Is miui stock cam work on rr?
I don't think so because it need to be ported to RR Rom from MIUI it's not easy. That's why I'am using multiboot Rom MIUI 9.5.12 as primary and RR rom as secondary.

Can we (non miui rom users) use miui camera on our rom?
Now I'am on mokee history..
But I really miss the quality of miui camera..
Google camera is great, but not on par with miui camera..
Pushing directly miui cam from miui rom to our system/app isn't right, right?

i am also using it in cm11.
I m using resurrection remix rom that is based on omni rom. Every thing that i want i already available in that rom but there is no oneplus camera.
I am on the leaked stable Oreo build of MIUI. I want to switch to a Oreo custom ROM, but I am confused which I should flash, the Generic System Images or RR/LOS. I am off course looking for stability(camera, battery) and performance, customization is not at the top of my list of needs. Thanks

I am using Both MIUI 9.5.12 in my Redmi Note 5 China ( Oreo 8.1) and RR Rom by Multiboot TWRP both working fine and RR Rom is stable and battery is also good as far as I used. You can try RR rom. BTW a tip for you if you want to use dual Rom don't put any lock in Custom rom if you do you wont be able to log in at MIUI Rom.

Installed RR today, pretty pleasant experience as of yet!
can anyone port the oos camera to oreo based custom rom ?
there's a thread about oos camera port but it only supports nougat :crying:
Just install newest version from apkmirror. It works for me on los 15.1

Little or no development for Mediatek . All Miui custom roms are based on Xiaomi EU rom only snapdragon. Exception with Elite rom but not for your phone.
