[Q] How to get root access on Xperia Arc LT15 i build 4.1.B.0.431

Hi All,
I have currently updated my Xperia Arc LT 15i to build 4.1.B.0.431. I haven't rooted my phone till now. Its my first time and I want to know step by step procedure to root my device.

There's a thread dedicated to rooting 4.0.4. Find it.
Next time ask your question in the q&a forum before a mod locks this and you don't get an answer

There is thread dedicated to rooting flashed 4.0.4, not stock 4.0.4, so I am also wondering how to root my device!

There is a working root for 4.3 if u want update phone OTA to 4.3 then root or if you can't OTA u will have to flash the 4.0.4 method.
The mod will lock this so please view the forum dedicated to this.

By stock do you mean updated through pc companion or seus?
ATM there's no way to root without flashing

So many threads about rooting ICS, if you come from 4.0.3 rooted then you must do the OTA (over the air) to update to 4.0.4 and you will keep the root, very simple and indeed there is not yet a root kit by Doomlord so ne patient and not posting tons of threads how to roor 4.0.4, right uppercorner stands...SEARCH
And is that not possible to do the ota flash then a costum rom

Debranding the Arc S ?

Hi just wondering if anybody knows how to debrand the 3 UK Xperia Arc S. I have de-branded an Xperia Play before but I cannot find the approriate files for the Arc S. Any help would be appreciated.

First of all, you should ALWAYS post your doubts in the Q&A forum.
To debrand the phones flash with flashtool any generic firmware, here you have 4.0.4 firmware for the ARC S : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583010

Once installed and debranded.
look for how to root once you got this you can get rid of all the bloatware that is installed.

Yeah I will do but I have read that currently there's now way to root the 4.0.4 update yet for xperia arc s when i had the Play i used one click root.

Yes , you can root 4.0.4.
You have to flash 4.0.4 ftf, after that you have to flash 4.0.3 kernel ( you have to download 4.0.3 ftf and flash just kernel with flashtools).
After you have your arc/arc s with 4.0.4 rom and 4.0.3 kernel , you use the one click method for the 4.0.3.
After you just need to flash 4.0.4 kernel and you have a full 4.0.4 (rom+kernel) rooted

for rooting my lt26w successfully at the previous version.
After the update from official released of stock rom 6.1.A.2.55 by using Sony PC Companion,
the rooting seems doesn't work for my device.
Any other ways for rooting the device?
I have done some searching on the google and here but can't seems threats to solve the problem.
My Android Version is 4.0.4 ICS with Locked Bootloader,

Hi, friends i have some questions, I was looking in the forum but I was unable to find them. I am a owner of a Xperia SL Lt26ii. Android: 4.0.4 and compilation: 6.1.A.2.55. I want to root this phone but they keep telling me that first it need a downgrade. So... you are the expert ones. Can you help me in this? Thanks.

No need to downgrade to a older firmware if you want to root the 6.1.A.2.55 firmware. You can use this tool and root your phone by simply clicking one button - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2204321
