Sound of indicators, parking sensors - MTCD Android Head Units General

Hello guys. I have a px5 32gb 4gb with android 8. When I installed it, yesterday it was fine. But today my indicators, beeps from car and parking sensors were extremely loud, very low and no sound at all! I noticed too that the speaker provided is always doing some sound even with the radio off.
Any tips? Thank you

Headphone jack malfunctioning

The headphone jack of my GN2 began malfunctioning 2 weeks ago. When I plugged it in the phone, the music gets out from the left side, the other one is completely silent, only when I move the plug to an specific way inside the jack it works.
I have used 3 different earphones without success, however they're working in 2 other phones I've used.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Have you cleaned the headphone jack yet? Try blowing air in with a can (air filled can to clean pc, keyboard etc) It seems something is inside your headphone jack...
No. Don't do compressed air first. Use a good cotton swab and swab it out first. Sounds like part of your connection might be dirty. Use compressed air as last resort. If neither of those methods work, then you may need to replace headphone jack or go Bluetooth. If you've had your phone awhile may want to get the USB connection replaced too for hahas while your phone is opened up.

Connected to external speakers (Hifi system) - while idle crazy noises / cracking

Ok, here is what I found out. I did unroot teh devide and reset it to factory. To wrap my findings up:
I connected my Nexus 7 to my AV Receiver and Speakers.
1) When playing Music all is fine - no humming / buzzing / cracking!
2) WhenMUSIC IS OFF, but SCREEN IS ON you can start hearing a buzzing ( which I could live with as I know analogue sources do sometimes have that buzzing, although none of my other devices such as the Galaxy S4 has it)
3) THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! Whenever the Screen turns off I get a high pitched buzzing that could potentially ruin my speakers!
Can anyone confirm this or help me out here?
Here is a video with my findings https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ug4T...Yzhu26gJOT36mg

Hello guys, i have a random problem. I have my nexus connected to external speakers and only when idle I hear weird crackling noise, when playing music or going through menu and such it almost disappears.
I have my nexus connected via aux cable. It is really bad that cracking noise.its not like a smooth humming that u can expect from analog sources. It gets also high pitched etc and I'm afraid to break my speakers once it goes idle.
Is my device faulty?
BTW with headphones attached I don't really get it much.

I might suggest you try using a ferrite core and see if that helps.

One of these: http://www.thatcable.com/product/7mm-Clip-On-Ferrite-Core (you can find them cheaper, this was only for example) it reduces click and whine, they are cheap enough so if it doesn't work it's no big deal.
But why does it happen when idle? Do you get any noise, Crack, anything when u hock it up to a receiver, external speakers?

Do you want an explanation or a fix? I am telling you of a possible fix, I would have to do a site survey, and test the equipment with various pieces of equipment to accurately determine the why.
No, I don't hook my tablet up to my equipment, they are capable of playing all my music without the aid of my tablet, the suggestion I made was to correct noise which can be caused by grounding or external RF, buy the core, or don't buy the core, it's all the same to me, I'm just trying to help you out here.
I'm very thankful. But nevertheless it would be interesting to see if others experience the same. I'll order it anyway thanks.

I use an older phone (Droid RAZR Maxx) that is connected to my home stereo for Pandora, Google Music, etc and yes, I have the loud crackling noise. Actually, I should say I had the noise. I used a different device, called a ground loop isolator. I would assume it serves a similar purpose as the core, to simply reduce grounding noise. They are cheap on amazon or newegg or something.
I think this actually the exact one I have:
http://www.amazon.com/PAC-Ground-Is...92235085&sr=1-1&keywords=ground+loop+isolator
The other day I plugged my N7 to my Logitech Z323 speakers and I had blank noise aswell during idle.
It would fade into the music as soon as music played louder than the noise itself but it was still there.
What I did was a bit random but it worked and I believe the noise is caused by the lack of grouding.
Plugged the N7 to my speakers (the Z323 speakers have 2 extra aux slots) with an aux cable and then plugged the speakers to my computer through their own aux cable. This created grouding and the noise disapeared.
Was it really just a blank constant noise? If it was just that fine I could live with it. But this noise I'm experiencing is not smooth it gets high pitched too etc. Not a stable humming.
I plugged mine into an av receiver, only Nr 414.
When I'm back home I'll record a video for u to see.
By the way I rooted my device. But I doubt that has anything to do with it?

My device is also rooted but I doubt it has anything to do with it.
In my case, the sound was similar to when you don't properly plug the aux cable hence why, plugging the speakers a second time, onto my computer fixed the issue.

I dont get what u mean with pluggin in a second time? I only want to connect my N7 with my av receiver. Are you saying that pluggin in the cable from the AV Receiver into the Laptop and then pluggin in the N7 afterwards helped?
Please verify once more, have u connected to a AV Receiver, or just some Speakers?

This is what I did.
I know it's not exactly the same thing but I bet the cause is the same.
i have my nexus hard wired to my car. using the headphone jack, i can hear all kinds noise when booting up. during playback there are no issues, but once i pause or stop playback, the DAC seems to go to sleep mode, then i can hear some noise again. ofcourse, its not as loud as noise i hear during bootup, but still annoying.
i switched to using the behringer uca 202 usb dac with an otg cable, and all problems went away. also audio quality became definitely much better.

It seems like a grounding issue in your car or you need a better shielded wire. Just my opinion for what ever that is worth.

Its quite bad that in order for me to play music from my nexus i need to buy extra stuff dont u think?

[Q] ZenFone 2 specs but with stereo speakers?

The 2GB ZenFone 2 is absolutely perfect for my needs in every way, except for the mono speaker on the back.
My current phone is a Moto G 2014 which has stereo front-facing speakers and I can't imagine giving that feature up.
I am looking into bluetooth speakers right now, but I don't think they will be suitable for me.
Is there another phone which is similar to the 2GB ZenFone 2, but with stereo speakers?
Try the HTC One E8, but that's going to be $450

I find Bluetooth speakers work pretty nice. In the kitchen I have a Bem cube speaker that I listen to podcasts in the morning while making breakfast. For outside, or portable, I have a Rukus solar speakers. In the bedroom, I have a bluetooth alarm clock.

Headphone jack EMI

It's only audible when the audio is low volume, for example during dialogue in a video.
When the radios are turned off, the problem disappears. Seems like a major design flaw to me.
Is every unit affected by this? Is worth to return my unit because of this or should I just switch to bluetooth headphones?
Never noticed this on my device

sound quality

Hi, I just got my phone, and it has low sound when playing media and with distortion, could it be that my unit is faulty?
Sound quality through headphone jack is good to me, its stereo speaker is fine. I had a lenovo vibe x3 which has same DAC chip as LG V10 and i think mate 20 sounds better. And louder too. But my mate 20 has yellow tint issue on half bottom display, like top is cold but bottom has warm color. How about yours?
Speaker is trash, compare to Mate 9 and Mate 10.
Can anyone tell me what sound quality is like out of the speakers. Don't mean headphone jack just the speakers themselves???
Thanks

I now have Lenovo Vibe X3 and I'm thinking about buying Huawei Mate 20 because of its screen and battery. But sound quality... Are you kidding??? Mate cannot sound better just because Lenovo Vibe X3 has a dedicated sound guts (one of the best implementations of mobile DAC and a couple of amplifiers) whereas Huawei - not. There are sound labs test which tested Huawei. And it's not a musicphone. FOR SURE...
listening in Neutron app (both phone support hires) with same headphone (Fiio F9 pro) gave me that personal opinion, yeah im not kidding when it comes to music. gsm tested same dac for different result (kirin 970 and 980 using same dac) and what make that mate 20 sound lab test result was bad for listening to music. at the time i bought mate 20, i considered note 8 exynos version also, had brought an earphone to test both and bought my first huawei in the end.
Que DAC de audio tiene el mate 20? Es "HD"?

Works in HD mode with good headphones, i dont had problem with sony WH-1000XM3 and poweramp paid and beta version, getting 96khz, 24 bit of output with codec ldac bluetooth, with cable u ll get 192khz
mate 20 speaker sound a bit poor compared to mate 10 or even mate 9 ,
Not a lil bit, really poor compare to Mate 9 and 10
Use this App it's work with me to boost the sound.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster&hl=en_US
You can not boost the sound because the hardware is trash.
