easy way to access music while out on my bike.
If you want the action back, either ask the rom creator to explain how, or use a play store app to change it. Simples.
Oh, and from what you've described, the stability is not in question, given it starts the music app every time you press the button...

[Q] Please Help me guys!!

Hi!, I had a serious nerve racking problem with Samsung Galaxy W since I flashed it with another official stock ROM in which I got much more languages including the french one. But the problem is that when the earphone is plugged in to listen to my music, it starts switching the soundtrack I am playing to another one that I wasn't playing, it even stops playing :'( . And it's the same **** everytime I want to play my music from the default music player or the one installed like Poweramp. So please help me to fix this!. Even when I wanna listen to my FM radio it shuts down by itself and I could hear some weird beeps from my earphone. The Autostarts apps won't solve at all my problem! :'(
[Q] My phone plays and stops music by itself when the earphone is plugged in, but once removed from it everything works fine! :'(

I am not sure about the default music player, but poweramp has a feature like the one you described. When you plug in the headphone, it resumes playing. (An autostart musicplayer feature). Check the settings under poweramp player and hopefully you will see that option somewhere. I am not using poweramp so I can't tell you where exactly that option would be.
The other issues you desribe, I don't know. It may have something to do with the conflict between poweramp and FM radio... Maybe. I am not sure. See what happens when you disable the option I described above.
The stock rom don't have a FM radio app, so use Spirit FM, search the apk and download it.
And this problem happens with me too, but only sometimes. When I'm using a Bluetooth headset, no problems, but when I use a normal earphone, some lags occur.

Okay thanks for your help but now the problem is solved after disabling the "media button pressed" event's from the pre installed music player and many other apps running on your Android's system. It requires root access to be allowed "Autostarts.apk". Anybody else having the issue could use this app to fix it!
