Where could i find a case with headphone jack and whireless charger? - Google Pixel 2 XL Accessories

Hi,
Ive seen a case on some dudes iphone 10 with a charging port, headphone jack and apperantly powerbank inside of it (wich is triggered on a button press)
My question is, has anyone found something along the lines of that for a pixel 2 xl? it would be nice to see something like that with whireless charging in it.
The powerbank isnt really a needed thing since i have a big capacity hand held one with solar panels in them
or has anyone in general found a whireless charger case for the pixel, i dont want those charging pads wich you stick in your charging port and then behind your case, because it prevents me from connecting my phone to my pc directly,
Kind regards

Sadly Ive been waiting for one of these since I bught a pixel in 2017
Sorry I don't have a good answer I want exactly what you have described. Bu since October 2017, Ive not found one. I think the pixel is still too much of a rare phone for accessory manufacturers to be bothered

yeah, me too, i lowkey gave up on looking for them, all i found was powerbank cases, i ordered one waiting for it to come tho

We're lucky to even get that. Personally, a battery bank with type-C Power Delivery does the job for me when I know I'll be taking a lot of pics and videos. I have the old short, thick design but there a handful of tall, slim ones now just barely smaller than the footprint of the Pixel 2 XL.

Has no one found a case like this yet for the pixel 2 or XL??? I'm actually genuinely interested in this. I found a case for the iPhone that added a headphone jack and while I love my Sony 1000x m2 sometimes I just like to plug in with without fear of battery drain or disconnecting. No Bluetooth headset is perfect and never really will be when you cut cables.

If any of you guys used any of these, what is your experience with it? Also if you could provide info on whether or not the Nexus 5 will stick on there until a certain angle or will it slip right off even if you move the charger around. Asking this because i'll be using it in the car also.
Thanks
I have the Lugulake one. It's good, works well, charges the phone in a very similar time to the wall charger and has a decent grip on the phone, not sure how good it'd be in car tho. But.... I also want one of these which I'll be ordering soon for the car -

I think both of those devices are available on Amazon and for under $50. I'm thinking of getting the first one. Vent mount and I can use my SGS3 with it.

I have one I got on ebay that is 10,000mah and looks identical to the first link. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/141047804367) It cost $37 (looks like the price dropped a little since) and so far I'm very happy with it, though I've only used it a bit when traveling. It does take a while to charge since 10,000mah on a 1A charger is 10hrs. I haven't really carefully tested its functionality though. I wonder if its current discharge limit is lower than it says, though, since I noticed when I had my n5 plugged into it the 2.1A port and under heavy use (games) the phone battery didnt charge, it only discharged slower... I'll have to test more.

Questions regarding of the magnetic charger

I just bought the compact from a person for $300 that came with everything, including case, magnetic charger, magnetic dock, and screen protector. I have a question, should i use the magnetic charger or should i get a better one? If so, what do you recommend that i should get? I hear rumors that some magnetic chargers can mess up the charging port of the phone and can damage it. I need some opinions. I cant upload the pic but I provide a link of how the charger looks like.

Thats all i needed to know, Thank you sir!
One more thing. Before firts charging install elixir2 and turn it on and in battery section after plug in you will see Info about charging value of voltage and speed on mAh. Compare to stock charger. My first cable was crappy and charged very slowly. Seller replace cable without problem. These values was smaller on bad cable. But second one is good so far. So extra edvice check this firstly.
Peace yo
Yep, my magnetic charger from eBay seems to charge my z1c faster

I know right, My phone usually get charged up to 4 hours....It seems kinda normal, but I just got the Magnector X Charger from Amazon yesterday and damn it is so good, holds the phone well with strong magnet and usually get charged around 2-2.5 hours...the sad part is that It won't fit in my case smh!!!! I have to remove it in order to use the Magnector X Charger....Im referring to the charger only, not the Adaptor , but it still good tho.
So, I have a question..The magnetic charger I bought was a generic one that came in a blue and white box from ebay and it does come off the phone too easily and seems to fall off a lot. It was very inexpensive so I think you may have a better quality one? Does your stay on firml;y? or does it fall off easily?
I may look for the one yopu have.
Another question; Logically I will get the Xperia Z3 Compact Next. does the magnetic charger work on the new Z3 Compact? Anyone?
Thanks!

I really don't know much about the original magnetic charger i got since it comes with the phone that I bought from the gentlemen. It seems strong but not too strong tho, I had to move it a bit around to get it to hold, it does not fall off too easily, i would say average, but I recommend that you go to Amazon and buy the Magnector X Charger (Adaptor or Cable) if money isn't an issue to you. Im telling you that the Magnector X has a very strong magnet than the magnetic charger I been using....You won't regret it! I never own a Xperia Z3 compact since its too expensive but I have a buddy who owns it and i let him used my charger and it fit quite well....every magnetic charger should be compatible to all xperia devices (Z1, Z1c, Z2, Z3, Z3c), I mean come on, they look the same lol. Go for the Magnector X If you want a powerful magnet and if the cost isn't too much for you.
Just purchased the Magnetor X from Amazon for around $14.00. Strange why Ebay does not list it?

They have released Xperia "X Compact". According to past pattern, they might release a new model around October.

Not using the htc cable and charger causes a problem?? Is there any truth in it?

Spotted these on my Google feed and it got me wondering.
http://m.androidcentral.com/my-htc-10-hates-pixel-c-charger
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/phandroid.com/2016/05/18/htc-10-usb-type-c-incident/amp/
I've personally used the following chargers with a lot of USB C cables.
HP elite x2
Huawei 6P
Galaxy s5
IPhone 4/5/6/7
Usb 3 on a laptop /pc
To name but a few, the chap in the article says that his phone superheated, my phone obviously gets hot /warm /warmish when charging but no more than I'd expect.
I'd prefer not to shorten my batteries life expectancy and I know it's probably best practice to only use the htc charger, but would these other chargers actually do any damage?
I also never overcharge my devices and I've not had any problems as yet.
Anyone else had any issues?
Cheers
I doubt it cause critical problems, but I always use HTC cable and chrage just in case.

I have several cables and chargers because I travel and work and spend time in different rooms in my house, I'm not going to cart one charger around with me all the time, if I did it would be a first on any phone.
Its just when I read about it I can't remember seeing an issue with chargers / cables on previous devices.
Hyperbole stuff. The cable themselves support up to 20V/5a. The phones he is testing on supports PD1.0 not 2.0 or 3.0(3.0 currently being developed). The cables are agnostic and if you use a wall charger then you will be fine. You just have to watch out for knock offs, or cheap crap that cut corners.

The ones I buy are Monoprice ones. They are slightly more expensive but they do have a lifetime warranty. Samsung ones do scare me. They are so much smaller than I am comfortable with. They always seem to cheap out on them.

Wireless charging

Could anybody recomend a good wireless charging receiver and case combo that work well together? I've tried to slide several business cards under Spigen Rugged Armor to imitate a real receiver (probably receiver is actually thinner than two cards). The case pops up showing an ugly hump.
Spigen Thin Fit has an indent specifically for a wireless charging receiver... It also doesn't cover top/bottom of the phone so the receiver ribbon and plug fits perfectly. I have one and it works great(w/short version receiver) . Another is the Pitaka real cf MagCase. Both offer decent protection, if you need a heavy duty case I'm not sure which work

BTW, what is the real thickness of a wireless charging receiver?

Very interesting. Can you please let me know which wireless receiver you are using... Some that I have used in the past never provided enough current for the phone to even detect so it did not charge.

You can. Search for "wireless charging receiver". The question is how to hide it under a case. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of "Spigen Thin Fit".
I've tried and returned several wireless charging receivers and the only one that actually worked well was Cusorient: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0713ST47Z
The other receivers would only charge anywhere from 50-250 mA but this one has been averaging from 750-1000 mA and puts a smile on my face. There are times I have seen it charge 500 mA or less but not often. I'm happy I finally found one that works well because I'm heavily invested in wireless chargers from having previously owned a Nexus 6. I even bought a spare charging receiver in case I ever screw up the ribbon cable. My case on my phone is a Spigen Thin Fit and while I can tell it's there, it's not a huge ugly bump and the case still fits properly.

That little indent is actually for a metal plate that goes with their magnet mounting system. It even says what it is for on the case when you get it. Now, sure you can probably use it for wireless charging receivers too, just trying to prevent the spread of misinformation

Wow. That's terrible. If that's the best we can expect to get with these receivers, I give up on getting wireless charging on this phone. Luckily, now that Apple added Qi to the iPhone 8, Google basically has to in the upcoming Pixel.
https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Google-Wallet-Design-Holder/dp/B07474KKY2
I think using this case paired with a QI receiver would be the best bet right now. You could put a receiver in the wallet section, create a small recess for the ribbon and have a great solution.
Using cases seems to be hit or miss and taping the thing to the back of my $800 phone just aint gonna happen.
Google really biffed on this one, an expensive phone like this should have every feature available plus some. Or at least accessories to add them. I love the pixel, but I love wireless charging too. I missed it ever since my Nexus 5. I have not had a phone with it since, but definitely would like to see it return to a Google Device.

I looked at that one but my concern is the receiver being right against the finish of the phone and if it gets hot would it cause any damage? I've been looking for a case with the TPU then outer shell I can put the receiver between. Have you noticed anything with the finish/coating being damaged?

I've taken the case off often for general cleaning or from necessity of needing my USB port for one reason or another and I have not noticed any sort of damage to the phone or case surface at all.
What about the one CNET did an article on???
Article:
h t t p s://www.cnet.com/how-to/i-spent-13-to-add-wireless-charging-to-my-android-phone/
Device:
h t t p s://www.amazon.com/dp/B074SHBXC5?tag=cnet-vig-howto-20
I have that wireless receiver on my pixel 2 XL. It charges up alright but slow by comparison. I have a Satechi inline usb-c power meter and connecting in between the receiver and the phone, it's showing the receiver supplying around 750-800mA. Of course this may vary with the wireless charger, but that's what I'm seeing. I would estimate it charges about 30-40% as fast as a wired charger.
I'm using this with a Spigen Rugged Armour case and find that it made quite a bump on the back. I have sanded some of the inner part of the case away to relieve this with a Dremel and it's an improvement. Why they don't make cases with these cutouts or a removable panel to accommodate a wireless receiver I have no idea.
Actually, I wonder if there was any interest in me machining these cases to order. I could make a fixture to allow me to rout out these cases to accept a wireless charging receiver.

It does ok, does better with a fast wireless charging base. About 5-10% per hour with my old wireless chargers vs 15-20% per hour with a generic fast wireless charger.

TLDR: Only Googly things worth purchasing (on sale) are the stand and fabric case.
Congrats on the new phone. You can buy anything in the box on Google... but why? They are ALL overpriced and there are many quality USB-C charging products out there. Deals abound right now on equivalent stuff. I took my P3XL out of the box and just plugged it into my existing P2XL stuff. Everything is still in the P3XL box. One useful thing is the USB-A to USB-C dongle which I use for USB thumb drives, but you can get that anywhere. I did break down and buy a G Stand when they were on sale half-price on BF. No way would I pay $80 for this. Still kicking myself for paying $40 BUT it is fast charging wireless and more importantly lets me use the phone on my desk at the right angle and it doesn't move around. Solid piece of kit once you switch off EVERY other function but wireless charging. Oh, and I ordered a carbon fabric case because I loved that on my P2XL.
Careful of low quality USB type C cables. I find even the Anker ones I bought on Amazon don't charge my phone as fast as the Google ones after only using it for a month... (Used ampere to check charge speed) And if you buy some really crappy ones you can kill your phone. Don't skimp on cables or chargers... My friend asked me why his phone doesn't register inputs properly when he's charging and he had cheap cables (the phone was doing funky stuff while plugged in)
Something like this might be a good buy for you
