Why would you want to stay on 6? I am really impressed with the latest 7.1.2 ROM, you can see my guide for installation and use the latest RR-N-v5.8.5-20180216-eyeul-Unofficial.zip ROM.

Good Morning, I have HTC One M9 o/s 2.9.841.5 with s-off and Unlocked on TWRP 2.8.6.1 and can install Android Revolution for smaller than O/S 3.5 edition but cannot install Candy rom or viper for o/s 2.9 or cm 3.0 can anyone please help cheers Freddy
i have htc one m9 sprint with ViperOneM9 3.5.0 ROM when i ask for OTA updates it tells me that i have the lastest update, it wont upgrade to ViperOneM9 4.2.1 or ViperOneM9 5.3.0 , should i upgrade manually ?
my phone is S-ON and im using TWRP 3.0.0
Major version updates (e.g. from 3.x to 4.x or from 4.x to 5.x) aren't provided as OTAs. You need to flash a full rom.
Make sure that you are on the latest firmware of your sku and update TWRP to the latest version before you try flashing any newer viper version.
Besides updating to 5.x is only possible with a full wipe since that rom is based on the HTC 10 system and not the one of the M9.
