Hi everyone, I'm a neophyte in the "custom ROM" matter, Lineage OS, etc
So I have some questions to ask you
1. The Helio x20 allow ROM customization?
2. There is custom ROMS for my device (Check title) that also update to new Android platforms (Nougat or Oreo)?
3. Can someone create a ROM which (if it's possible) upgrade to Android to 7.0 or 8.0 if those ROMS don't exist yet, and at who should I ask it?
PS: Yes I can't do it myself cause I'm a big noob x')

I have been searching where to port the kernel from G870A (S5 Active AT&T) to the G870D (S5 Active DOCOMO), but did not find the right tutorial. whereas the same has the Snapdragon 801 Chipset
I want to port LineageOS ROM from G870A to G870D, its just need to port the kernel i think. but i can't find the right tutorial
G870D is running Marshmallow stock ROM and that Lineage OS is running on Oreo
can anyone help me or give a tutorial or teach me?

i have two questions :
1-is there any os other than android for S9 like Sailfish os , librem5 pure os , ubuntu touch or any linux touch friendly ?
Sailfish may be the closest because it is on several devices. also is there any developer can make a rom for s9 ?
2-if i have any android device that has Qualcomm SDM636 . am i able to install Sailfish os made for sony xperia 10 on that device since sony xperia 10 uses Qualcomm SDM636 chipset?

Thinking about getting an S21 or 22 but I just have a quick question. Any chance I will eventually be able to use custom roms like lineageos on either phones? I'm currently using a OnePlus 6t and I like that after they stopped official support I could just install lineage.

IMHO, it's quite early to tell. Maybe in the next years this device can receive some developers love, but it's not gonna be easy. It's an expensive phone and Samsung has always been known for not being so open in terms of development. Let's wait and see.
Bro this phone will receive atleast Android 16 and then security updates for some years..
