[MOD] [REQUEST] Fixing video recording under bad lighting

Hi everyone.
After playing around with the camcorder, I came to this conclusion: Video recording works fine when shutter speed is over a value of approximately 25. Anything less than that, the phone starts dropping frames resulting in a horrible 14fps.
My request to any willing devs is this:
Can we modify the driver so that shutter speed doesn't drop below a certain value?
I sincerely believe that this would fix night time video.

Sorry for double posting, let's just hope that Xiaomi will issue an official fix too.

Works with every camera! Stock, Google etc!
Tested on oreo!

Slow motion still doesn't work in gcam.

Ofcourse the front camera is bad because of the lack of Api2.

But the result with night mode is amazing.
I have them both on my phone. Asus pixelmaster is for video and selfies and sometimes in good light conditions.

I had the same problem due to other parallel installed gcam packages. After uninstalling all other gcam versions everything works fine for me.

I was deleted all ,and restart phone,now its work.
What that means gcam port?

Go to settings and enable "remove AF Data from Screen"

Live photos don't seem to be working for me. Every time I take one and I try to open it, the app crashes.

Honestly I think bulkin043 camera mod is the best since it's more feature complete than BSGs one.

Most of the times when you install a gcam port you have to make some changes at the settings of the app. I don't know if this is the case for this port also. But I guess this must be it. @sivansk could elaborate...

Why do you use Gcam when the Stock is amazing and have all that features and works without any problems..

Yeah! What you say is exactly right but most of them prefer to have a hdr+ enhanced for a natural and pleasent photos

There is no proper gcam development for mediatek chipset ,since it is a flagship chip we can expect it in future updates! And I will reply it with a better gcam with fully functional!

Impossible, unless you re-code the app.
Pixel's dont have a sd card, so there is no provision for it.

I have found that the Gcam Go works well with HDR running on this device.
The version of the Gcam Go with partial working HDR is called:
CameraGoHDR-2.apk

Photosphere is a 360 photo. Very cool feature for me.
