Go to play store, install firmware finder apps, search for your model, download firmware build number 8.0.0.360. If got newer build number search for full OTA.

Cannot update LG G3 software (stuck on V20a-EUR-xx)

Hi there,
I've tried updating my phone to the latest software, however it tells me that "The latest software is already installed on this device.". I'm sure that the device has not been modified in any way, it was not rooted, ever.
Would anybody be able to help me?
Thanks.

Then your phone must have the latest firmware available for that particular model. Is the phone tied to a particular provider i.e EE, T-Mobile. Virgin etc. And which country are you in, because this can affect which firmware is available.

Go into settings on the phone, scroll down to about and check the software entry which will tell you which firmware is on the phone. As far as I know the latest for UK was D85520H which was on my G3. If you have a firmware with any later letter after D85520 then you will have the latest LP 5.0 firmware.
There is a little app on the Playstore called "LG From" which if you download and install then run it will tell youvwhat the latest firmware for your phone is.

As of now that is what available, outside of a few people pulling the N OTA and distributing it. There is no official release from Moto on MM or N.
Thank you. In that case I think I will update my phone Ota and then hard reset it to iron out any bugs that may arise due to version overlapping.
I wonder how long the FXZ will take. Waiting, still on mm. Vzw

Updating to Nougat

Hello.
I live outside US and want to update to Nougat.
I've browsed through the threads and I think I need these files, but the link is dead.
I can't find n920aucu4eqc6 version anywhere and I've got N920AUCS4CQB2 on my phone. Can I use a newer version or should I flash C6 by all means?

There are plenty of modded apks on XDA. Here's one:

I downloaded one of the APKs and tried to install it but it still said this app is not compatible with your device. This is my first time trying to do this so maybe I'm missing some obvious steps.
I found an old version here that work3d for me for Android Auto compatibility....

How to install nougat ROMs over EMUI 8?

Ever since I updated my phone to EMUI 8 I've been regretting it. The stock ROM lacks certain features, also, the way it handles notifications is annoying. I am not able to revert back to EMUI 5.x through dload method. Is there any other way to do it? I tried installing dot, rros, mokee ROMs which ended up in bootloop. If someone could help me out I'd appreciate it a lot.
Edit: I have DUK-LO9C675
Edit: SOLVED

Try using HiSuite on the PC and press Check Update, then choose "Downgrade to earlier version".
It works on my Huawei Mate 9 Pro with Oreo, should be the same on Honor 8 Pro?

You might need to rebrand the phone using the Rebranding guide..
Solved
I rebranded my phone by directly flashing c432 over my indian version using the fullOTA flasher. It booted into "testkeys" version, then I flashed c432 oeminfo from the rebranding/restoring guide using the flash command in TWRP terminal. It worked perfectly. If I can get the fullOTA files and oeminfo for the Indian version I'll have my initial, out of the box, phone.
