BND-L24 Firmware over BND-L34 - Honor 7X Questions & Answers

As the title suggests, I'm wondering if flashing Honor 7x firmware over my Mate SE would do more harm than good, considering they're (almost) the same devices. Only asking because there's no firmware for the Mate SE to be found and I'm really desperate to get mine out of a bootloop. Unless someone has a clean dump that I can use?

There’s no firmware for the US 7X either

A new BND-L34 update came out. I tried extracting the update, and unfortunately I can't access my phone from adb anymore for some reason.
Huawei doesn't post their ADB drivers anywhere. The only way is from Hi suite, but you need stock ROM installed in order to access it to get the drivers.
Is there any way to get drivers?

I am running Android 7.0 with EMUI 5.0 on my 6X, but logically this recovery doesnt work cause its for MM. I can't test dual-sim, but i don't see any major bug, but some Huawei apps such Updater and File Manager are missing...the real problem is that we cannot already downgrade to Marshmallow due to the lack of rollback packages...downgrading in dload fails (i tested it yesterday)

There is a roll-back ROM on firmware finder. As long as it shows your IMEI as approoved, it should install.
That's the nice clean way.
There is a dirty ( possibly dangerous way ) by using the nougat service ROM. That ROM is for bnd-L21, so not sure how an unlocked bootloader will handle it. It has worked on unlocked before.

You are not on 8.1, the app can work.
But I was only referencing the app for the guides linked inside.
You should be able to use it to flash b330. Which should work in DC

My bad I am on 8.0 to be specific bnd-l34 8.0.0.341(c567) and as much as I've tried I can not get it to work on the phone following along on the videos. They are using the app on emui 5.0 not 8.0. It doesn't work anymore on 8.0
All there videos revolve around emui 5.0 or lower. It stopped working with 8.0

Because the locked bootloader, you can only use the firmwares that are approoved.
Chances are , the only one that's approoved is the b330
And if not , then only option is the service-rom. Followed by dc-unlock, then the hwota and correct ROM
It has been done.
There should be confirmation back in the mate thread somewhere.

This post you made here sounds doable.
This service rom so far has been only thing we found that will load with three button method (dload)
But it is not a full rom to keep on device. It needs you to follow up with flashing fullOTA of your correct version after.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid...83647474828964
1. Unzip download
2. copy the dload folder to root of sdcard
3. power on phone holding all three buttons
4. After phone finishes and reboots, unlock frp and bootloader, if needed
5. Use Huru or HWOTA to flash correct firmware for your model/ region.
Enlighten me what is huru or hwota? If I were to flash this does it boot up into android or is it non functional?

Yes, this should leave you able to boot. And with build level that should allow DC unlocked to give you the code.
Remember like I said before this is kind of a dirty way around and 'could' have issues unknown. Like what if DC does not give you a code, you would then be stuck . (Though you are stuck now)
Huru and hwota are very similar. They both use TWRP to give custom flashing control.
Hwota uses modified stock recovery to flash full ota files.
Huru repacks full ota files so that TWRP can flash them.
Since doth start with TWRP , bootloader unlock is needed.

Just spent most of the morning going back and forth with someone else with mate see, and they just did restored his device with the service ROM.
I do not now what he was restoring from, but he ended up with "unknown model" and default build number of 8.0.0.46
This is because of (probably) some data corrupt issue making the flash go bad. But he was able to run the ROM and unlock boooader.
Difference is he already had his unlock code.

Have you seen this guide?
It is for "official" hisuite roll-back
I have not rolled back so do not know it it works though.(I checked with my device, it shows no downgrade available)
I know the roll-back firmwarm listed on firmware finder was listed as "bond" and not "bnd". So this means not available "officially"

Same as mine, and no we still have to wait for that one to be uploaded once it's available
Glad it's a finally getting released , I saw the L09 download didn't think about it being VLOG, my own fault. Luckily managed to pick up a Pixel 2 on FB to at least have me up and running....and as a bonus Android 10.
Shouldn't be long to wait now
If I decide to update my p30 with this method, would I be stuck to this version or I would get normal updates ?

What was the phone before the update ELE-L09 and what was it's CUST
Unless it was an ELLE-L09 with Cust (C316) it wont flash and you are soft bricked until the correct firmware is released
@Passportpowell, if your build and cust is ELE-L09 C431 or ELE-L09 C432, i'm affraid that you'll have to wait for a whille to revive your device, because dload firmware for those 2 CUSTS aren't available yet.
If you have another CUST rather then those 2 above, search on this thread for a link of dload firmware matching your actually one and then flash it in order to revive your softbricked phone.

Unfortunatelly, you can downgrade only using HiSuite PC version and only with a working device.
You can't use any of the EMUI 9.1 dload firmware to downgrade, because it won't work (you can only upgrade on your status).
What was the EMUI version build before softbrick? Do you remember? EMUI 9.1.0.240 or higher?
We'll assume for now untill you find out what cust you have that you have C431 or C432, the most common version and wait for their dload release, so you can try them.
if you want to try any of these let me know and i will upload them:

Bypass FRP is about Google account user and password. If by mistake you reset your device without Factory Reset when you set it up it will ask in order to continue previous data of Google account. Since update version is available on FF, does any one know the new FF DNS + HiSuite method that works for Android 10 update? Since the old one doesn't work??
Nope
Hello,
I tried for a whole afternoon last week-end. Nothing worked. The further i could go was to get the phone to recognize it has an update to do vie e-recovery (over wifi / DNS changed). But from there, the phone tries to gather the information from the server and fails to do so.
In Hisuite, i was able to make it so it recognize it has to do an update, but as soon as it tries, it fails to update.
I guess we'll have to wait until end-ish of may

Nope, this thing fails, when tries to install the os on my mobile. On hisuite everything is okay when downloading emui 10 but after nothing happens.
Btw how can I find the preload files? Because I can't find that on firmware finder.

Post the screen of phone info like you did before when you were still on 9.1
Also type this code in phone dialer *#*#2846579#*#* then press 1, then 2 and finally go to the bottom and post the screen

I think I installed an asian version, but it's working perfect! So fast and lovely! I love it. Finally my p20 works normally, no freezing and anything.

How To Guide LE2127 OnePlus 9 Pro Custom ROM (T-Mobile)

I am seeing a lot of folks who are still (year later) unable to enjoy custom ROM with T-Mobile devices, so I wanted to quickly post this easy method for enjoying your device with FULL DATA. If you are using a T-Mobile branded OnePlus 9 Pro and have accepted all normal OTA updates as of 9/8/22, you should be on C.19 firmware.
Assuming you have already unlocked your bootloader, you can safely upgrade to EU C.62 firmware found at:
OP9PRO_Android12_C62_EU_Firmware

I completed this process while already on Nameless but it should work for others too. No more dodgy modules, hacked MSMDownloadTools or sorta working phones. Note, firmware and local updates are NOT the same. You are not cross-flashing to an entirely new software but ONLY required firmware modules for latest custom ROMs. Hope this helps!
P.S. if you receive any error while sideloading your new firmware, DO NOT unplug or reboot your phone. Repeat the process until it's completed successfully.
So you are saying no need to msm to EU first? I am on C.19, is this supposed to be flashed in fastboot? No modem issues??

That's exactly what I am saying, fastboot flash the firmware only and say goodbye to data issues.
My system update is showing c.17 as the latest update. I can't seem to get c.19. Would switching to eu firmware delete user data too?

No user data removed.
Appreciate this post. Do you plan on keeping this updated as EU gets updates?

I will do my best!
Why does this work where the eu msm converter has problems with the modem? After you flash this firmware can you take future ota updates without modem issues as well?
The latest firmware from non-branded OnePlus 9 Pro is now available!

This finally brings those of us on T-Mobile, especially closer to the bleeding edge.
Is this file modified in any way? Why didn't the people in the conversion thread do this before? I just don't get it, help me understand how we are avoiding all those problems. Can you also share the fastboot commands you use to flash this firmware please? Thank you.

Of course, it's modified because OnePlus doesn't create firmware packages for our community. However, the files within the package are original dumps.
You can easily sideload this fix through your custom recovery using adb sideload OP9PRO_Android12_C63_NA_Firmware.zip for example.
Ok, one last question, are we able to take ota updates after doing the sideload? I know this is the latest firmware so there won't be any but in the future are we able to take ota?
Question:
1-what room is best for my LE2127 for daily use
2-Hasselblad camera exist a app
3-what TWRP are we using now
thanks in advance
Could someone please post steps to sideload Le2127 to EU / Global C.62EU / C.63NA No data loss ?
can I sideload this from t-mobile c.17? Also what recovery can I use? TWRP is for android 11
I use this for adb side loading..

Should I just select oneplus 8 pro as the device? The 9 pro technically isn't supported. I also can't get my computer to recognize my phone in recovery so sideloading is not working, all drivers installed and my pc recognizes my phone in any other state.

Do the other option and go from there.
The Tool All In One is a great tool with many uses. You can choose the OP8P and it will work for OP9P. My question is will this really work side loading C.62 or C.63 on Le2127 and not lose data. I still have yet to read a clear guide on doing this. Also there's a lot of us that still use the TMO 9 Pro but I don't see anyone responding to this thread sharing that it really works. It would be nice but I'm not even gonna try until I know for sure that it really does work !
