I recently got a LG G Pad 7.0 and I got its software down to VK41023A but OS is still 5.0.2 . Phone can be rooted (usually with rootking) but after that I'm stuck. Main mission is downgrade to kitkat because I hear custom roms and such can be installed. Anyone still working on this Pad?

I am looking at getting a Verizon Lg g pad 8.3 but i need root and a cleaner rom such as the gpe rom or Cyanogenmod. It looks like this root may work http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2703825 but i don't know about any roms for this device. Any help would be appreciated. I won't be buying this if i can't get root and any sort of rom support.

The one I bought a month ago had 4.2.2, but you have to act fast after getting it, as I think it started to download the update immediately.
I think the initial "factory" configuration/installation process by Verizon doesn't change often. I had a friend just yesterday get both an LG G3 and the Pad8.3. He hasn't fired up the Pad 8.3 yet, but his G3 came with the 10B version which was updated to 11C in late August, as I recall.
Is there any way to get TWRP and Xposed working on the Sprint LG G Pad 7?

I recently bought used LG tablet (LG G Pad 10.1 (V700)). I downgraded it to KitKat in order to instal TWRP recovery and root it. Now I would like to install lightweight custom ROM (lollipop or higher) but I was so far unable to find any ROMs for this tablet. There are some ROMs in this forum but they seems to be only suitable for LG V400 or V410. So if you know where to find custom ROMs for my tablet please let me know.

So I got an old LG vk700 from a friend and I was hoping to install a custom ROM on it. It's currently running Android Lollipop 5.0.2, and it is the Verizon Model. I'm interested in trying to install an older version LineageOS on it but I noticed that it wasn't in the supported devices list. I did see that the LG G Pad 8.0 (which is almost identical to the vk700 other than the dimensions) is supported, and I was wondering whether it was possible to install the version of Lineage for the G Pad 8.0 on the vk700. If not, would it be possible for me to port it to the vk700 or is the vk700 for some reason impossible to use a custom ROM on? Thanks in advance!
