For Brazilian owners of Galaxy S9/S9+.
The Brazilian variants are SM-G9600 (S9) and SM-G9650 (S9+), same as the Chinese version, using Snapdragon 845 and 128GB of internal storage. The Brazilian firmware country code is ZTO, if you search the firmware using SamFirm it will point you to ZHU firmwares (it is considered a Hong Kong/China firmware but this is a generic firmware).

You mean, flashing a G9600 ROM in your G960U device?
I'm not sure if that will work.

I saw the 9600 rom is a 128gb and dual sim version, but the 960F is 64gb and single sim as the 960U is.
Do you think the 960F ZTO will work in the 960U?
thanks

I don't have experience with flashing Roms from different variants in Samsung devices.
I recommend searching this information with users who are experienced at flashing with Samsung devices before doing any action.

S9 no brand, can't update to android pie

Hi guys! Proud possessor of a galaxy s9 dual sim no brand.
When I check for updates via OTA or smart switch there is no update available. But android pie is out!
What could be the reason for this fact? Any advice?

I would give it to the end of the month and see if the official update rolls down. I think the beta has run its course and the final is dropping in some countries already. You may or may not get it quickly as Samsung seems to be all over the place on how it updates its phones.

A50 indian firmware on Australian model

I would like to know whether we can flash Indian firmware on on australian model A50 (SM-A505YN).
Any help would be appreciated.
Nope ! First of all its not a F (Global variant) series like the India model. Secondly, you gotta a NFC device while Indian Model is non-NFC.

Here we have not yet got the April security patch. Would you recommend if there are any update from any other country that I could flash?
I would have easily recommended if your device was a "F" variant. Most of the devices sold in Europe, APAC are SM-A505F or SM-A505FN which isn't the case with your device.

Australia is really picky with the entre model numbers. G900I, T755Y, all the jazz. If you want, if you're on someone like Optus, you can try XSA firmware (Unlocked Australia) however still on your carrier. So, for example instead of OPS/OPS/OPS, you'll have XSA/XSA/OPS. Worth a try.

No update for SM-G960 - XAA ; is it safe to flash SM-960U1 - XAA

I recently bought SM-G960UZKAXAA, a SM-G960U with XAA csc. It came with a firmware version G960USQS8ETH5 / G960UOYN8ETH5 / G960USQS8ETH5 - Safety patch Sept1 2020 - When I check (Feb 22, 2021) if there is a software update, it says that I have the last version.
I wanted to check the versions on https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G960U, but I didn't find a G960U firmware for XAA csc, but I found one for G960U1 XAA
So my questions : Is there a place where I could find a SM-960U XAA version. , what is the difference between G960U and G960U1, is it safe to flash a SM-G960U1- XAA over the SM-G960U?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
PS I use the phone in France. Could it explain that I don't receive OTAs?
G960U looks to be a North American varient:
Download Samsung Galaxy S9 SM-G960F firmware
Download the latest Samsung firmware for Galaxy S9 with model code SM-G960F. Check out our free download or super fast premium options.
www.sammobile.com
So you wont find European specific fw for it.

Change CSC/different region note 10+

Hello, I currently have an SM-N976N.
I bought refurbished and live in Ireland.
I am looking for a compatible firmware that's not Korean but not having much luck. I can't flash anything in Odin except n976n firmware, and even that didn't seem to get rid of the sky telecom provider bloatware and branding.
I can provide CSC etc if anyone thinks they can help! Looking for something like a global or UK Ireland Unlocked like the B...
tried to flag KOO firmware...I used CSC as opposed to home Csc but I also used userdata file in Odin as well.
The sk splash screen and bloatware is still present.. There was a warning or info message on phone after I flashed, and then it rebooted again. I couldn't read it as it was in Korean.
Also, if there's no way to change to a euro firmware, is there any way to change bootloader/recovery/download language?

Question Install CSC file from different model firmware

Hi All,
I have a Samsung Z fold 4 ‐ SM-F936N model (Korea version). I want to use it in India. Can I flash BL, AP and CP from SM-F936N firmware and CSC and Home CSC from SM-F936B (india compatible version)'s firmware (CSC as OXM, and Home CSC as INS)?
Want to do this primarily for Samsung Pay and removing Korean telecom files which came installed by default.
Also, assuming it is possible, will it impact OTA update?

Flashing firmware does not change csc u have to use something like samkey or samfw csc changer
Can you use 5G in India I have the same model and I can’t I want to use 5G
I successfully flashed my fold4 from US Verizon to US AT&T but video call doesn't work. Flashing from completely different region models might be more problematic.
