Can someone develope Google Camera apk for portrait mode in Moto Z Play. As already presented mod by ArnovaG2 is not installing on phone. Maybe just because its for 64-bit. So can someone develope or mod the existing google camera for arm32 (Moto z play) without root requirement for portrait mode.??

I said you probably just assumed vertical video because of the orientation being called portrait, perhaps if you don't want to be called a troll don't post a muppet filled fake PSA when someone has a legitimate question? I don't care how many posts and thanks you have, that video is still a troll unrelated to the post.
On another note, I tried all of the zsl mods and modded g cams I can find, no luck with any of them. Most just crash on opening or crash when I click portrait mode. Has anyone tried a 8.1 rom to see if it's just the architecture? Maybe a hardware limitation?

Now the Facer app has been updated with a sweeping second hand does anyone know how to activate it? Any advice gratefully received.

Yes what he said lol. You need to look for the rotation field for those codes. I have it working and works well, but not smooth, but better.

Im having the same issue with the hand not sweeping correctly... In the app it is sweeping AND ticking... Like sweep then tick.....#DWFSS#
On watch it doesn't sweep, just ticks

It looks the the movement of a lower jewel automatic movement. I think it looks great. Closely look at a 17 jewel older movement, and you will see it is not smooth sweeping either. Even the best automatic movements have a slight tick to them if you stare. There are only a few watches that truly sweep. The tuning fork Accutron movements, Bulova Precisionist, and I believe the spring drive Seiko. There may be more.
I love the new sweeping motion in Facer - looks awesome on my Moto360! No battery issues so far, will report back.

Same here. Not smooth at all. Even when smooth second hand is checked in settings.
Just picked up the WatchMaker beta - they have just added smooth second hands!!
The sweeping is VERY smooth - way more than Facer - they claim something like 30+ frames per sec as they use a gaming engine for rendering.
The pain for Facer and WatchMaker is that I want all my watches to use sweeping without changing the tags to drss each time - does anyone know how to do this?
#DWFSS# will kill your moto 360 battery. FYI
This has not been my experience, I am not really seeing any change in battery life.

What watch face you using?
I have been switching through several of them, I don't look at the watch all that much. Let me know what one you are seeing drain from and I will load it up and see what impact it has on my watch.
I'm using the facer and the Dwfss doesn't kill anymore than the Dwfs
So after I take a picture I try to use the effects example ufocus and it says unable to use the effect on the picture anyone else have this issue?

uFocus works fine for pictures taken in Auto mode.

You might just be trying a photo(s) where the subject is too close. Closeup pics don't work with uFocus, and this is the most common reason I've encountered for the phone not being able to apply that effect.
Duo camera being blocked is another cause. But the phone will display a warning that its blocked when you take the picture.

Edit: if u try to edit pictures which was taken in low light or with flash it gives u a error

Good to know. I would imagine there are a variety of non-ideal situations that would cause the effects to fail. So its good to learn some more of these conditions.

Just remember this:
Ufocus, foregrounder, season backgrounds ONLY works in AUTO mode
So you can't apply the effects to photo's taken in low light, with flash or other modes

Hello. I wanted the pre-loaded HD photos and videos of Sony Xperia X, not the wallpapers and lockscreens, but the ones which are visible in Album.
I got new phone and I just checked the Album quickly, and then I did Factory Reset, I assumed that those media files won't be deleted, my bad! But now I need them. I checked online and couldn't find. Can someone please upload it or give me any links to download it? I remember that there were 2 videos for sure and some 7-8 photos.
And are there any pre-loaded music files too?

Quick check ! Sorry for off topic but any body does have light bleed issue on xperia X .I have on mine .Bottom right and left corner where back & recent button is. ( I will remove this if this violets rule but if someone can confirm this that would be nice)

I don't know how did i get it but it wasn't there before.After purchasing device then 2nd day it i noticed .
Did u test it on full brightness though? & on black display.

No i just got this devie some days ago .Everything stock not even upgraded to nougat .Even I browse through pics in gallery which are horizontal the light is still pretty much visible there.

I just ran diagnostics full brightness. nothing. Only a slight a bit brighter than the rest line on top which is almost non visible to my eye.

No than it isn't problem for you.I know what you are talking about .It's all over all xperia's screen .It's kind of backlight .
I have like bulb glowing from 2 places where the gaps are.

Send me a pic. Maybe I have it too but you are more prone noticing it. Really, if its the LCD the only thing you can do is send it away. and its a pain in the bum

My Tmobile G8 has no such setting.
Last I checked, there are several Silent Camera apps in the play store, which mute the system upon opening the camera. I tried a couple free ones, but they were made for older phones. I haven't tried them all, I was hoping the community might help figure out which ones work.
Open Camera works well and allows muting, but it can't use the wide-angle.
My good old Silent Boot app also became outdated with this phone, so a new one of those would be great as well.
I have the unlocked Amazon Alexa version of the phone and I also don't have the shutter sound mute option under settings. I will check out a 3rd party camera app.
If I use a 3rd party camera app will I be losing photo quality over the stock app? That's my only fear

no such option on my phone
I just turn on DND temporarily. It turns that sound off. You could try to turn on vibrate only too. It's a hassle, I know.

Most other apps I've tried aren't well integrated, have different processing, or won't use the wide camera.
We need either root (hah!) or a new Silent Shutter app that mutes the phone when the camera launches. The apps I've found on the play store are for older phones, let's hope a new one comes out soon.

Can you port it for another?
Not sure if everyone is aware, but when you scroll on the larger screen, half the screen can't quite keep up. Don't know what I'm talking about? Try recording yourself scrolling with another phone in slow motion, you'll see it. Some youtubers posted about it as well. Hoping it will improve with updates.

One plus didn't fix that issue. i believe it was a hardware.
The only fix for us temporary is rotate the screen horizontally
