Thanks! Running very smooth for me. However, I lost USB file transfer ability to my Windows 10 PC. Setting MTP mode sometimes will show me an empty device, sometimes no device. ADB over USB works fine.

On the himaul builds the thing that works for me is to go to Developer Options before plugging the phone in, then selecting MTP (it reverts to Charging), then plugging in the cable.
Nothing else seems to work, even doing it the old way of simply toggling MTP off/on while plugged in.

I haven't found any way to fix this problem. It can be a pain. It is on all AOSP hima roms.

Nice port, but 2 issues kept me from using it as a daily driver:
1. USB OTG doesn't work without a powered Y-cable. The same USB sticks can be accessed directly with the factory ROM
2. Verizon Visual Voice Mail won't install from Ti Backup. Since Verizon M9 is not compatible with the standard voicemail app, voicemail notifications are received only as a cryptic SMS from Verizon. Then you call voicemail with *86. This may not be a deal-breaker for some, but I found it very annoying.

Does Advanced Calling work, i.e. mobile data service is available while on a phone call ?

Nope. None of AOSP hima roms advanced calling works.

Any hope for possibly getting volte? Possibly a blob we need to extract? I'm currently working on porting DU11. Have a fully booted rom just need to fix camera as with all nougat roms it seems.

Its good to see that there's still some people trying to keep this device alive. I recently had an m7 and plan on getting an m9 soon and it'll be great to see some good fairly up to date roms for it. Thanks for all yall hard work.

Hey, had a couple of questions. New to AOSP roms. Does everything work but Volte like camera and IR, Bluetooth? I'm coming from Viper so just full wipe and flash, I can go back to my back up, no problem if I need to. Does this support CMTE (theme engine) or OMS (substratum) thank you in advance.

No NFC for now. I have no NFC hardware available with me. May be in future builds

i have dual sim phone but only 1 sim in use . first boot every thing its ok (speaking about lte) but after reboot no more signal for sim (changing 4g in 3g sim works) . i set already with 4636 lte how you said before.
i hope you will fix this problem.

No caches and system wipe should be enuff
No need to wipe data

Here LTE on sim 1 not work.
I tested all, but without success.
LTE on sim 2 working fine.

hey,
i was testing the rom..few issues some time animation are quite slow
and when using restart ui option my toching the plus icon in the corner in customization menu setting app crashes with no system ui restart

random app crashes very frequesnt
+google app crashes when searching sometimes...also when settin up ok google everytime
+setting app randomly crashes

4 brightness not working
5 it says j5lte in about section

Bad port . You didnt change the device name :laugh::laugh: . And there is still lots of bugs ( ril , camera , ... ) . Make a source build will much better than a port . If you can make nougat kernel , why dont you do the samething with device tree and vendor

you will bring the dead phone to alive again with your awesome ported custom roms .
please can you port MUI or TW custom rom with nogaut or oreo update to our phone without bugs , because this rom have lots of bugs and i can't use it for dialy usage.
please try to fix bugs like camera and sim and sound and brightness , it's most important thing in phone , without them i can't use the rom , and i see you post it as beta test so i will wait for next fix rom update .

after testing on "GT-I9300I" dual sim
both sim cards are not working
camera is working but there is some random black lines in video recording ..I have sony sensor
Bluetooth, headphone , vibration, radio are working fine.
and more to test..

tested quickly in its main functions at the moment it seems fine, bug detected battery recharging from off is not going, for the rest you have to see over time how the rom runs, for those at this time, the most complete and stable 'rom is still the one of Thargorsson lolipol 5.1.1 of December 23, 2017.
to the fact, however, a good job continues so congratulations.

I like the ROM. It's all working fine. But the Securitypatches are very old. December 2017.

Camera its a litle bit slow and the Rom seems to be having trouble to work. Most of the time it its laggy and heavy.
