Display quality? - OnePlus 5T Questions & Answers

Hi,
I am able to notice a crisscross pattern on the screen (see picture below), just really minute. This is quite visible, when I am holding the device at a distance of about 15 cms, from my eyes.

This could be the arrangement of pixels in the screen, the diamond pentile matrix, which I just read about online.
• I am wondering if all devices are affected by this, or is it just my phone?
I have factory applied screen protector on, if it matters.

The phone has never fallen and it's always covered with this wallet cover plus a screen protector (removed to check the screen status and to take the photo)
Has anyone aver faced this problem? Will this be covered by warranty?
Thanks

G3 screen has uneven brightness

Hey all,
My screen seems to be brighter in the middle than in the outer sides. It's only noticable on white backgrounds and on lower brightness settings (which I always use). It's pretty annoying and I wonder if anyone else has this problem too. I know it is a common problem with LCD screens, but I hadn't seen it before on a small screen like a smartphone one.

The image above is not a G3, it's an image from Google, but it demonstrates the problem well.

When i saw the 1st Samsung with curved screen i was not really convinced but now it's a different story ... I think i really like this design. My only concern will be how to protect this screen ? Maybe Whitestonedome will provide something ...
Launch event today (on a ship) :
@t7gc7 Quick question, the curved screen is close to 90 degrees ? I cannot make my mind after seeing these pictures
Cheers

Idea on phone camera

why couldn't samsung modify the viewfinder so that the circled region can be filled by the view like other phones?
It is quite frustrating to see the full screen of my note 10+ not utilizing full screen in camera esp as i am using the 4:3 pic aspect ratio.

Because it has to preview you what and how pictures is took as the phone "views" it.
... Or maybe I totally misunderstand your issue? :/

Display Issue on J6+

Hi Guys, it's been a while since i have started seeing that white patch on my phone's display. Sometimes it goes all the way up and covers about 3/4 of screen. But here's a thing, when i give a lil bit heat to display (with heatgun, blower or whatever) these lines and patches just disappear. Is this a hardware issue or something else? Please help
