Joying PX5 Recovery menu - MTCD Android Head Units General

I have the HU with no front buttons or sdcard. Finally was able to get into recovery (kind of) by using the keyboard method, right Alt + PrintScreen and E key presses.
What I assumed was the recovery screen would flash so fast I could not read it, had to record video and go frame by frame.

I can't get into recovery if I don't have an SDcard? If so, I will look into the hardware mod.
Is there a naming convention for the update image? So when I plug in USB flash drive it will recognize and prompt for update.
Edit: suck at inserting images
Here is recovery picture link
https://imgur.com/57BS7Aq

The Name for the Update is update.img and dmcu.img for MCU Files.
On my "HA" Device i can only install Updates from SD Card. Looks like Recovery doesn´t mount USB Drives.
In Androids System Update it founds the Update File on USB. But when it starts into Recovery, it cant also mount the USB Drive.
But on SD Card, no Problems...
Can you start in recovery from System? You have to be rooted. Maybe you can mount the USB Drive from there?!
btw: What the Keyboard method?? I also have no Hardware buttons, only the Reset hole.

Hello,
I have a x9076. I tried the method in this thread by executing find7_repair.bat. Choose the '1' option and then waited. In the thread, it said that do not unplugged phone from PC until devices reboot. However, phone never reboot after about 10 minutes. So I disconnect and and remove battery. Put battery back in. Now display is completely dark. I have tried normal boot, boot into recovery and fastboot. But all the same. Black screen. I tried booting into fastboot and connect to PC, fastboot cannot detect. Any suggestions? The phone does vibrate when I press power button for a few seconds.

CD Installer USB option - possible to repurpose?

When I plug my phone into my PC it offers me the option to expose the phone as a virtual CD ROM drive presumably mounting an ISO on the filesystem.

Think it'd be possible to change the ISO to mount windows 10 or linux live CDs?
edit: Seems the file mounted is /system/etc/PCTOOL.iso and seems like my PC would boot from it...
This is that the drivedroid app does, if that helps any

If you replace /system/etc/PCTOOL.ISO with another valid ISO file, that'll mount when you choose that option. This was done a long time ago on the EVO 4G LTE. The ISO was replaced with adb & fastboot tools and an automatic command prompt.
See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1720559
I don't see why something like that can be done on the 10 as well.
P.S. At one point I even tried running Ubuntu from it, but that got crazy, lol
Drivedroid requires root, was more of a thought exercise to avoid rooting the device.

Erisin 7873CD stuck on bootload logo

Hello,
I have head units Erisin 7873CD. This is full touch device, only reset is physical button.
Two weeks ago, device stuck on bootload logo when I try set the GSM modem.
I tried several ways by entering to recovery mode but none unsuccessful. I'm in contact with the seller but he can't help me.
Could anyone describe a procedure to enter the recovery menu?
Is it possible to refresh the system using an SD card?
Maybe, another way to factory reset?
Information of my device:
MTCE_LM_V2.88
Android 8.0 4GB px5 rk3188 1024x600

ok, I entered to recovery menu by keyboard and sd card.
But "Wipe data / factory reset" that didn't work. I can't install update.zip from the seller.
An error pops up: E:Signature verification failed / Error 21".
Can someone explain to me what I can do?
My recovery procedure:
I insert SD card with sdupdate (from https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75173768&postcount=3)
When recovery menu loaded, i can't move an any option so I plugged keyboard and press "alt right + print screen + e" then recovery again loaded with controls by dpad keys.

Can't reboot to download mode?

I've been trying to reset to stock to sell my LG v30 via this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/us998-stock-pie-lg-v30-us998-us99830b_00_0902-kdz.3952256/
But I can't seem to reboot into download mode to be able to flash it via LGUP. When I try, I turn off the phone, plug in the cable with the volume up pressed then I see:
A brief flash of download page
The "be careful bootloader is unlocked page"
Download mode for a few seconds
Then I get stuck on this "firmware update" page.
Any ideas? I've uploaded a picture of that screen I get stuck on.

That is download mode
Thanks for the quick reply! Really? Is it normal to have all those "Unknowns" written on the screen? Honest question, it's been a long time since I messed with my v30.
I'd imagine it's a problem with my computer not connecting then... Is there any drivers I need to install? I installed the LG drivers from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...estore-official-firmware-on-your-v30.3738917/
I couldn't even read that until I zoomed in. I don't remember either if 'unknown' is normal, but that's download mode, that's where you want to be. If you're just trying to get to stock anyway, it shouldn't matter what's on there now, it's be wiped when you flash to stock.

g960w stuck booting into recovery

Hi. I have a phone, not mine, given to me broken in this state, so not sure how it got into this state. I can only reboot it into recovery mode:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Some things.
1. Volume up doesn't work. Apparently it didn't work when the phone was working.
I wonder if it's stuck in some position that forces it to go into this mode??
2. Tried to wipe cache and wipe data/factory reset, doesn't help.
3. Tried the "Apply update from ADB", and when I pick that, it tells me to run 'adb sideload <filename>'. So I tried to get stock firmware (G960WVL9FUJ1_G960W)YV9FUJ1_FMC.zip) and tried to sideload that from PC. Always gets stuck verifying the package (and 0% on PC adb).
Wasn't sure if I was supposed to do it with the zip or the files within the zip. Tried both and no luck
4. Tried to do it with SD card, it failed immediately (forget the error, could try to reproduce and tell you error if you think it will help).
5. Tried to use Odin. Cannot get Odin to recognize the phone at all.
I think drivers are installed properly (would adb devices work if the drivers weren't installed right??).
Not sure what else to try next.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks!
