place **BOTH** zip files in your device storage

reboot to TWRP

swipe to flash BOTH ZIPs ( ROM and TWRP )
once is done reboot system
NOTE: TWRP will say NO OS Found
Swipe to reboot anyway

after using WiFi for a while if I turn off wifi and then try to use mobile data then mobile data doesn't work.
if i restart phone or turn on airplane mode then mobile works

It's working very smoothly up to now, including battery consumption.
In the Telegram group, the installations instructions says that TWRP is already included in the ROM, but it's not.
The OTA feature downloads a 1.5Gb file, but was not able to install it in the other slot.
Why did the bootanimation become white/black? It is related to the color theme of our settings?
I also tryed to compile the ROM by myself but did not manage to pass some initial errors.
I was able to compile the GSI (Treble) ROM, but our phone is not the best to test GSIs, at least, not for me. GSI Rom did not boot. Maybe anyone else could try.
Missed (very minor) features and or glitches:
- Resize old apps full screen (the option we have does not work or the app uses just part of the screen)
- Wi-Fi drops that I cannot really trace the cause (maybe my DNS)
- Our FOD is not the best in class, and it's not different in EvolutionX
- Without the labels, the QS icons are too far from each other and the space could be trimmed
- The option (setting) to remove the VPN message at the bottom of the QS
- Reorient (swap) volume buttons when 180º rotated
- Forced close messages disable option
- Among the (amazing!) vibration patterns, I miss the very simple "da-da" one
- When clicking the "Do not disturb" QS icon, the tile does not expand by itself to show all options (time to be in silent, for intance)
- Weather is not being displayed in lockscreen (although listed in the settings)

TWRP is now included in latest build (4.1.69)
OTA is a bug that is still under development
Edit: it's fixed in the latest build.

Yes , the labels removed make the gap too large and many other minor issues exist. But these are from ROM source , and these exist on any other phone running evox. So it is not developer's fault.

I couldn't get the last build to work with wifi and bt.
I flashed the vendor on both slots, formated data, followed the steps a bunch of times but no success.

3rd party chargers support?
My 18W 3rd party charger doesnt work(it takes 3 hours for full charge). It worked fine with PE ROM and Stock ROM. Is it because of ROM or kernel maybe? Xiaomi 10W charger that comes with the phone works fine.
I experienced the same bug as W3ND31. At first it wouldn't even boot even tough I followed the Installation instructions exactly.
After I cleared cache again (2nd time after initial install) I got it to boot but WiFi and BT wouldn't work. 2-3 more reboots in would somehow fix it but BT Audio is not working properly in my car, only for headphones. I really like this Rom but its not stable yet and has some minor bugs like the ones mentioned above.
I think the issue with WiFi/BT could be related to global and EU vendor. I am back to EU stock now but will check again after some updates have been made and I really hope this Rom will stay maintained unlike some of the other Roms for this phone and I am even willing to donate once its working 'flawless'.
I am sorry I couldn't provide some logcats but I didn't have time because this is my main device and I was testing this in the evening before work.

Mi A3 bootloader doesn't allow data partition to be backed up in TWRP , so you're not alone

Everything is working for me , all you need to do before installing is to flash pie vendor on both slots(flash fastboot pie ROM) then follow installation instructions.

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Bluetooth codes are broken in this build..Only SBC \AAC works rest of codes like APTX,HD and LDAC crashes when i connect them to Bluetooth headsets and DAC's , Worked for me on stock OS ..so something is there required for porting the codes

You need to vist the authorised Realme Service Centre to downgrade, this is the only way and I did like that. You may have to pay Rs.450/= for that.

Without logs I can't help. Take logcat right before it reboots. And send me the logs. And IDK if this is happening on 10 beta too. We will have to test it. Also some guys from different devices with EvoX 4.4 have this kind of problems too. Can u test it on crdroid too?

Hi, I'm a new User.
I have find this community because I'm in search to root my old ZenFone 5.
I read a lot of your post, on ZenFone 5.
Finally, i decided to update it with Evolution OS, because is up to date firmware.
I only have 2 question.
1. The GPS working fine or is unactive?
(i have not read it on the features list)
2. I'm not sure what is the correct procedure to flash it.
Some post use adb, another post mentioned dedicated Asus software.
Someone can show me a link with the ultimate procedure for flash my phone?
I have flashed other phone, in past, but was more easier. (ex. Odin and Samsung)

You need to install custom firmware or use beta 3 firmware. Beta firmware makes you lose widevine. Custom firmware doesn't.

4. Format Data If You Came from FDE

I am getting stuck at bootloop while clean flashing the evolution_X00TD-ota-rq3a.210905.001-09100655-unsigned.zip build. I have tried downloading and flashing the build twice but still facing the same issue. Am I missing something ? I followed the instructions from page 1.

Thanks, it is working now.
I didn't knew that there is a difference between format data and wiping data from advanced wipe.
My bad!

It's probably your kernel that's misbehaving. Try switching kernels and check if it happens again (Use ramdisk cleaner before switch).

Hello. Very nice ROM. Suitable for everyday use. Everything works smoothly and stably. The only thing is, I can not turn on "Calls via wi-fi". And the translation into Russian is partially missing in the DerpSpace settings. Can this be fixed?

wifi call is working fine at my end (India) didn't have any tester for other region (so had no idea for that tbh).
Translation i think will be added by time as A12 is in initial stage
Hey guys! I plan to install this ROM on my Zenfone 5Z. Is there any specific guide to the installation process for this ROM? Or should I just follow the pattern of starting twrp, clearing all data and caches and installing the ROM normally...

Yes proceed normally or follow these steps:
Steps to flash A12:
- Go to twrp
- wipe data + dalvik
- flash A12 rom zip and twrp zip
- reboot recovery
- flash additional zips if needed
- reboot system
Note: If you were encrypted on A11 then format before reboot system

I found a vendor image in your profile. When switching from Evaluation-X vendor, the old one remained (it was decrypted). I think maybe that's why my wi-fi call doesn't work
I don't have an item that should enable this option

A12 has vendor prebuilt so doesn't matter what vendor was before...
although you can try to edit build.prop
add this line > persist.dbg.wfc_avail_ovr=1
and restart, then chck wifi call toggle

You seem to made it easy. but i am facing problem in the first step. I have unlocked the bootloader but when i give the command fastboot -w my phone is stuck at the the level waiting for device and it doesnt move.
