[REQUEST] J2 Pro 2018 (SM-J250F) audio_effects.conf file - Samsung Galaxy J2 Questions & Answers

Hello guys, I messed up with my audio_effects.conf file trying to make Ainur, Dolby Atmos and Viper4Android to work together in my phone in harmony. Anyway I know how to do it already but I need the original conf file to begin with.
Can any kind soul post the stock audio_effects.conf file here? It's in /system/etc folder.
Thank you in advance.

[S3 - ICS] Google Play Music 4.3.615.481147 and SRS effects [Stock ROM]

I just thought of sharing my personal favourite Google Play Music + SRS for ICS.
I'm running ICS 4.0.4 at the moment but I am downloading JellyBean update and will give this mod a try too...
It has Equalizer but shows SRS Panel. Great sound quality that does not restrict you to use on any A2DP capable bluetooth headsets unlike the official Samsung music player that came with the stock version PLUS SRS TrueBass and SRS WOW stays enabled even without a headset inserted!!! (see screenshots).
I got the copy of this SRS effects from someone and just modified to choose the only files really needed. I'm sorry if I can't remember the link I got it from but kudos to whoever you are as this is working great!
Hope you'll like it.
Before installation:
1. Phone must be rooted. Search Google for how to!
2. Download the zip file
3. Safety first! backup the affected files (simply renaming to .bak is good enough) in case you encounter issues:
/system/app/MusicFX.apk
/system/etc/audio_effects.conf
Installation Steps (manual installations only. Feel free to create a script flashable via CWM for this as I have not had time to do so):
1. unzip the file
2. copy the unzipped files to your SDCARD
3. Copy the files to their designated location and set permission to rw-r-r and owner/group to root:root
- app/SRSPanel.apk to /system/app/
- etc/audio_effects.conf to /system/etc/
- etc/SRSAudioFilter.csv to /system/etc/
- lib/soundfx/libsrsfx.so to /system/lib/soundfx/
- lib/soundfx/libsrstb.so to /system/lib/soundfx/
4. Install the Google_Play_Music_4.3.615.481147 file like you normally do.
5. Restart your phone
I have tried this MOD to JB and I needed to change/add a couple of things. I am running DXDLI5 (XXDLJ1) firmware on my GT-I9300 and I just want to share this.
Install manually and make sure you backup the system files that will be replaced by this mod.
Download the zip file here and unzip then copy to your SDCARD/extSdCard and do the manual installation.

What has Changed from the ICS version?
- modified "audio_effects.conf" to contain the downmix library
- added an "audio_effects.conf" file for /vendor/etc/ and included the config for "LVVE" libraries
- added the stock copy of the "LVVE" libraries from XXDLJ1 (you can skip copying this if you already have those libraries present)
Again before replacing the files, rename it to ".bak" or backup it somewhere else. I am not reliable and I don't provide warranty to this MOD.

All New Redmi 1s Bootanimation

OK guys, here I come up with a new bootanimation for our beloved Redmi 1S. :good:
I have used some elements from the Google lollipop stock bootanimation and added some from my side.
It isn't that fancy, but would really make your device different from others.
How to install??
Use any root explorer, I would recommend ES File explorer. Before you begin, take a backup of your current bootanimation, in case you hate mine.
Copy and paste the downloaded bootanimation in /system/media. Replace the existing one with this one. Give permission as rw-r--r--
Thats it, reboot phone to see your new bootanimation.
Hope you all would like it.

Modifying APK in system.img of ROM

Hello All,
I am trying to add/edit xml files found inside "assets", "vendor" directories of an APK included in system.img of a ROM.
The APK is available at
system/priv-app/CarrierConfig/CarrierConfig.apk
system/priv-app/CarrierConfig/oat/arm64/CarrierConfig.odex
system/priv-app/CarrierConfig/oat/arm64/CarrierConfig.vdex
Is there a guide to edit the xml files inside the apk, re-compile, put it in a ROM.
I am also interested in making this a Magisk module, So that I can install on top of any ROM.
Please share a guide for it.
Wrong section?
Use APK Easy Tool or BatchApkTool for de recompiling.
For extract Rom use System Extractor WIN master.
All this tool search in Google!
Senior Member what you doing here? Go to to right section!
I had this,
system/priv-app/CarrierConfig/CarrierConfig.apk
system/priv-app/CarrierConfig/oat/arm64/CarrierConfig.odex
system/priv-app/CarrierConfig/oat/arm64/CarrierConfig.vdex
I used apktool to decompile the apk and recompiled it after my modifications. I have also zip aligned and signed the APK.
Can I just replace the apk without modifying or touching the vodex and odex files(I made changes only to the XML files. No java files changed in the modification)?

MtkNfc.apk/ Nfc.apk File request

hello, first of all this phone is mtk right?
second can someone give me the nfc.apk or MtkNfc.apk from stock rom with android 8.1 oreo. maybe can it be from custom rom if android oreo has nfc.apk file from stock. I want the apk under system files
because I have a lenovo k4 note with mtk processor and the nfc doesnt work on android pie custom rom because that the nfc app is from stock wich is marshmallow. the dev said that the file is missing some dependencies maybe with an app from a newer android version would work and as this phone has android 8 oficial rom so maybe is better. thanks
anyone?? just download any root explorer like es file explorer and search for nfc and get the apk that appear. probably is under /system/app/nfc or something or maybe under system/etc or vendor/etc

Bootanimation

if you have custom Bootanimation for Note 20 Ultra share it here!!!
Here's one. I don't remember where I found it but it's pretty awesome. I also added the THX sound at boot up. This is not flashable, replace manually and set permissions.
how do you install?
Need root
Replace file
When in doubt, Google
