About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. And now we are based on AOSP on oreo. The main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as much as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. This has been explained many times over in years of XDA
if it is not a stock rom more than likely the camera,volte,and gps are not going to work properly
Why does the home button don't work on screen off ? When the screen's off and i press on home button it does nothing i need to press the power button to turn on the screen wh that ? Is it a bug or ?
Review
Quick review:
sluggish during install, all normal after first reboot but a bit slower than aicp 8.1 rom.
Small bug: home button not working on lock screen, not a problem since you can use power button to wake up phone.
Big bug: file transfer is not working, not if set to MTP or PTP from notification (when usb cable is plugged in), and not from development settings. It is not problem with cable or drivers since it is working when I reverted to other rom.
Thanks for developing for our device and i hope to be back to this rom (one of reasons is that Viper4Androd is working here, unlikely to other Oreo roms).
hello, the camera is working perfectly without lag or anything at the moment, what they said above the start button does not work, it does not have music app, bluetooth, wifi, mobile data running, like gps, there is a bit of lag in several applications such as facebook, whatsapp, I still need to try a bit more but it is stable so far taking what I said, hopefully take out new builds soon. Thank you
Guys never ask volte on my threads or it may be reported u as spam aosp on exynos is really a hard work and aosp is impossible .

That must be the reason why I cannot find VoLTE on AOSP ROMs of any Exynos device. ? It'll be good idea if you write it in FAQ like other devs did, so no one gonna ask you for it.
Anyway, great work buddy! It is working pretty smooth after rebooting (initially it was laggy). It took few reboots to get IMEI information of my SIM1 (it was showing Unknown), Idk why. ? But it is working fine now.

i tried it and here is what have to say:
1. boot up is pretty fast
2. FP is preety fast too. (i found DU's FP the fastest)
3. there's option to unlock using only FP after boot up. that's good.
4. i didn't find any option to enable navigation bar.
5. it is pretty smooth.
6. once i try to access recent apps by swiping right the screen flickered/glitched. then after a while screen went blank and then i had to force restart. i tried again to launch the recent apps and same happened.
7. seems like camera2 api hasnt been implemented. the GCam crashes.
8. i hadn't flashed gapps. may be the above mentioned problems are due to that. i didn't check flashing gapps.
9. magisk's version used : 14.4
Wow 10th Oreo ROM already for Z2 plus. Development is in full swing. I think no other device has as many oreo builds as z2 plus have.

Thanks for the awesome rom
This was the awesome till now I know it having less amount of customisations by comparing other roms but the battery backup was dam good by any other roms i am watched a video on YouTube about 42 min and it just decreased by 38% to 35%. Thanks Dev for your awesome work and awesome Rom.... :good:

About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. And now we are based on AOSP on oreo. The main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as much as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. I hope that you'll all love this project, and help us, shape it even more better. Meanwhile, all of our sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can.... uhm... you know, do what all others do at forums and communities! Hope you enjoy your stay and like our work on Cardinal-AOSP.

About Project:
Citrus-CAF was initially based off CyanogenMod in the early days of its inception. Later, the suggestions were taken into consideration and the needs and demands of our users were carefully studied. On realising the potential of CAF tags, and how CAF optimisations can help Snapdragon devices run with its full capability, we rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was the first device to get the full-fledged taste of our Tangy Nougat. In the beginning, it was just two people behind, but in time, a lot of people joined us, each giving their own contribution.
With the release of Android Pie, we decided to bring back this project to life with more optimisations and stability in our mind. We present to you Citrus-CAF KeyLimePie. Hope you enjoy your time using this ROM.

Fastest Pie rom for Z2 btw.. Recent scroll, app transition, animation, UI are super smooth.. I've reported the bugs to dev and he will look into it..

Try prototype.. power efficient and optimised as well.. use 3.18 as this is 3.xx based
does support 4.4 kernel or 3.18? ... and also does it support magisk 18 ?
it supports magisk 18 as i am using that . its a 3.xx rom so dont flash 4.4 roms

it only supports 3.18, Magisk 17.1,17.3 is recommended, tho magisk 18 can be installed

It only supports kernels made for MrHackers Device Tree. If you wanna try other kernel you can find bootimage shared in Citrus-CAF folder on AFH. Its Totally different from Built-in rom & new.
A quick review will be much appreciated. Don't have time to test myself due to tight schedule for a few days. Just a brief review about what's working and what's not. Do mention bugs that can hinder daily usage, if any. Is this rom ready to be a daily driver? Is there any performance drop or stutters while gaming(not talking about pubg, other 3d games that are well optimized). Thanks!

Your use case maybe different. But here's mine
excellent ROM, excellent autonomy and sleep, please add round icons
I can't find double tap status bar to sleep option anywhere. Nor can i assign lock screen function to any button ( long press or double tap)

I can't find double tap status bar to sleep option anywhere. Nor can i assign lock screen function to any button ( long press or double tap)

Those features aren't implemented yet since it's the initial pie release of citrus.
You can expect them in future releases

Really good work with the room. I have one question though. Is there a fix for no notification in status bar while downloading apps from Google play? I would like to see the progression when i look at the status bar.

Disable android setup app
Good rom so far.
Only HW button swap and wake on home press are missing for me.

Swap HW buttons is here:
Settings->custom squash->buttons->navbar
I will try to add wake on home press in next build:good:
Please add "Anywhere Gesture" for next build as they have on Resurrection Remix.
