hello, i was trying to setup sidesync with my tablet ,pc and s9 and it seems that sidesync is not available for s9... is that correct and if so are there other solutions ?

Okay, so I'm not the only one. That's reassuring.
It works on my computer and S9+ but only via WiFi.

Did you have to download and install the Samsung SideSync App from the playstore? Cause I can't download it Is it already on the device?

Ok, the updated Version of Side Sync just told me that Samsung Flow will take up part of mirroring the device.

Unfortunately Samsung Flow doesn't currently support S9/+ either

I used Smart Switch (or whatever the thing is called where you can transfer stuff from an old phone). I swapped from an S8+ to the S9+. It transferred most apps but a few didn't make it, Sidesync was one of them. I went to the store and downloaded it without an issue.
In the app info for it it shows "App downloaded from Google Play Store" Version 4.7.8.2 I am in the US using a Snapdragon model if that matters.

Does only the linked version work? I went to download it, but saw that there was a newer version available and downloaded that one. Installation failed.

Yes that's the only one that works. I use the phone app just to dial in numbers and look up numbers while I use Samsung one to manage the calls. If you understand my point
I use 'marshmallow dailer - android 6' from approids tech, works pretty nice, way faster than that damn samsung dailer.

Thanks. I was able to get version 3.something installed and it's a huge improvement over the Samsung dialer. No updates though. Is it possible to apply the update fix without a custom recovery? I'm on a stock, unroofed T Mobile device.
Two issues:
Selecting "Calls" in Phone settings causes the app to stop
Selecting "Sounds and vibrations" takes you to the correct screen, but also results in a pop-up notification ... "Phone does not have permission to write to system settings."

Accidently flashed a wrong verson of ROM and hardbricked my Xiaomi Mi max and not reagateing to anything only when I connect to PC Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostic Port and cannot install a new driver to Qloader ...Any idea to fix it?

No, you can't delete it its linked with launcher (Google) & bunch of other stuff.
In the future when you want someone to help you provide basic information along with description how you got there.

It's basically linked to the good part of standard Gapps among them most noticeable to the launcher 3 where you can't remove search bar. Don't you think some smart ass before you had a similar idea? Well guess what it's present in micro & pico Gapps packages so you can't remove it as they certainly would if that whose possible. You can not activate it & not use it.

Think actually you didn't understand. Only way to get rid of it is to entirely stop using Google apps.

Bro I have x96 s905w box. (its not mini). I flashed wrong firmware and now its not booting. just red light is coming. i tried usb burning tool but its not detecting my device. i tried amlogic card maker tool but device not booting up. can u help me please?

I had the same problem because x96 s905w model with bluetooth is very new. So find its firmware is ****.... But i found it... Have you fixed?

i heard first time about bluwtoth. can u also send the photo of ur network settings so that i can see the bluetooth option. If its bluetooth version then u wont be able to flash roms which i used from the post link above.

You need to be on BRJ6 stock firmware and stock recovery i believe or it won't work so flash that through odin first...

You might have bootloader unlocked. They stopped supporting after you unlock it. Use apkmirror and install it from Apk.

I'm unlocked, but not rooted. That's probably why. I'm not protected in my play store status. I installed via apk mirror.
I have it and haven't had any issues with it working. I'm rooted with an unlocked bootloader and Magisk.
Hide the Play store in Magisk Hide, and then clear cache and data from the Play Store. Relaunch Play, and your device should show as certified. Netflix will then be available and/or take updates. I have had to do it on four devices, and had to do it over on both Pixel 3s after the December update.
